🍪Ellie's P.O.V

"Hey bitch! Today I'm going to motherf-cking teach you how to beat your face,"

I was currently standing in my kitchen. My phone playing a make up tutorial video by a random beauty guru.

I didn't let my gaze on the screen wavered as I tried to understand the basic concept about applying make up.

Yes, my first date was today and I still haven't chosen an outfit nor do I have an idea how to apply make up.

Ark, who was supposed to be here earlier called me one hour ago that she can't come because her step-bitch-mom decided to ground her for trying to borrow her curling wand.

What kind of step mom does that?

"I guess I'm gonna be the first person who goes on a date looking like ursula." I sighed, totally not understanding what he meant.

What did he say again? Spread the foundation and pound what? I leaned my ear closely to the speaker before pressing replay once again.

"What date?" I let out a surprised jump at my mom's voice. She entered the kitchen carrying grocery bags in her hand.

Shit.

It totally slipped my mind to inform her about my first date.

"I'm, uh, going on my first date later," I said nervously, rubbing a hand on my bare arm.

Mom let out a gasp, dropping her grocery bags to the floor."Robert! You're daughter's going to have her first date today!" She shouted at the top of her lungs, my eyes widening in horror.

5 seconds passed and we heard my dad's thundering footsteps down the stairs before he appeared in the foyer.

"She's having her what?!" Dad exclaimed, his eyes widening.

"Date honey. Ellie's going on her first date today!" Mom repeated, a wide smile slipping on her lips.

"Why wasn't I informed about this earlier Elena? I could've practice about the whole interrogation and protective thing!" Dad whines, offering a panicked look.

I couldn't stop the giggle that escaped my lips. My dad is a complete softie despite his giant frame. Sometimes it makes me wonder how he could pull off being a cop with a heart like his.

"I didn't know until I overheard hear talking to herself about a date." Mom defended, walking towards dad.

"Elena, You need to help me practice and what am I going to wear? I can't look like this! I have to look intimidating." He complained, referring to his attire which consists of a mickey mouse pajamas that mom bought him for Christmas and his geeky glasses.

"Honey," Mom softly said, placing her hand on his forearm."I'm pretty sure you'll do good and you have enough interrogation practice with your job." She assured.

Dad pouts."I don't wanna mess it up," He grumbled, turning to look at me briefly.

"I think it should be me saying that dad and what's up with the whole interrogation thing? Is this NCIS or something?" I asked, quirking a brow up.

"Don't worry dear. I'll make sure your dad won't scare the lad," Mom assured, throwing dad a warning look.

"Thanks mom and I was wondering if you can you help me get ready? Ark was supposed to help me but considering how her step mom's a complete female dog, she just had to ground her and I can't understand this bret gu—" My dad bursted out laughing, cutting off my rambling session.

I could feel the heat crawling up on my neck. Great, why can't I just ask like a normal daughter would do?

It's because were born abnormal, Jessica piped in.

"Shit, she's just like you Elena." Dad glanced at mom,"You're mom rambled really badly on our first date. It was quite funny because she wa—" Before dad could finish his sentence, mom elbowed him in the stomach making him gasp.

Mom glared at him,"You couldn't blame me, it was my first date for heaven's sake," Mom retorted.

"Yeah sure," Dad snorted, earning a slap on the arm from her.

She ignored his yelp and turned to me,"Of course pumpkin, what time is he picking you up?" She asked, dragging me towards my room excitedly and ignoring my dad's pleas to help him get ready too.

"Around 7-ish mom, he wants me to dress casual." I answered her, taking the towel that she handed me and went inside my bathroom to take a quick shower.

Alec texted me last night saying to dress casual and that he'll pick me up at 7 pm with a single x in the end leaving me a blushing mess.

I've been bugging him these past few days on where the date will be but he's a stubborn skittle and kept his mouth shut.

My mom made me wear a cute set of black lace underwear that I had in one of my drawers and were obviously hidden underneath my favorite panties.

My obvious protests that there will be no see-saw happening any time sooner were ignored. She made me sit on my chair and I had to let out a few string of curses as she pricked my eyebrows like a pro.

While mom was doing my make up and styling my hair, she was telling me bits of how her date went on with dad.

It was quite sweet that Dad was her first date and now her forever date.

"Change into these," My mom demanded, handing me the outfit she picked. I stood up and changed, not even bothered that my mom was there.

"Don't forget your purse. I already packed the things that you'll need for retouch." I gave her a grateful smile, taking it from her.

Mom let out a squeal of approval when she finally took in my look for tonight.

"You look gorgeous Ellie," Mom said, pushing me towards my full length mirror.

The outfit that I changed into was a black crop top that had red AC-DC print on it. Mom seemed to know that it would make me feel conscious about showing off a glimpse of my flat stomach and paired it up with a cute black leather jacket. The high waisted jeans looked good with it and paired it off with my black Dr. Martens boots.

She straightened my hair and made sure to keep the makeup minimal. I liked how the winged eyeliner and mascara on my lashed made my ocean eyes pop.

She applied some concealer to hide my tea bags and pimple marks on my chin before finished it off with a classic red lip.

I felt like a bad bitch.

correction.

A beautiful bad bitch.

"I do feel beautiful mom. Thank you for helping me." I said, turning around to give her a hug.

She gently patted me on the back."No worries pumpkin. I want you to enjoy the night with your date and please stop overthinking. Just focus on the now." She said, her green eyes regarding me with warmth.

I nodded, a wide smile gracing my features. Tonight was my chance to experience something new and I'll do my best not to ruin it.

The doorbell rang and I could hear my dad's footsteps thundering towards my door before it banged open.

"Elena, I need your reassurance too! By the way, your date is here princess! YAY! You look ready to kick ass," Dad rambled, half serious-panicking.

I couldn't help but laugh when I noticed that dad only changed into a simple white shirt but didn't bother getting rid of his mickey mouse pajamas.

"You look gorgeous babe," Mom said, making her way towards dad and stood up on her tip toes to give my dad a peck on the cheek.

"I was expecting along the lines of hot and sexy my love but that would do! Now, Do I have to bring out my gun?" Dad asked, glancing at me.

My eyes widened."Dad! Absolutely not." I denied, shaking my head profusely.

Mom rolled her eyes, looping her arm with my dad's and pulled him downstairs. I followed behind them and did a small prayer to not let my dad embarrass me.

My hands turned clammy and my heartbeat spiked the closer we got to the door. Mom seemed to notice my turmoil and gave me an reassuring smile.

Deep breaths Ellie, don't want you fainting now. Jessica murmured. Okay, deep breaths.

Dad didn't waste a second and opened the door revealing a handsome Alec King.

The white shirt he wore contrasted nicely on his olive skin and was tucked into a pair of skinny jeans and a belt. The usual black leather jacket of his was present and finished the look with white vans slip-on.

Alec's usually messy hair was styled and looked neat. The rings that adorned his fingers glinted slightly against the moon light.

"Who are you?" My dad asked, his eyes squinting at him and acting oblivious at the fact that I have a date.

I mentally did a facepalm, of course. Only my Dad would act like this.

"Good evening Sir, I'm Alec King and I'm Ellie's date for tonight," Alec introduced, offering his hand to shake.

Dad clasped his hand to his,"Nice to meet you Alec. If you didn't already know I'm Ellie's dad and if you don't mind me asking. Where do you live? What are your intentions with my daughter? Is this some kind of bet you have on with your friends? If you have any malicious intentions with my beauty here then you better bet your ass that I'd hunt you down with my gun, beat the living shit of you, and throw you into ja—" My mom let out a gasp, cutting of my dad's threat.

I closed my eyes in embarrassment. Dad, I'm so gonna tell mom about the candies that you've been hiding underneath mom's clothes.

"Robert! That's not how we treat our daughter's date." She scolded, glaring at dad.

"Elena, shh, you're ruining my protective dad act." Dad whispered. Okay, that wasn't exactly a whisper considering we all heard it.

Mom laughed fakely, turning to Alec,"Excuse my husband Alec, it seems he had a few drinks earlier. You can go now and make sure bring our daughter home before 12," She said, offering him an apologetic smile.

"Don't worry ma'am. Ellie's in safe hands and I promise to return her safe and on time," He promised, giving a polite bow to the both of them.

Dad was about to say something but mom stomped on his feet, a small squeak of pain slipping out of his lips. Mom pushed me towards Alec and said her swift goodbyes and I love you before closing the door shut.

I let out a sigh, turning to Alec with what dignity I have left in my system.

"Your parents are cool." He chuckled, making our way towards the driveway.

"Don't even start," I groaned, my cheeks heating up.

Alec smirked when he noticed it."Fine, I won't but I must say that you look absolutely beautiful Ellie," He said, his tone completely serious.

A weird stomping sensation in my stomach greeted me at his words and I don't know what it was but it made my heart flutter.

"Thank you, you look beautiful too." I replied, mentally smacking my head at the use of word.

The corner of his lips lifted up slightly at my mistake."Nobody has ever called me beautiful before, Thank you biscotto." He joked, sending me a wink.

A flushed crept into my cheeks, turning my gaze away from his. I didn't know why I did it but I started rambling, again.

"No worries, so do you have an extra helmet? You know how dangerous it could be when you aren't driving one! I'm not saying that you're a bad driver or anything but its better to be safe than sorry right? You never know what could happ—" I bit my lip, stopping myself mid-rant upon seeing Alec's amused face.

He chuckled."I did a promise with your mom cookie and I'm not planning on breaking that anytime soon. Don't worry your pretty little head because I bought an extra one, Tadaa! I'm not sure if its the right size though." He said, showing me a smaller size helmet in his hand.

I couldn't help but feel warm all over at his thoughtful action. He brought a . . helmet for me?

"I think we need to go now, I can see your dad laughing his ass off with your mom who's spying on us through the window." He revealed, a chuckle leaving his mouth.

I nodded quietly, not even bothering to turn around because it's something that my parents would do.

"You know the drill beautiful, come here." He unlocked the strap before placing it on my head.

The helmet was an exact fit and I was quite surprised on how he guessed it. He quickly clicked the lock on before hopping unto his harley.

He waited for me get on and I did quite awkwardly this time before he turned the ignition on. I wrapped my arms around his muscular torso and couldn't help but let out a satisfied sigh.

He chuckled, seeming to hear my sigh and I felt my cheeks burned red. I pulled the visor down before we rode off to the direction of our date.

"I can honestly agree that the thrill of riding a motorcycle is addictive." I hummed, handing him my helmet.

Alec grinned."Yeah, it hypes me up every time." He agreed, turning the ignition off and kicked the stand on.

"I don't know how to drive though," I pointed out, fixing my hair and checking to see if my outfit was on point.

"Don't worry, you can always ride my suzy cookie." He teased, fixing his hair quickly in the side mirror before turning to me.

"I wanted to go on a movie date with you, is that alright? We could go eat dinner afterwards and . . eat ice cream if you're up for it." He hesitated, wringing his wrist with his hand.

I threw a glance at the movie theater that stood a few meters before us and turned back to the guy who suddenly looked unsure.

A grinned slipped on my lips. It looks like I wasn't the only who was nervous after all. I took a few steps towards him and looped my arm with his pulling him towards the entrance.

"Its more than enough Alec. Let's eat dinner afterwards and get some ice cream," I repeated, my eyes taking in the group of people going inside.

"What do you want to watch? The Avengers: Endgame or Fast & Furious: Hobbs and Shaw?" Alec asked, glancing at me from the screen.

I have a weakness for hot villains and Jason Statham is one fine villain but come on, it's america's ass we're talking about here.

"I'd go with the first because duh, its avengers aaand Chris Evans is so hot," I trailed off, biting my lip at the trailer.

"Even hotter than me?" Alec asked, throwing a glance at me as he paid for our tickets.

I snorted."I'm sorry sweetie but you stood no chance to begin with." A small giggle escaping my lips.

He seemed daze for a moment before I snapped my fingers at him. Alec casted me a sheepish look before asking me what I wanted to eat.

I opted to choose a bag of skittles with sprite while Alec decided to buy a large popcorn and water.

I wanted to pay for the food since he bought the tickets but the son of a biscuit just handed his credit card and I quote said,'Let the guy pay for the food that his date wants.'

When we entered the theater room, I wanted to have the best view and perfect spot for the movie and immediately dragged Alec to the upper part and in the middle row.

I had to scold Alec a few times because the bloody skittle kept trying to talk to me and I couldn't risk other people being distracted in the movie.

We all know how marvel fans are a savages when it comes to being silent during the movies and I didn't want to risk and get the brunt of it.

Halfway to the movie, I unconsciously rested my head into Alec's shoulder but he didn't seem to mind and moved even closer to make me comfortable.

"This isn't fucking fair." I cried, my poor heart aching at the ending. I sniffled before another round of tears formed in my eyes when I felt my nose blocked.

We were walking out of the theater room and almost everyone was crying except for Alec who's a cold-hearted skittle and was trying to calm me down.

"Stop crying cookie," Alec said, placing his hand behind my back and rubbed it a comforting motion.

"How could I? Even fucking movies are playing with our emotions now." I croaked out, dabbing my cheeks with my fingers to get rid of the tears.

We were now standing in the entrance of the movie theater when Alec quickly pulled me to the side and took something out of his back pocket—a neatly folded tissue.

I felt like a child against Alec who clearly towered over me. He placed a hand on my chin, tipping my head back to his view.

Alec threw a slight glare at me."Stay still and stop crying ." He demanded, gently patting my face with it.

I sniffled, throwing a glare of my own."Easy for you to say." I muttered, straightening my form.

"Thankfully, your mom used waterproof products. Now, look up." He mumbled, completely focused on the task.

I followed obediently feeling him swipe the tissue underneath my eyes carefully. I knew my make up wasn't ruined, mom gave me the reassurance earlier.

Alec fixed my hair gently before leaning back to look at me fully. He paused, noticing the genuine smile that graced my lips.

I couldn't help it though, after doing such a sweet thing for me. Huh, Alec does really have a good heart despite the rumors.

"Gorgeous." He murmured, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Thank you." I blushed, looking down briefly. Alec crumpled the tissue before throwing it the nearest trash can.

We walked out of the theater and I almost stumbled when he smoothly slipped his hand on mine.

We decided to eat at the fast food restaurant that was just a few blocks away from the movie theater. We left the motorcycle in the parking lot and would just walk back to get it.

I was laughing on the way because there were a few incidents where I almost tripped because I was trying to keep up with his long strides.

In the end, he had to cut down his stride and lowered his pace so that I could keep up with him.

"What are you gonna order?" Alec asked, his eyes glancing up from the menu.

"Don't pressure me, you go first. I can't choose," I trailed off, eyeing the various dishes that I wanted to eat.

Alec turned to the waiter and told his order and while he was talking, I discreetly took my money from my bag and hid it in my palm.

"I'd like to have a cheeseburger with no onions please, uuh some potato chips, and just water." I said, glancing at the guy who wrote it down.

I handed him the money before he could even say the total. I gave Alec a smug look who was just about to take his wallet.

The guy shortly left after, telling he'd be back with our order. Alec regarded me with amusement and placing his chin at the back of his hand.

"Are you happy that you got to pay?" He wondered out.

"Happy I am." I cheekily answered, a triumphant smile forming on my
