THAT WAS LITERALLY MY FIRST REACTION WHEN I SAW THIS (the picture above)

February 23, 2017 was when my sister barged unto my room screaming at me about wattpad and showed me that (first picture) I was literally on loading mode and it took me a few minutes to register that TBMAC is #748 in teen fiction!  and  I literally started screaming and jumping with her.

February 25, 2017 when I borrowed my sister's phone and account to check if the TBMAC is still trending on teen fiction (because I cant see it on my acc) and was AGAIN surprised to see it got promoted to #437 in teen fiction😱

I still can't believe that out of thousands of book that are updated on wattpad, mine got ranked on teen fiction and I just want to thank you guys so much because without you, it wouldn't have come to this.

The words kept replaying on my mind like a broken record while I sat at the passenger seat with Jayden driving.

I couldn't drive, not with this state of mind and thankfully, Jayden knew that. The air that was hung around us was tense and full of anxiety.

The twins were acting calm unlike me, fidgeting uncomfortably in the seat while tapping my legs or fingers. I could feel a beads of sweat form at the base of my forehead.

It took us about fifteen minutes to arrive and we were immediately greeted with police cars at the site. Their blue and red light flickering continuously with a standby ambulance.

I didn't waste a second and unbuckled myself before sprinting out of the car. My heart dropped as I saw the scene before me.

Todd's car was completely ruined, the back of it had a huge dent and the front of it was damaged badly as it seemed that it crashed at the pole that was now lying on the road causing traffic.

Behind Todd's car was an unfamiliar black van. It didn't have any damage except at the front that had a huge dent.

I grew confused but set it aside as I looked for Ellie or one of the boys. I noticed someone familiar approaching me, making my eyes widen in recognition.

"You," Ellie's father seethed, as he pointed a finger at me and pulled at the collar of my shirt while glaring at me.

"What the f-ck is happening? Where is my daughter?" He hissed, tightening his hold.

"What do you mean sir?" I asked, completely confused.

"What I mean is, why was I inform at the station that my daughter has gotten into an accident with two boys because of a car that seemed to bump into them purposely and When I arrived here, the car was empty with only traces of their blood." He barked, his eyes blazing wih anger.

"What? Ellie's gone?" I asked horrified," No, no, no. This can't be." I said, before shutting my eyes tightly.

I felt my heart drop, regret swarming in me. It was as if my lungs weren't working and I couldn't breathe properly.

Unwanted memories resurfaced in my mind and I shook my head, trying to get rid of the images but it seemed that my mind wasn't agreeing as the past unfolded again.

"Honey? What are you doing? Let him go," A soft voice demanded.

I was immediately let go and I fell to my knees with my hand furiously gripping my hair while I mutter the word 'no' over and over again.

Bright blood was all I saw and I could feel myself panic. It felt like a wall was enclosing around me with no escape route.

A soft hand enclosed on my arm,"Calm down Alec," Ellie's mom softly said, her voice sounding very much the same like Ellie.

I was soothed at her voice and after a few seconds, felt myself breathe again but the pain in my chest was still there.

I was pulled up by Jayden and Hayden. Lifting my head up, I noticed Ellie's mom looking at me with worried eyes, I avoided eye contact, embarrassed at my moment of weakness.

Taking a deep breathe,"I can explain sir but maybe in a more private area?" I asked, looking around at the cops that were investigating.

"We can talk at the house," Ellie's mom answered, when she notice her husband about to reject.

Ellie's dad sighed before nodding along, he was about to walk away when he stopped and looked at me blankly after a few seconds, he shook his head and continued.

"I'll see you there, Drive safely." Ellie's mom said before catching up with her husband.

"I'd inform Connor and they're trying to track them down now," Hayden informed which I nodded.

I took a deep breath trying to calm myself down. I needed to be strong, not only for myself but for Ellie also.

"Todd and Chase is with her and I'm sure, they won't let a single finger touch her." Haysen assured, trying to be positive.

"Are you gonna tell them about the gang stuff?" Jayden asked, curiously.

"I don't know," I answered blankly, my mind drifting back to the past.

Jayden gave me a few shake,"Don't think about it Alec, it's in the past now." He said, completely knowing what I was thinking.

I sighed heavily before nodding. I made my way back to the car stopping myself from looking back.

My hand was about to knock when it opened in a rush and a small body enveloped my lower half.

"Mwister! You're back!" Theodore squealed, hugging me tightly.

I could feel myself smile at the sight of his doe green eyes and messy brown hair. It seemed that he was eating something since there was a few crumbs on the side of his face.

"Yes, I'm back little guy." I said grinning slightly.

He procedeed to strech his arms signaling he wants to be carried. I lifted him up without hesitation, he suddenly gasped.

"You bwot your fwends! Hi fwends of mwisters! I'm Theowdore!" He exlaimed, streching his hand in a hand shake.

The twins looked at Theodore and I could tell he already got them wrapped around in his tiny fingers.

Jayden was the first one to shake his hand,"Hi theodore, I'm Jayden and this is my twin brother, Hayden." He introduced.

Hayden proceeded to shook Theodore's hand whilst Theo gave him a toothy smile.

"Ooh! Twins! I never had twin fwends before!" Theodore said, clapping his hands excitedly.

Hayden chuckled,"Well, now you have chipmunk." He said.

Theo was about to answer when someone cleared their throat. We looked back to the door to see Ellie's Dad standing there.

Unlike before where he was glaring at me. Now, he seemed to soften up and looked at me with curiosity instead.

"Theo! There you are, you left you sandwhich on the couch." Ellie's mother looked surprised when she notice Theo in my arms.

"I'm sowwy mom, I saw mwister getting out of his cwar amd I got excited," Theo apologized, looking down.

Ellie's mother smiled warmly,"It's okay Theodore. Just don't do it again okay?" She said, her eyes shining brightly.

"Yes mom!" Theodore said, nodding his head enthusiastically.

"We have to talk Alec," Ellie's dad reminded, crossing his arms.

Nerves seemed to back up,"Oh, yes, um, sorry sir. It slipped my mind." I stammered out.

"Let's go talk at the kitchen," He said, before turning around and walking inside.

"Come on Theo, you have to finish your sandwhich," She spoke, nodding her head behind her.

I brought Theodore down and he took off leaving us with Ellie's mom. The twins and I shifted uncomfortably.

"Stop being so tense and come inside," Ellie's mom urged, and we procedeed to enter.

We all sat at the dining table, We took the three seats in the left while Ellie's parents sat opposite of us.

"I'm a gang leader," I started, cutting straight to the chase deciding that its better to tell the truth than lie instead.

Ellie's mom seemed surprise, even though I thought that she's going to be furious at the thought of her daughter going out with a gang leader.

"What?" Ellie's dad said, although it looked liked he heard it the first time.

"I'm a gang leader,"I repeated, this time a bit slowly.

Ellie's dad reclined on his seat and looked at me with burrowed brows," We know there's only one that exist here and one of them is Light Crest," He said.

I was honestly surprised at that information because we try to keep our profiles really low leaving with no evidence behind but that white feather.

"No, there is actually another one and It's dark crest," I answered, eyes meeting with his.

For a second, I think his eyes widen for abit before looking at her wife in a worried expression.

"So, which gang are you?" Ellie's dad said, looking at me intently.

"Light crest," I answered before continuing,"but we're different from other gangs. The main goal of our gang is to protect. We try to prevent the people being kille-" I was cut off by Ellie's Dad.

"You sabotage the drug deliveries, and you give hints or clues to the shops that were about to be robbed by them. You leave no evidence behind but only a single feather, Am I correct?" He interjected, saying it like he'd already known it.

I widen my eyes and looked at the boys who gave me the same expression also.

"Yes sir," I nodded slowly, still confused on how he'd known all that information.

He nodded slowly,"What is your name again?" He asked again.

I cleared my throat slightly,"Alec King sir," I replied.

His eyes now widened in realization,"You're a king," He whispered.

Ellie's mom scanned me for a minute before letting out a gasp also.

"Yes sir. I'm a king, why do you um, look so surprised?" I wondered out.

Ellie's mom suddenly stood up and lifted her shirt slightly before pulling her jean slightly downward and my eyes widened at the sight of the black intricate feather tattoo that we all have in the same area.

"I was once a member of the light crest gang," Ellie's mother admitted.

"What?" I said disbelief laced in my voice.

Pulling her shirt down,"Your father, Harvey king was my childhood bestfriend and I've been in the gang since I was highschool." She explained, her eyes abit blank.

"The Light Crest and The Dark Crest honestly weren't always enemies. They were two gangs converge in one having one main goal: to protect." She continued furthermore.

"What happened?" Jayden asked, seeming interested.

"During the time of Harvey's Father incharge, The leader of the Dark crest
got killed and a new leader was assigned, but that leader didn't have the same goal as the Light Crest. He cut off the ties between the two gangs and killed Harvey's Father setting war between the two gangs immediately." She said, growing sadder at every words.

She caught my eyes,"You're dad was seventeen when that happened and he immediately got promoted to being the leader. We were in our senior year when I met Ellie's dad," She said casting her husband a soft smile.

"He was being bullied by the jocks and your father taught those assholes a lesson and after that, I took a liking to Ellie's Dad and we started dating. He didn't know anything about the gangs stuff until he was kidnapped," She choked out, getting emotional.

Ellie's Dad gave her a side hug which she muttered with an 'im okay' before sniffling.

"We couldn't find him for two days before one of our trackers managed to trace their hideout. We immediately did a rescue and the leader got killed. Your father Harvey, was also about to get shot but this guy here, took a bullet for him." She said referring to her husband.

Ellie's Dad procedeed to shows us his scar which was on his right shoulder. It looked like it hurt alot but he carried it proudly.

"After that, your dad made me quit the gang and had us moved away but not before promising he'd stay in contact and we did but after six months he stopped calling and visiting and it was like he just vanished and we never heard from him before. We moved back here a few years later and we tried to track your dad but we couldn't." She finished.

"'My dad died from an ambushed two years ago while my mom got in an accident that left her lower half paralyzed, I had an older brother but he ran away leaving me the obligation of being the gang leader," I croaked out, ignoring the slight pang of pain.

Ellie's mother gasped before turning to her husband and starting crying. I closed my eyes as I felt my heart clench painfully. So many thoughts running in my mind.

I didn't know any about this. My dad and I weren't that close since he was too busy training my older brother who ran away from his position.

I tried to track him but he didn't want to be found because everytime we were so close on finding him. We were greeted by a dead end.

"Alexander is the leader of the Dark crest, it seemed that they kidnapped Ellie because of me, to try and surrender." I informed them.

"I'm sorry, I tried to stay away from your daughter but I just couldn't and now, sh-she's kidnapped and its all because of me." I apologized, head bowing in shame.

"I can't blame you," Ellie's dad started which I looked up,"For falling for my daughter." He added.

"Ellie is a strong girl with a good heart, she's been through so much and yet she never forgets to give love to others so who wouldn't love her?" Ellie's dad continued.

Ellie's dad gave me a small smile,"So don't apologize for falling for my little girl because despite all of this, you made her happy." Ellie's dad finished.

"Thank you sir and ma'am," I said, feeling abit positive.

"I think we overcomed the formal nicknames, Call me Robert and my wife, Elena." He said, giving me a small smile.

"Thank you Robert and Elena, I promise, I'll do everything I can to find her." I swore, determination sinking into me.

Hayden jumped in his seat and we all turned to look at him, my heart leaping out of my chest at his words.

"Connor found their hideout,"
