It was a great morning with birds chirping in the air and white,thick clouds soaring around in the sky.

Not!

It was a headache filled morning for me. Poor me! When you are soundly sleeping with great dreams going on in your head and your big brother suddenly realises that he has a younger sister.

Ashton woke me up today with so much kindness that I want to kick him. He came into my room and woke me up by spilling freezing cold water on my head.

What a great brother!

I chased him around the house cursing under my breathe but that didn't stop him,he pushed me in the swimming pool too which started a major headache.

I asked my mother for a holiday because of my poor health but she just laughed at me and high fived my brother for what he did to me.

What a great family.

I got ready and started walking downstairs only to stop by shock on what I saw. Downstairs my mom,Sydney and Hannah were talking and laughing like old friends,high fiving each other too.

I cleared my throat to tell them that I was there.

"Hey JJ! We were just talking to your mom. She is so damn cool." Hannah said.

"So what was I saying yeah after Ashton scared her she was so scared that she wet her pants." As soon as mom said that Hannah and Sydney both burst out laughing.

They both were looking at me and were clutching their stomachs,laughing their asses off.

"Oh my god JJ you were such a pus- uh scared baby as a child." Sydney choked out.

Then it dawned on me. I turned towards my mom with a glare. She just looked at me innocently.

"What did you tell them?" I asked,gritting my teeth.

"Oh nothing just about you when you were a kid and when you wet your pants." She answered looking innocent.

That was really embarrassing,that incident. I was gonna yell at her for telling that to my friends but before I could open my mouth Sydney interrupted,grabbing my hand.

"We are going to be late for school. Bye Rachel see you later,we have a lot to talk." Sydney said,pulling me out of the door with her.

"Bye girls. Yeah sure honey there are more stories to tell." She said,winking.

"Mom!" I whined.

"Bye Rachel." Hannah said and closed the door behind her.

"Hi guys!" I greeted the guys.

"Hey JJ" the guys greeted,not all of the them.

"Hey birdie."here comes the last one.

"Hey JJ where is your brother? We haven't seen him in a while." Zach asked.

"I don't know, I haven't seen him since today morning at home." I replied honestly.

"He is always busy since he has joined the football team." Zach wondered out loud.

"I'll talk to him today about this." I say.

"Mom I am home." Ashton calls out.

I go downstairs to meet my brother as I have not seen him since today morning after his stupid prank. I was pissed at him in the morning but now when I think about his prank I laugh. He is really stupid but he is my brother.

As I near the kitchen I hear him say
"Mom I am gonna go out at 10,there is a football gathering to discuss strategy for our upcoming game."

What? He just returned now,at 9 o'clock and he is gonna leave again and that too for a football gathering. I know that no football gathering takes place so late. Something is fishy, if he would have chosen a better excuse he would have fooled me. But he is a dumbass that has a marshmallow size brain and I can easily see through his stupid excuse.

"What? You just got home honey." Mom complained.

"Yes mom I know but the game is really very important." Said my dumb brother.

"Yeah yeah but you can only go if you have dinner first and-" mom kept on saying something but I didn't hear what. I was long gone.

When I reached my room my head was spinning with the latest conversation I heard. My mind kept on thinking why my brother was lying, especially lying to me. We shared everything with each other.

Then my mind drifted off to the conversation I had with Zach today morning. Ashton was always away,never did he hang out with us in school. When we enter the school he directly goes off for his football practice and in lunch also he is away. Something is definitely fishy.

I call the first person that comes to my mind.

"Hey birdie!" My heart started racing at that.

Yeah Jace,he is my friend as well as Ashton's. So obviously he would be interested about Ashton's new behavior.

"Hey softie! How's your grandma?" I asked him.

I always call him softie when we are alone because then no one can question me why I call him that.

He sighed and replied " Granny is much better now."

Jace's grandma got home a few days ago. She got a heartattack and was admitted in the hospital but now she is better.

"Ohh."

"So instead of asking me how I was and how I was doing you just call me to ask about my granny. I am really very disappointed birdie." He says,taunting me.

"Can you just shut up for a sec and listen to me." I say.

"I am listening."

I tell him everything I have heard and tell him about my suspicions on my brother.

After I finish he speaks up sounding curious "what do you think about it?"

"I don't know. I think I am gonna follow him tonight to find out." I say,the devil sister I am.

"I am coming too. Will reach there at 9:45. Bye Birdie." He says and hangs up before I can utter a single word out.

Tonight's gonna be a hell of a night!
