The laugh that bubbled from her lips made Tony grin triumphantly, Natasha smile and Loki look taken aback at the noise. Oddly enough he felt an odd prick in his chest at the factor it had not been him to have her make such a sound but he shook it off as quickly as it had risen.

He turned and awkwardly filled a glass of water for her and slid it on the bench as she smiled at him thanks to him, her brown eyes twinkling and he found himself having to force his gaze elsewhere.

However Sparrow only felt guilty, while her stomach was slowly beginning to release the aching pains she hated how slim she looked, she could feel it when she sat down how bony she'd grown from being up there.

At the time she'd hoped she would just fade away and be forgotten about, she was actually in the process of doing that herself until Loki discovered her. Which she already had mixed feelings on, "So you're not really all cat?" Tony inquired but still kept a light-hearted charm to keep her calm.

"I-im sorry" she blurted suddenly picking at the hem of her cardigan that needed a good washing, "what for?" Natasha asked a crease in her brow

"for not telling you who I was, I was-" she swallowed thickly avoiding their interested eyes "-scared that you wouldn't want me here and I-" she was getting choked up about the sentence and Loki could instantly tell.

"it's fine" He interrupted, even though the tower wasn't even rightfully his, Tony still silently agreed but his eyes darted to the snarky god who looked at Sparrow with some,

unidentifiable emotion and he wondered what he was up to.

"Dare I say rock of ages is right, we're just glad you're safe, we aren't kicking you out and you're more than welcome to come and go from the tower whenever you'd like, I think we're all just glad Loki found you in time"

she covered a weak smile and nodded, "yeah..."

"so, that means you'll need a room right kid?" Tony nudged her shoulder and she looked at him with wide eyes "Oh no no I can-"

"Nonsense there's one in this penthouse, across from Loki's actually" He commented as if the god himself was not meters away from him and burning holes into the man's head with his glare.

"I-I uh-" she was stumbling for a response, she already knew the god had hated her when they first met, and though he had helped her recently she wasn't even remotely sure about living in the room parallel to his in this penthouse.

"Come on, I'll show you the place then you can decide, how's that?" Natasha hopped off her chair and offered Sparrow a hand, and she gulped nervously meeting the eyes of the Russian before they flickered to Loki for some sort of confirmation.

He let a soft nod slip, and she smiled lightly at him before cautiously placing her hand in Natasha's outstretched one and allowing the assassin to assist her up the stairs in the pink cast. "I'll get Bruce to grab you some crutches for that ankle too" Natasha murmured before leading her to the room.

Unlike a hotel room set up the rooms weren't a few footsteps apart, it was the penthouse's width apart, Loki's room door on the opposite side of the room from where Natasha was leading her.

But both doors were visible, Sparrow's room was against the wall that had the stairs leading to the bookshelf, simply stepping out of her door and turning right would grant her the passage up to the sacred high space that Loki enjoyed spending his time in.

When Natasha opened the door Sparrow gaped at the place, the wall was a massive glass view that looked out onto the city and against the wall immediately to her right was a massive white-sheeted bed. The moonlight illuminated the place, but Natasha turned on the light, so it was better.

A beautiful wardrobe with a roof to floor sized mirror that shone her reflection that she grimaced at "there's a bathroom just through there if you want to clean up, spare clothes are in the closet so you can help yourself" Natasha gave her a warm smile.

Sparrow found it hard to wipe off her current one when she embraced the assassin in a tight squeeze murmuring "thank you thank you" which caused the redhead to chuckle and rub Sparrows back in a comforting gesture.

"Any time, tell me if you need anything, I'm on level 55" The two pulled apart as Sparrow wiped a stray tear that had slipped down her cheek and she nodded, Natasha then left and the girl was left to look around her room and wash up.

Sparrow-

I looked over to the bathroom and breathed out a long sigh, I really do need to shower, so I quickly stumbled over to the closet and dug inside of it for a change of clothes.

I grabbed a nice large white T-shirt that should cover my legs, some undergarments, and a hairbrush. I also found some boxer-like shorts that would work for tonight. With that, I headed into the clean white tiled bathroom and dumped my dirty clothes on the floor setting up my new ones to the side.

The cast was sort of like a cast- I mean it was bandaged with white bandages and the outer layer just appeared to be a thicker type of bandage not quite rock hard so I peeled it off even though I was doing it slowly,

I quickly hopped into the shower and my shoulders instantly relaxed at the steamy water as it flowed over my grimy skin, I let the soap take away all the dirt that swirled at my feet and down the drain.

But I had to lower myself to the floor to avoid putting weight on my bad ankle,

I thoroughly rinsed, shampooed, and conditioned my hair until it was silky smooth and the brush could run through it without catching a knot. By now it was a fair way past my shoulders but I didn't have the heart to chop it all off just yet.

So after shaving, scrubbing my face, and being sure I was pristine and clean I stepped out, dried off, and put on the fresh clothes feeling far more comfortable now that I didn't feel so dirty, and I attempted to messily re-bandage my injury,

I quickly blow-dried my hair cringing at the thought of the cold damp feeling going down my back all night, then I tied it up with a spare hair tie I found in one of the draws. Looking at my reflection It was hard to resist pulling my shirt around my waist to see just how slim I'd gotten.

When I saw my ribs poking through it I felt sick to my stomach on comparing my prior body shape to now, how long had I let myself get to this? thinking about it now I looked far slimmer on my legs and arms, I would need to eat a lot more to get back to my usual weight but for now, I was extremely exhausted and wanted to rest.

So I did just that,
