I slipped on the dress I was given to change into and it was stunning, it framed my figure perfectly. 

It wasn't something I would always find myself wearing often if ever but I found it absolutely breathtaking even if it was only one flat color, any more would clash with it.

I hadn't gone partying or clubbing as such for a long time so I suppose I just needed to fit back into that light and get into the feel of it again. Besides I could do with a distraction rather than just moping around at the tower, I may as well enjoy myself tonight.

I undid my hair to see if it would suit it any better and I found myself oddly loving it out? I can't exactly remember the last time I felt this confident, powerful even.

I could help but do a little twirl and run my fingers over the pitch-black dress that nearly kissed the floor, the long slit down the side exposing my leg when I angled it out enough. I didn't look like the moping girl I had been a second before leaving the tower, I looked strong, courageous and someone you shouldn't fuck around with

I looked gorgeous.

Content with how it fit and looked on me I unlocked the changing room door as it squeaked making my two friends turn to face me and their jaws practically hit the floor. 

Georgia let out a squeal and came over taking my hands in hers marveling over my outfit. "you're so beautiful Sparrow! I knew the dress would work! its perfect on you!" I flushed and smiled bashfully at her praise.

I thanked her and Morgan came over smiling and nodding in agreement, I looked at their arms as Georgia held what appeared to be a knee high strong red dress and Morgan clutched a soft deep purple one with some kind of ripple pattern in her arms.

"you guys picked out your dresses? they look really nice" I grinned and they nodded, "yeah I like the way this one fits on me, but lets go buy them and seal the deal" Morgan chirped and I nodded turning back into the changing room to undress.

After paying for our dresses, Georgia set her sights on a nearby jewellery store, I grimaced, I didn't have that much money on my card so I didn't want something from here.

But I still obliged to looking around at all the pretty things they had to offer, though I usually would loose small things like earrings and rings when I had them so I never bothered with buying more of them.

I trailed like a lost puppy after the two as they marveled at the shin golds and silvers cased in the glass as I simply smiled down at the shiny bits and bobs. 

I wonder if Lokis gold is like this gold, maybe its worth more since it is from another planet, is asgard a planet? No, no, Thor said something like a realm I'm pretty sure,

"look! look! this one is so pretty!" Morgan yelped pointing to the small rose coloured ring studded with small silver gems along the top. The tag next to it read '$150' 

"would you like to try it on mam?" A woman with short blonde bob hair dressed in a crisp white dress came around adjusting the glasses on the bridge of her nose as Morgan nodded eagerly her hands tapping on the glass counter.

She tried it on when the woman handed it to her and Morgan smiled at it, "I love it! I think I will get this one!" I smiled and nodded silently,

Georgias eye caught on another piece nearby as I awkwardly made my way around the other side of the counters just letting my eyes wonder when the sale was made behind me. Would they pity me if they saw I didn't buy anything?

I fought the urge to jump when I heard Morgan next to me "Find anything you like so far Sparrow?" 

"Hm.." I hummed trailing off not really sure because everything was out of my budget.

I admired the counter full of multiple bracelets when my eyes caught on a beautiful snake bracelet. 

It was a golden shimmering piece and it was absolutely stunning, little scales imprinted in the metal and two small ruby's for the eyes that seemed to glint a dark green when you turned in the light.

I gasped when I noticed it and the two girls smirked at one another at my reaction "I think she already has" Georgia muttered teasingly.

and it wasn't too much! only $60 compared to everything else, maybe it wasn't real gold, but I didn't care I loved it. So after purchasing we left the shop and decided on a time to meet outside the club 'Son of a pitch'

After a quick hug and goodbyes I made my way back to the tower, I clutched the bags handles tightly in my hands a little more pep in my step for tonight. 

Eagerly I slipped on the bracelet unable to resist as it perfectly clasped around my wrist, weirdly I thought it resembled Loki, and how Thor told me he shifted into a snake once and stabbed Thor! I couldn't stop laughing for hours after that.

They seemed to have a sweet connection, though Loki wasn't always fond of his brother and that they were so different from one another Thor was still sweet to him.

The guards didn't stop me so I figured Tony must have given the okay for me to go in freely, I stepped into the elevator and took it to the penthouse mentally preparing myself for Loki being up there.

When I entered my eyes landed on Nat who was on the couch a glass of some sort of drink in her hand. "Hey Nat" I greeted as she looked up and smiled at me,

"Hey Sparrow" she glanced at the bags in my hands and rose a brow "went shopping" 

"mhm" I hummed subtly glancing to the place the angry god usually was but he wasn't in his chair, "for what?" she seemed a little pushy as she stirred the contents of her cup by holding the edges with one hand and rotating the glass.

"me and my friends are going out to the club, I haven't been in a long time so It'll be nice to get out" Her eyes narrowed momentarily which caught me off guard before she cleared her throat and looked fine in the next second.

Whats up with her? 

"wouldn't have taken you for the partying type"

"um-whats that supposed to mean?" I had to try keep out the slowly kindling frustration I was having for some reason, Nats never been so straight forward with me.

What was she doing before I got here anyway? Looking around no one else was in here but her. "where is the club?"

Deciding to be a little more apprehensive I shrugged, "not too far, I'll be back a bit late if you were wondering" and she simply hummed staring at the contents of her glass silently 

I nearly shuddered when I entered my room leaving the conversation at that.

Strange.

When I entered my room and shut the door behind me I made quick work of taking things out of my bag, I had a quick shower and dried my hair and went as far as straightening it. 

When I was done combing it all out and it flowed in chocolate strands just past my shoulders I slipped into my midngith dress and did a little spin in front of the mirror.

I opted for light makeup, a pale lipstick that wasn't too strong, some eye liner and mascara before I was content with how I looked.

I made sure the bracelet was back on my wrist before I looked down at my feet.

Shoes! I forgot to get some new shoes! 

I let out a groan my mood dropping as I stared at my bare feet. I really only had converse the ones I changed out of when I shifted back, Stark provided some clothes but I doubted any heels.

Regardless I checked and there were none, I left my room and didn't see Loki or Nat so I entered the elevator and asked FRIDAY if she could take me ot Natasha's level.

I stepped into her aparemtn section and called out for her feeling shy that I had to interrupt whatever she was busy with. "Sparrow?" her head peered around from a room and she walked out with a welcoming smile.

She seemed much happier compared to a minute ago-

"Hey Nat, um you dont happen to have any spare heels do you?" I looked at my feet and she smiled. "of course I do! you look stunning by the way, what size shoe are you?"

"size 7 womans" I replied a she dug through her closet and turned with a couple of shimmery gold heels as I gaped,

She handed them to me and I shook my head "these are too good for m-"

"Sparrow they're yours I barely use them besides they barely fit me anymore, may as well give them to someone who can put them to use" I smiled gratefully at her and squeezed her in a hug as she returned it.

I considered asking her what was wrong before since she seemed different but maybe it was bad so I didn't want to bring it up incase she'd just gotten over it.

I slipped on the heels and I was now level with Nat as she grinned, "where are you off to all dressed up?" 

Didnt I already tell her?

Oh well 

"a club not too far from the tower with my friends" she nodded and we walked to the elevator as I clutched a purse I'd grabbed before coming to Nat,

"well have fun and dont drink too much" we shared a laugh before the doors of the elevator closed and I went down to the bottom floor again.
