3rd person's POV

"It's a pleasure to see you again mist pillar. But, what can I do for you?" You asked turning around to face him fully.

You had already anticipated some of the hashira to just randomly show up wanting to know you or yet, judge your character in person.

Since you had defeated the serpent pillar, you had kinda expecting Obanai to be the first to approach you, to settle some grudge or some sort.

"...."

"......"

"I forgot." Was his simple reply after a brief pause before walking off.

"huh...?" Letting out a sound of disbelief, you stare at muichiro's retreating figure. "o...kay?" You thought to yourself awkwardly before turning around to continue your original plan of exploring.

You should've known this kind of outcome when having a conversation with the Mist pillar, as he tends to forget some things...sometimes. Heck it's already a surprise he remembers your name and didn't demand some kind of fight.

Walking around from one field to another on what felt like hours, you didn't't noticed you had arrived on of the Hashira's estate.

Looking around, not a single soul can be seen. Like the whole place is completely deserted. However, the house was well kept and spotless.

It's so eerie around that the sound you could only hear are your footsteps and breeze passing by along with the sway of the tree leaves.

Surely, snooping and trespassing around someone's property was illegal but that concept doesn't apply to you as you walk around the perimeter. Stopping the urge to enter the main house wanting to not add your crime of trespassing to being a thief (which fall on the line of your work in the past life). You just turn your attention towards the koi pond in front of the house which contains full of lively koi fish.

Minutes of walking around observing and watching the fish on the pond, you took a sharp breath feeling your wounds began to throb painfully like having a surgery without any kind of anesthesia.

Immediately sitting down at the foot of nearby tree, you heave out a huge breath attempting to ease the aching pain on your stomach.

Closing your eyes, ypu lean your head back against the tree.

'Crap, I feel so sleepy.' You said inside your mind. You tried to keep your eyes open by blinking but your mind and body had already succumbed to sleep.

Coming to his estate, Rengoku was surprised when he saw a female figure leaning on a tree sleeping peacefully.

Approaching the said figure, he was more surprised when he saw you.

He didn't quite expected to see you again after the meeting with their master. Now here you are sleeping at the yard of his estate.

Confused as to why you're here, he didn't have the heart to wake you up, since you look so peaceful with your mouth slightly parted. Your (h/c) lock swaying with the soft wind passing by and the warm glow of the afternoon cascading across your form make you oh so beautiful and glowing which made him captivated.

Not having the heart to wake you up when you look at peace. He carefully sat next to you, then he felt you subconsciously lay your head to his shoulders catching the flame pillar by surprise.

He sat there patiently, enjoying the peace and silence the nature could offer while observing your facial features for a few seconds waiting for you to wake up.

Half an hour passed, feeling the slight cold breeze, you began to stir in your sleep.

Fluttering your eyes open, you immediately sat straight and look to your side. Surprised to see the flame pillar, Kyojuro Rengoku sitting beside you and Letti you use his shoulder as a pillow.

"Oh! You're now awake." He exclaimed with a wide smile. A little bit startled, you stared at him not knowing how to say in this awkward moment.

A question that swarm inside your head. 'How did you not notice his presence when you're practically a loght sleeper, also why didn't he woke you up.'

"Haha, you look quite peaceful so I didn't dare to wake you up." He said answering your silent question.

"BTW, How did you find yourself in my estate?" He asked with his smile still remains.

'Wow. Straight to the point is he.' You thought utterly speechless before composing yourself to amswer him. "About that, I'm growing bored staying in bed for two days, So I went to explore which eventually led me here." You reasoned put while pushing yourself up to stand, feeling the pain has long subsided in your sleep.

"By all means, I apologize for trespassing.(not)" You added brushing the dust off your clothes.

"Haha now worries. Im barely here anyways." He laughed, also standing up. "By any chance, would you let me give you a tour?" He asked offering you his hand.

'who could even resist that smile?' You said to yourself as you took his hand. "If you're not so busy."
