That girl.
She was so... innocent.

She looked at me with all the confidence she could muster. Trying to intimidate me. Poor thing wouldn't kill a fly.

Although she did punch me. I had to admit that she was hella good at punching, and had almost broken my nose. Maybe her father taught her.

I still didn't even know her name. I remembered that she had introduced herself in class, but back then I couldn't be bothered to remember it. I didn't even notice that Kelly was sitting on me, until she blocked my view of the new girl.

Normally, Kelly had much more makeup on. I had to say more makeup suited her better then with less makeup.

"Why didn't you put on makeup today." I asked her bluntly. She gaped at me for a second, before looking away and taking a deep breath.

"There isn't a reason babe" She said turning back to me, but not looking me in the eyes.

"Tomorrow I want you to wear more makeup." I stated, and Kelly turned around in my lap, her back glued to my front.

"Of course babe" She said.

I looked back to the new girl. She was much prettier than Kelly. And her smile was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen.

"So, are we going to the tracks today?" Matt asked me, and I nodded.

The tracks were where all the illegal street races were held. The gang was at the top of the winners list, and we had to keep our reputation up.

Just then, the new girl stood along with another girl that she had been around.

They kept on talking while walking towards the exit, and the new girl laughed at something the other girl said.

"Hey babe, I'm going to head out to class, I'll catch up with you later." Kelly said, standing up and walking out. I nodded.

My inner circle kept and talking around me, as I felt my phone vibrate once in my pocket.

I grabbed it, and checked who messaged me. It was my father. I unlocked my phone and read.

'Hey son. You have a few people in your gang who are disloyal, and are behind on payments. I have a few people who I can hire. You can pick who when you get home.'

I gritted my teeth. How the hell did my father know who was disloyal in my gang, and I didn't. And did he seriously just text me that he already had someone to do the job?

He was right that I didn't like killing people, but I could chose my own assassins thank you very much.

"You ok dude? You look like you're about to kill someone." Jake said, smirking. He would love it if I did.

I told them what my father just texted me and they all fell silent.

"How would you're father know what's going on in the gang? Isn't he out?" Milo said, stating the obvious.

"Let's go," I said, standing up and grabbing my stuff. The others followed not a second after.

"I want to know what my fathers intentions are with my gang."

Silvia and I left each to our separate classes after lunch. After our classes we met up in the main hallway.

"How did your class go?" I asked Silvia when I reached her.

"It was fine. What about yours?"

"Eh, nothing special." I answered. And she nodded her head in acknowledgement.

"Hey I gotta go to the bathroom real quick, come with?" Silvia asked me.

"Yeah, sure." I said and we started walking towards the girls bathroom.

We had a free period now, and we were planning on sitting on the football field and doing some of our homework, as there where no football practices for whatever reason.

As we opened the door to the girls bathroom, I immediately noticed that someone was crying. The girl that was crying had her hands in her hair, and her face looking in the sink as if she was looking for all answers in there. That would be a pretty bad place to look for them if you asked me.

She looked up as we got closer, and I saw it was... Kelly? Her face was a complete mess, and her hair looked like a bird's nest.

I walked straight to her, and without hesitation, gave her one of my best hugs. What? She looked like she needed one.

Kelly stiffened up, but after a second or two leaned against me, and cried even harder. I just held her. Then I felt Silvia hug Kelly as well.

I knew that Kelly was the 'head bitch' of the school and shit, but no one deserved to feel so bad that they cried like Kelly was right now. Except maybe me.

"What happend?" I whispered to her, not wanted her to feel forced to tell me.

"Nothing happened. It's just... I'm so.. so sick of pretending." She said on a sob. "I hate Steel, I hate him so much. And I have to pretend I like him."

I knew that it wasn't the whole story. I didn't know how I knew that it wasn't, I just did. Like some kind superpower. I still let it slide. I mean I didn't even know her.

A few minutes later Kelly had stopped crying, and Silvia and I were fixing some of her makeup, and doing her hair. Trying to cheer her up.

"Thank you guys so much." Kelly said for the hundred time, and I just smiled.

"Don't even worry about it girl." Silvia said.

"Is there anything I can do to pay you back?" Kelly asked again, and Silvia sighed.

"Actually, there is." I said, and they both looked at me. Kelly with hope, and Silvia with curiosity.

"Could you spy on Steel for me?" I asked as nonchalantly as possible. Silvia's face didn't turn to shook like I thought it would, she just looked even more curious.

Kelly's face though, oh, her face lit up with a psychopathic smile.

"I would love to" She said. We exchanged numbers to keep in contact. I made a group chat as well, with me Silvia and Kelly in it.

After that all three of us walked out of the bathroom like the bad bitches we are, making everyone look at us. And for once I didn't really care.

It was just the first day, and I had already made  two friends. And no one knew that I was an assassin yet. This was going great!

When I finally got home later that day, I decided to eat sushi. Let's just say it was delicious. After that I texted with my new friends for a while, and found out from Kelly that Steel had ditched school after lunch. She didn't know where he went though.

At around 10pm I got a call from the most amazing, wonderful, gorgeous, well mannered, Kyle. Please note the sarcasm.

"Why hello gorgeous!" I exclaimed with super face happiness.

"Shut it Shadow. Just listen-" I gasped dramatically, cutting him off and said,

"Shut it? How could you scoop so low! I though we were friends! Now I'll have to unfriend you on Facebook!"

He sighed. Very deeply.

"I don't even know why I put up with you" He said and I smirked.

"Ohhhh, that's because you love me!"  I replied.

"No I don't. Just listen to me for one second Shadow. I have a job for you. The gang Wolfs have some disloyal gang members that they want you to dispose of." I though about it.

"Could you send me the details?" I asked as if we were discussing the weather.

"No problem. Let me know if you'll take it." He said and hung up on me. Rude.
