Epilogue

The wedding was perfect. Mom decided to show up and for once my whole family was together and not fighting. Dad only stayed for a couple days and so did the boys. Lynn flew out early to pick out a bridesmaid dress with Mya, who is about to be engaged herself. I recently went with Easton to help pick out a ring that Mya would like. All I really did was choose the biggest, most expensive and ostentatious one I could find.

I watch the football players take the field. "I hate how nervous I get for him." I grumble to dad as I stroke my ever increasing stomach. "This can't be good for the baby, he's going crazy in there." I say, feeling his little kicks.

"Good God! Don't tell Truex that. He'd probably quit football all together." Kevin says, sitting down beside me.

The Detroit Lions are playing the San Francisco 49'ers and as promised Truex got my dad and the rest of the family a box to watch from at Ford Field. Kevin even drove up from Ohio, he and dad got along great at the wedding and have developed a friendship.

"I'd never tell him that. I'm lucky he let me even come to the game. He thought the flight would be, too much stress." I chuckle, thinking about it.

"How did you mange to talk him into it?" Kevin asks, truly impressed.

I shrug. "I had to agree to let him name the baby. He hasn't liked any of my choices." I reply, still frustrated with the whole naming debacle.

Dad nods his head. "I think thats for the best." He mutters, wincing at my name choices. Its been a constant influx of options from family, none have been helpful.

I roll my eyes. "I picked out good names." I argue, knowing he hates the names I picked out.

"Jagger, jet and Riggens. Those are good names?" Kevin asks, smirking.

I turn to him, offended. "You named your kid, Truex." I point out.

"Hey, that was my mothers maiden name. At least his name is meaningful. Although, I suppose Jet does mean, Jet." He teases.

I roll my eyes at his dad joke. "Well, it doesn't matter anymore. His name is going to be, Max Truex Marshall." I tell them.

"Its a good name." Kevin states, strongly.

"I like it." Dad comments, absentmindedly still watching the game intently.

"You boys just have to stick together don't you?" I huff. Honestly, I like the name. However, I will die before admitting it out loud.

"Pick better names and we'd side with you." Dad teases, kissing me on the temple.
