I feel movement next to me and groan as my stomach flips. I kick the blankets down and stagger out of bed to the bathroom. Throwing up endlessly, while trying to keep my hair from falling forward.

I sit back on the cold tile, getting a small reprieve. Truex walks in with a bottle of water, concerned. "You okay?"

"No." I answer, honestly.

"Can I get you anything?"

"A hair tie." I request. Knowing in a few minutes I'm going to be hugging the toilet again. I don't remember being this hungover in my entire life. What the hell was I thinking? My head throbs as I concentrate on not throwing up.
I feel my hair being brushed back and secured with a hair tie. The toilet is flushed and I wait for another bout of nausea to hit me. When it does Truex sits, rubbing my back and watching me. What the hell is he in here for?

"Go, away. You don't have to see this." I tell him.

"How much did you drink?" He asks, worriedly.

I lean back. "Too much." I reply, thinking of the shots I took, making my stomach clinch. "If you loved me you'd mercy kill me." I say, taking a sip of water.

"That's what I have to do to prove my love to you?" He grins, tiredly.

I nod and lean forward again, as I dry heave. When they finally stop I turn to him. "Go to bed. I'll be fine in a bit."

"I'll call the IV bar. They do in-room hangover IV's."

"An IV. Like a needle?" I question, stupidly.

"Yes, but it will make you feel better."

I nod. "I'll do anything."

Truex comes back into the bathroom minutes later. He puts one of his shirts over my head and carries me back into the room and places me on the bed. "They'll be here soon." I nod and close my eyes.

When I open them a man is standing over me, asking me to sign something. I do and he takes my arm, hooking me up to an IV bag of fluids. My head is still groggy from drinking and lack of sleep. I listen as he talks to Truex about football. I fall asleep and awake up sans IV and hear the television playing in the living room part of the suite. Deciding I need to shower and brush my teeth more than I need to see Treux, I make my way to the bathroom. Feeling surprisingly better than I was this morning. I shower quickly, noticing the ring on my hand. I remember last night and groan loudly as I wrap the towel around myself. Brushing my teeth twice and throughly, I am renewed. I comb out my hair and let it air dry as I get dressed in black yoga pants and a black tank top.

I open the bedroom door surprisingly hungry. Treux looks up amused. "Feeling better?"

I glare at him, "Never again."

"You're never going to drink again?" He asks, doubtfully.

"No, just never drinking without Mya. She knows how to stop me from going too far." I sit on the couch next to him bringing my legs up and putting my hands between my legs. Noticing the ring again. "What am I supposed to do with this?" I ask, bringing up the ring and looking at it.

"Wear it." He states, as his phone rings. He answers and I hear Mya on the other end and she's yelling. I smile, knowing she thinks our wedding was real. We've argued about it before, but my mom said she married my dad in Vegas and that it wasn't a legal marriage. I think she would know.

Truex ends the call and looks at me, "Hungry? Mya is hosting brunch in her suite."

"Starving. How mad is she?"

"Livid." He replies, seriously. I giggle as we walk to the door. I slip on a pair of black sandles and Treux holds the door open. "I was worried you weren't going to remember last night." He remarks, as we get on the elevator to go down a floor.

"No, I remember most of it. I don't know how I got back to the room, though." I admit. After the wedding is a blur, but I know we were drinking. He takes my hand as we leave the elevator and fiddles with the ring on my finger. "How long are we going to keep this up for?" He looks down at me confused. "The marriage." I clarify.

He knocks on the door and glares at me. "Forever."

I laugh at his seriousness. "Mya won't last that long. We'll need to tell her its a joke before the end of brunch or she'll flip out."

The door opens and Easton's bubbly face greets us. "The happily married couple!"

"Stop yelling." I complain.

"Do you even remember last night?" He questions, amused.

"Most of it." I reply, as I walk to the table seeing a pissed off Mya.

I can't help but grin at her. "Oh, stop. You love me." I state, hugging her. I sit in the vacant seat next to her.

"I can't believe you married my brother and didn't bother to wake me up for the wedding."

"That'll teach you to bail on your own party. Loser." I shrug, carelessly.

"Really? This is my lesson." I can see that she is upset, not only angry and I cave instantly.

"Okay, it was only a joke wedding. We wanted to think of something to get back at you for ditching us." I tell her, immediately seeing the relief on her face. I laugh. "Blame, Easton. It was his idea." I tell her, smiling.

Mya laughs, but its short lived when everyone in the room goes awkwardly quite. I look around, puzzled. "What?" I ask, glancing from face to face.

Becca is the first one to break the silence. "Ah, you're married."

I chuckle, "No, marriages in Vegas aren't real. Its just a thing tourists do for fun." Becca shakes her head, adamantly. I look up at Easton seeing his ashamed face, "You dick! You told me it wasn't real!" I yell.

"Yeah, I might've taken my revenge too far. I'm really sorry." He admits, suddenly realizing the gravity of what he's done and looking guilty about it.

I glance at Truex who is sitting right next to me. "We're married." I tell him, stunned.

"I know. I filled out the paperwork." He reminds me, angrily.

My eyes go big, "You knew too?"

"I didn't know you thought it was fake." He replies, looking like he wants to kill Easton.

Okay, I have to defuse the situation but I can't think of anything. I'm still confused. Frankly, I feel like the biggest idiot on the planet.

"Its fine. Becca's a lawyer she knows what you guys should do." Mya states, helpfully.

"I tried to talk sense into your brother last night at the chapel. He needed to have Briar sign a prenuptial agreement before they got married. He didn't listen."

"What is that?" I inquire. I know rich people get them, but I don't know the specifics.

"It protects him. Basically, you only get an agreed upon settlement incase of dissolution of the marriage. However, most Las Vegas weddings can be terminated with an annulment." She turns to us. "Since, you two don't have shared assets before the marriage, it would be quick." She shrugs.

I sigh in relief. "That's fine. I don't want his money anyway."

"I thought that only worked if the marriage wasn't consummated?" Truex asks, bitterly.

"Well, it was only you two in the room. You can say what happened and we'd have to believe you." Becca responds.

"Did we have sex last night?" I ask myself. I was naked this morning. I vaguely remember, it all comes screaming back to me. We definitely had sex last night. "Never mind." I comment, quietly.

"So, it would be a divorce." Truex states.

"Yes. Which, puts you in a vulnerable position." Becca reiterates. Clearly, wishing he would've listen to her in the first place.

''Wait, I don't want a divorce under my belt. Let's do that prenuptial thing, I don't want anything from him." I say.

"Annulment." Treux corrects.

"Yeah that. We can just say we didn't have sex. Right, Becca?" I ask, that's was what she was hinting at earlier.

"That would be lying to the court. You want to divorce me, get a lawyer and do it." Truex, answers for her.

"I'm not getting a lawyer, you get a lawyer." I argue.

"Why would I get a lawyer? I'm the one who wanted to get married." He points out.

"Fine! We'll stay married, but don't think for a second when you ask for a divorce later on, that I'll give you one. I will just say, Hey, remember that time when you wouldn't give me one?" I threaten. "Yeah, good luck with being married to me for the rest of your life." I reply, ominously.

He just shrugs and smirks back at me, irritating me further.

"You better call mom. She has called me a million times." Mya says, picking up her phone and muting it.

"Oh, shit. Your mom." I panic.

"My mom has nothing on me." Mya, responds upset.

"How is this my fault? Its Easton's doing." I say, shifting blame.

"I told you before! Marriages in Las Vegas are legal! You should've listened!" She shouts.

"You're never right about anything! Was I just supposed to take your word for it?" I respond. "Can I eat? Where's the food?" I question, not smelling anything.

"Its coming." She answers. "I guess, we're sisters." She states, bitterly.

"Well, don't sound so happy about it." I reply, sarcastically. "Your brother will come to his senses before long." I state, just as I hear Truex tell his mom that we got married last night. I groan, "Or not."

Truex turns to me, "Do you want to talk to her?" He questions. I shake my head no and scramble to get up saved by a knock on the door.

I don't hear the rest of his conversation as I open the door to racks filled with food and the two men responsible for bringing the goods. "Oh, thank you. It smells delicious." I comment, holding the door wide for them.

Truex stalks towards me smirking. "Are you afraid of my mother?"

"No, I just don't know what to say to her." I reply, honestly.

"She just wanted to congratulate us." He states, as he pulls me to him.

"She's not angry?" I ask in disbelief.

"Upset, not angry." He clarifies.

I wince. "Upset is worse than angry." I groan.

"Don't worry about it, shes happy for us."

Happy for us! Dear God, what the heck is happening? Its like I went to bed last night and teleported into the future several years. "Don't you feel at all weird about this?" I question, wresting with my own confusion.

"No."

"Its not a little sudden for you? Not once did you say to yourself, I better think about this?'' I ask, finding it hard to believe anyone would jump into marriage this fast, willingly or knowingly. "Oh, my gosh! Are you pregnant?" I joke, needing the reprieve.

He chuckles. "It is sudden, but no. I like the thought of you with me."

"Foods ready!" Mya shouts to us, and I step back from Truex craving some bacon.
