Blair POV.

   Tears start streaming down my face. I look at the girl in the mirror with disgust. God I'm a bitch. I stay in the bathroom until first period is over. I wipe the tears off my face and fix my makeup.

I walk to my second period, Art. I'm not very good at art but I do enjoy it. I've always found it very therapeutic for me. I walk in late and sit in a desk by a pretty small Asian girl. "Hi" I mumble sitting down. She jumps in shock, looking at me with wide eyes.

"Sorry did I scare you?"

"No, you've just never talked to me before."

"Emma, right?" I laughed.

"Yea." Her cheeks turn the slight shade of pink.

"I'm Blair" I introduce myself. Her head whips back and she laughs.

"I know, you are very popular" My eyes widen. I would say that I'm know from some people but I would not say I'm popular.

"Umm." I awkwardly laugh "I don't think so."

"Whatever you say." She laughs. "I hear all about the drama surrounding you."

"Like what?" I asked

"You and Grayson and the whole shabang."

"Oh," I mumbled embarrassed. "That I hookup with Grayson while him and Ashlyn got back together? Would you believe me if I told you I didn't have sex with him and I didn't know him and Ashlyn got back together."

"So you guys didn't have sex at Zack's?" She asked curiously.

"No" I mumble.

"And who said Grayson and Ashlyn were back together?"

"Ashlyn." This earned another laugh from Emma.

"They aren't back together."

"They aren't?" My eyes widen.

"No, she definitely made that up."

"Oh thank god" I let out a breath of relief. "Can you keep a secret?" I ask. I didn't know why but I felt like I could trust her. It was nice talking to someone who wasn't biased also.

"Of course" she genuinely smiled at me. I told her everything that happened between us. From the friends for a night, to the dancing, to his room, the kissing, the no sex, and the late talking. This goes on the whole period. I also add in the stuff between what happened with Kate, and what happened with Natalie.

"Wow." She said at the end. During my rant she would give her two cents every now and then. "I think you should forgive Natalie." She says. "I think she was just caught between a rock and a hard place, and didn't want Kate to get upset." I nod in agreement.

"Yea I will." I mumble, "I just need some time."

"Yea, I get that." She says, "Hey! Why don't you sit with me at lunch today." I nod my head yes.

Class is over and we walk to the cafeteria. Usually I would meet Natalie at the lockers, but I go straight there. Emma leads me to a table by the window. Eyes widen when they see me approach. "Hi!" I smile at them, and they just look at me with shocked faces.

"Guys, don't be weird" mumbled Emma. "She's sitting with us today." If their eyes could get wider, they did. I sit down next to Emma. It only took them a few seconds before they all start chatting. "I'm going to go to the bathroom." Emma said, getting up and leaving me alone.

I could see everyone glancing at me, I pick up my phone and start scrolling through it. A wave of sadness hits me when I look at my screensaver. It's a picture of Natalie, Kate, and me all smiling and laughing with ice cream on our faces.

I look up and scan the cafeteria. Here I am, a girl sitting at a table full of people, in a crowded cafeteria. But somehow still alone.

Emma come backs and sits down next to me. I give her a warm smile, and we start to talk. I learned a lot about her, she was adopted, straight As, honors society.

"They are so getting back together" my eyes snap to a girl across the table. Alex.

"Who?" Emma asked stuff her face with food. Alex turns her head and looks at me embarrassed. I raise an eyebrow confused.

"Umm, Grayson and Ashlyn."

"Why do you think that?" Emma asks.

"Well, just look at him." Said a girl next to Alex, Sarah. We turn our eyes and look at Grayson. I'm surprised to see him staring at Ashlyn. She is sitting at the same table as him, but at the opposite side. I know the look in his eyes all too well, it's yearning.

"They are just so in love." Sarah sighed dreamily. Alex eyes widen and she gives Sara a slight nudge with her elbow. Sarah looks at her. Alex nudges her head at me, Sarah looks my way and her eyes also widen. "I'm sorry" she mumbles.

"I didn't sleep with him" I say emotionless.

"Oh yea, we know" Said Alex. "She just means because the whole love triangle thing."

"What whole love triangle thing?" I ask

"Between you, Ashlyn, and Grayson" says Sarah, "you know, the whole competition of who should be with who thing."

"What competition?" I ask again

"Grashlyn vs. Glair" Alex states like it's obvious.

"I'm really confused" I say dumbfounded.

"It's all the school talks about, everyone sees the way you and Grayson act towards each other."

"We hate each other."

"There's a fine line between love and hate, Blair" says Sarah. "Everyone knows that." I roll my eyes, I hate that statement.

"You said it yourself, he's in love with Ashlyn. We just saw him staring at her from across the table." I say

Alex looks behind my head and laughs."Yea, but when he's not starting at her, he's looking at you."

My eyebrow raises and I turn around. To my shock, Grayson was looking at me. When he notices I'm looking at him, he rolls his eyes, gives me the finger, then turns his head towards Noah.

"Asshole" I mutter and the girls start to laugh.

"I'm definitely team Glair" smiled Sarah. Alex nods her head in agreement taking a bite of her sandwich.

"I always root for the underdog" says Alex. Sarah gasps and hits her arms. "Sorry." Alex mumbles sheepishly.

I give her a smile, showing that I am unbothered. "You aren't using Emma to get closer to him right." Sarah narrows her eyes, and Emma groans.

"What?" I gape.

"I don't know it does seem suspicious. Grayson and Ashlyn break up and you suddenly are at our table, friends with Emma."

"Am I missing something?" I ask genuinely confused.

"I don't think she knows" says Alex. I turn my head to Emma, who is looking down embarrassed. "Blair, what's Emma's last name?"

"Ummm" I try to think, I'm embarrassed when I realize I have no idea.

"It's Heart" says Sarah. My mouth drops. I knew Grayson had a lot of siblings. I knew he had two older brothers in college, a sister in college, and a younger brother who was a sophomore. The three older siblings were triplets. But no sisters in our grade.

"I'm his cousin" said Emma. Ohhhhhhh. "Adopted" she added on.

"Oh my god" I said "I promise I had no idea, oh my god, I shit talked him to you. And you're his cousin, I'm so sorry."

"It's fine" she laughed "I know he can be a little shit sometimes." I laugh too. I continue to talk to the girls for the rest of the lunch.

Econ is thankfully over and I am now walking to my last class. Natalie is already sitting down when I walk in. I walk over and sit at my desk next to her.

"Where were you at lunch?" She asks

"I was with my friend Emma."

"Didn't know we were having other friends now." That earned a laugh from me and her shoulders relaxed. "Are we good?" She asks.

"Yea, we are" and I meant it. She lets out a huge sigh in relief.

"Oh thank god" she sighs. "You won't believe what I heard" then she starts filling me in on all the latest gossip. I stop paying attention when Grayson and his friends walk him.

Grayson scowls at me, Carter gives me a nod, and Noah gives me a small smile. I'm completely embarrassed of how I acted earlier in front of Grayson and Noah. I turn around in my seat to face Grayson.

"I-" I'm about to say sorry when he cuts me off.

"Blair I just really don't fucking care" he snaps. Embarrassed I turn around and huff. Natalie looks at me with questioning eyes, that I ignore.
