After walking passed a few more doors Jacob opened one on the left. It looked similar to all the others but when he opened it I noticed that it was an office.

The room was mostly full of bookshelves with a desk in the middle and a few chairs.

Jacob took the chair on the other side of the desk and motioned for us to sit in the chairs on the opposite side. I sat down and Electra went to take the other chair.

I growled and pulled her toward me to sit on my lap. I didn't want to let her get too far away from me

Jacob let out a breath and looked at me. "So you're probably wondering what's going on?" He says and I nod

"Alright, So you're probably wondering how Electra is my sister, so I'll start with that" he pauses

"It was 17 years ago and our small family pack was ambushed by a bunch of savage rogues" he sighs "I remember it like it was yesterday"

"My mother, Electra and I managed to escape with the guide of our father" he pauses "we found ourselves in the woods, with no where to go"

"We walked for a full day until we came across a small shack. We stopped there and all I remember is my mum crying and hugging us both"

I heard Electra sob a little and held her closer

"We thought we were safe, but one of the rogues found us and my mum managed to lure it away" he thinks for a moment before continuing "she was gone for almost a full day before I had to go looking for her, Electra was running out of formula and I didn't know what to do"

I see him tear up a little "I wasn't well trained in my senses and eventually became lost" he sighs "I was in the woods for three days until someone from the Forest Pack found me"

He looks at Electra "by the time I told them what happened and they took me to the cabin you were gone and all the scents had disappeared" he let's out a frustrated growl "I thought the rogues had got you, when word came to me that our mum was buried nearby I didn't even think of who had buried her

His story almost felt unbelievable "so you didn't go looking for Electra?" I asked

He looked at me, I could see the tiredness in his eyes "I thought she was dead and because of my age the forest pack let me live with them" he sighed again "I would have went looking if I knew she was alive"

I was still unsure of this story but I chose to believe him

He looked at me, studying me "so now you're probably wondering what this place is?"

I nodded

He continues "this is a facility that is 5 years in the making" he pauses "we are situated underground, we have 20 cells to hold our captives and money from nearby packs"

I hold Electra close "you still haven't explained what this place is" I state

Jacob clears his throat "we hold rogues captive and try to get them to change back into their human form" he pauses looking at us both "we use chemicals to force the change and iron to stop them changing back"

He looked like he had more to say "after what happened to our pack I wanted to rid the world of rogues" I see him tear up slightly "it doesn't always go to plan but we have had some success"

I raise my eyebrow at this, a lightbulb moment "you're the reason we have seen more rogues lately, aren't you?"

Jacob nods "yes, we started officially bringing in rogues 6 months ago and a lot of them caught on and fled"

I take in everything he says, we hadn't even heard anything about this facility and here it is. I understood why it was kept secret, what they did here probably wasn't completely ethical and some packs would just order the rogues to be killed

I look at Jacob "so are we captives here?" I ask. I didn't have any chains but I felt like he wouldn't let us go anywhere

Jacob chuckles "of course not, we just locked you up to calm you down, you are free to go whenever you want" he smiles "your friends are down the hall"

I lightly lift Electra and place her on her feet "well we should be going, we have to get to the shack and get back to our pack" I say as I grab Electra's hand and start to leave

Jacob stands "wait... the shack burnt down 8 years ago" he says, I look back and see the sadness in his eyes "most of this part of the forest was caught in a large fire and there's nothing left of it"

I look at Electra and notice she's looking at the ground. I pull her into a hug "what about where our mother is buried?" She sobs a little

Jacob sighs "it was also lost in the fire. The area became unrecognisable and it was lost" he says sadly

I look at Jacob "I will tell our pack about this place and ask for their help, I'm sure you could use it" I nod at him

He nods back "that would be a great help" he writes something down on a piece of paper "here is our number. Feel free to call just bare in mind sometimes it doesn't work and Electra?" He says and she looks at him "I hope you can come visit sometime soon"

She nods and we begin to leave, the exit clearly signed and the others that came with us are standing at the door

We almost get to them before Jacob calls out "Electra wait" he runs to us and stops before us "here" he hands Electra a small pink blanket

He smiles slightly "this was yours, I took it from the cabin when the forest pack took me back there"

Electra smiles "thank you"

We all make our way to the exit and Jacob waves goodbye

I look down at Electra "let's get home before your parents begin to worry" I look at her and see her looking back at the entrance "don't worry we will see him again I'm sure of it"

She just nods and we make our way back to the pack

Okay so this chapter took me far too long and I'm not entirely happy with it. >.< prob boring and I really need to read and edit it....
