I make a bee line for my clothes. Electra seems to do the same, I didn't even know what to say to her after what happened and I hoped she'd just forget about it.

I change quickly face away from where Electra went and lean against the tree with my arms crossed. I must have a death wish, doing something like I did, it would be even worse if someone saw and I can only hope Cade never finds out

I hear Electra clear her throat behind me, it startles me a little as I was so lost in thought I never heard her walk up to me. I turn to her, notice she has some leaves in her hair and resist a smile

"So, umm" she starts to talk, she sounds nervous "thanks for coming out with me, it was fun and maybe we can do it again sometime?" She sounds hopeful and I'm not sure what to say

"I, uh" I rub the back of my neck nervously "of course"

She scans my face "did you not have fun?" She looks upset as she looks me in the eyes

"It's not that!" I stumble on my words a little, she seems so calm after what I did "I mean, it was fun" it's all I could get out at the time and I could feel my inner self just rolling their eyes at me

"Good, then maybe we can go again tomorrow?" She smiles, expecting an answer

Without wanting to sound rude I mutter a "sure" she begins to walk away, she turns around and looks at me

"I'll see you then" she smiles before she runs off

I stay for a moment, to think it over and call myself an idiot. I shake my head and walk back to the house. As I walk to my room I notice Shauna leant against my door smirking at me, I smile back at her and when I reach her I go in for a hug

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I ask as I pull away, I had no messages on my phone from her

"I've had a rough morning, I figured we could have some fun before training?" She winks at me and I grin

I growl in Shauna's ear and unlock my door, as I walk inside I notice Electra down the hall, she's looking at me and when she sees I'm looking she quickly opens her door and goes inside

I shrug it off, Shauna and I have our fun and are done before training starts. We make our way there together, both grinning at each other and messing around

We reach the field and notice everyone is there already, Cade gives me an unimpressed look and then starts his speech

"Alright, now that we are all here I can explain what we are doing today" he pauses and looks at everyone "we haven't shifted into our Wolves for training in a while and with the increased amount of rogues I figured every training session from now on will be shifted" he stops for a moment and lifts up a sheet that was covering something

I knew I had smelt blood when I walked over but I wasn't prepared for this, below the sheet was a dead rogue, his neck clearly snapped and he looked like he was fresh

"This rogue" Cade points down at it "was in the northern woods this morning"

My mind gets lost in thought, Electra and I were in those woods this morning

"Our border patrol luckily found it before it struck two members of our pack" he pauses again "we don't know who the two were, their tracks had faded by the time the rogue had been killed, but we need every one of you to exercise caution when out in the woods"

"These beasts are bent on killing without second thought"

I stopped listening and had a look around the pack. Someone had seen us out in the woods, that someone would most likely have wounds from the rogue attack. How did I not see them or hear them?

My eyes scan the people around me, until I come across a pair of eyes staring back. Matt. He send me a wink and I notice on his arms the bite marks and scratches. He saw, at that very moment I knew he had to of seen us and he had covered for me. I needed to talk to him after training and explain myself before he starts spreading rumours
