"Bubba!" I heard as I jolted awake. My breathing was heavy as I looked around the room that was definitely not mine. I knew exactly who's room this was, but the question was, where is he?

The door flew open as Riley stood in the doorway with a five dollar bill in his hands. The look of disappointment in his face was evident as he stared at me.

"Where's my tooth?" He whined as he threw the dollar on the floor. I stared at him with confusion as he climbed onto the bed.

"What?" I asked as he sat beside me.

"My tooth is missin'. It ain't on the sink no more. So I looked in my bed, and I found just a dollar," he said in a very disappointed way.

"The tooth fairy took it," I stated. His mouth fell open as he looked at me with shock.

"No! I want my tooth! Go beat her up, Ally!" He screamed as his eyebrows furrowed together with anger. I grabbed his hands and rubbed the backs of them with my thumb.

"Lee, the tooth fairy takes your teeth and gives you money for them in return. She did that to me, too." Then, without warning, his face turned to pure horror as his hands flew up to his mouth, and he screamed.

"She's gonna rip my teeth out!" He cried and jumped off of the bed and slammed the door shut. Just then, Greyson jolted up off the floor. I stared at him in disbelief as he sat on the floor and rubbed his face with his hands.

"What are you doing?" I asked as he looked at me with that 'are you kidding me' face.

"Sorry that I couldn't sleep in my bed with you doing a f*cking spread eagle in the damn thing," he said tiredly as he turned himself from side to side and cracked his back.

"Oh," I mumbled slightly embarrassed. It's not my fault that I like my space.

"Who slammed the door?" He asked as he looked at me. I took a moment to look at him and couldn't help but giggle.

His hair was in all different directions, and one eye lid drooped more that the other. His cheeks were red, and you could see outlines on his face from the pillow he had slept on.

"What?" He questioned as he rubbed his eyes with his fists like Riley does. I really wanted to just 'awe' in that moment.

"You just look funny in the morning," I said as I chuckled. He rolled his eyes and then pointed at me.

"I'd look in the mirror, missy."

"Fine. I will," I said as I poked my tongue out at him.

I got out of the bed and wandered into his bathroom. I looked at the mirror and instantly froze. Hot damn.

"I'm a mess," I spoke loud enough for him to hear. I heard him laugh, and moments later, he entered the bathroom.

He stood behind me and smiled. I watched as he played with a strand of my hair.

"A hot mess," he replied with a shy smile and then kissed the side of my cheek. I froze, but then recovered and smiled back at him.

"Shut up, and get out. That's weird," I said as I pushed him away. He laughed and walked out. I closed the door and walked back over to the mirror.

I put water on my hands as I washed the black mascara smudges away from under my eyes.

"Alex. What are you doing to yourself?" I muttered in a way that wasn't sad, but it wasn't happy. I actually liked this Alex. She was a lot nicer to be around.

After I was done mentally criticizing myself about the red spots on my face and my slightly greasy hair, I threw my hair into a bun and then walked out of the bathroom.

Greyson was making his bed as I was coming out. I stood in the door way and watched as he straightened the blankets in a not straight way. The blankets were smoothed out but they were positioned in an angle.

"I'm guessing you don't really make your bed that often," I spoke. His head whipped around as he scratched his head.

"No. Usually I don't have to," he admitted. My smile faltered as I thought of the number of girls who helped make his bed mess, "because I never tried to impress anyone until now." I scrunched my nose making him laugh loudly at my embarrassment.

"Don't laugh at me," I said in a voice that was supposed to be intimidating, but instead sounded like a kitty cat. He laughed even louder at my failure, and I kinda felt like throwing a lamp at him.

"You really are like a little kitten," he joked as he laughed. I crossed my arms and pouted as the sudden feeling of dread of my old self hit. Were people ever gonna take me seriously?

"And you're a hoe," I said, saying the first thing that came to mind. I mentally scolded myself for such a idiotic comeback and walked to the door. I grabbed the door knob and was about to turn it until two hands spun me around.

"Sorry," Greyson apologized as he held onto my shoulders. I frowned and thought about whether I should snap back or go all soft like I planned. I have to do it for Ash, Karissa, and, as much as I don't want to say it, myself.

"No. It's my fault. I'm just stressing out over everything lately," I said smoothly. It was the truth. Everything was getting on my nerves, and I was taking it out on him. Come on, Alex. Get your crap together.

Greyson stared at me with curiosity.
His hands slid down my arms until his hands were holding mine.

"Well, I expected more of a fight, but I'll take it," he smiled. I rolled my eyes causing him to chuckle.

"Now, I'm gonna leave," I said as I let go of his hands and started backing away, "because I have blood on this shirt and breath that smells like a cows ass." I finished and scurried out of the room. I heard him chuckle as I headed to my room just down the hall.

I entered my room and shut the door. I couldn't help the smile that stretched across my face as I thought of how well that went. Good job, Alex. You aren't a total bitch. I mentally congratulated myself as I stalked into the bathroom.

I sighed as I stared at myself in the mirror. Why'd I have to get scratched on the face? Why not the arm? I pushed the thought away as I went in to get a shower. It was very much needed.

Afterward, I tried to situate my hair in a bun, but failed. I gave up and grabbed some powder to just go over my face with and try to get some of the redness away. Then, I did my eyeliner in a wing and put mascara on. After looking at myself for a good five minutes and realizing no matter what I did, I'd still look like crap, I decided to just throw on a pair of jeans and a grey sweatshirt. I ran back into the bathroom to put on some deoderant and brush my teeth.

I casually walked out of my room and into the hall, not expecting to see what I had.

Standing on the opposite side of the door was Greyson in a pair of dark wash jeans and a white t-shirt. In his arms was Riley in a red shirt with overalls over it holding white roses. I froze as I watched Riley hold out the flowers and smile cheekily.

"What's this about?" I questioned as I took the roses. Greyson boosted Riley up a bit higher before he started sliding down Grey's body anymore than he already had.

"This is me asking you on a date," Greyson answered with a smooth attitude. I furrowed my brows at him.

"And Riley is here because?" His smile fell as he chewed on his lip.

"Uh, I needed some..support?" Greyson said unsure of himself. I chuckled and shook my head at him.

"I would have said yes, anyway. You don't have to bribe me with Riley," I stated as I laughed. To say he looked happy was an understatement. His smile was so large, I thought it was going to fall off of his face.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the doorway and through the house until we were outside. I wondered why it was so warm out in December. I blame global warming. Once we were out of the house, he dragged me to his car. I didn't get the chance to marvel at exterior, but the interior was more gorgeous than Marilyn Monroe.

It was in that moment that I realized my not so much gorgeous appearance.

"Uh, Greyson. Should I change?" I asked as I watched him buckle up Riley. He didnt even look at me before shaking his head.

"No. You look fine," he said simply. I just nodded to myself before asking another question.

"Shouldn't he be in a car seat?" He sighed and then looked back at me.

"Nah. He'll be fine." I would have argued, but I didn't want to ruin this moment we had going on between us because who knows how long it would last. He could say something to make me snap and we'd go back to our old routine, and I really don't want that happening.

After he finished situating Riley, he got into the drivers seat, and we were off. To say that I wasn't surprised by the clicheness of our date wouldn't be a lie. Somehow, I seen this coming. Isn't every cliche first date in a park.

Maybe not.

Once we had gotten Riley out, we headed in the direction of the swings. Riley took off in another direction toward some kids his age. We sat down on the old swingset and watched Riley as he tried to make conversation with a little girl. Now, I could really see the resemblance between he and his brother.

"So why the park?" I asked as I rocked back and forth on the swing next to Greyson.

"Well, my mom wanted Greyson and Riley bonding time. Riley wanted Alex and Riley bonding time. We made a compromise." I chuckled and shook my head.

"So Riley wasn't a bribe?" I questioned. He shook his head and smiled.

"Oh, no. He was." We both laughed loudly. We carried on conversations about random things. It was genuinely nice.

"So, what's up with you lately?" Greyson asked as I gripped the chains that held the swing together.

"What do you mean?"

"You're so different. Like you're here, but you're not," he said with hesitation in his voice. My smile faltered as I held the chains tighter.

"Do you have a problem with that?" I questioned. He shook his head quickly, as he could most likely sense the uneasy and upset feeling I had at the moment.

"No, no. That's not it at all. I'm just..confused. Is the person you were a week ago or the person you are now the real you?" He asked with all seriousness. I gulped and felt panic rise in me. "Or are you just as confused as I am?" I took in a deep breath and bit on the inside of my bottom lip.

"I'm not quite sure." But really, it was the latter. My biggest mistake wasn't changing in the first place, it was believing I had changed in the first place. My lies had become so real, that I had started believing them, too.

______________

Aye homies. That was quite a chapter aye?

I know im probably gonna get so many questions on why is Alex so nice to him. Why did she change so suddenly. Well, Alex is trying to change for what she believes is her brother and Karissa, but she knows she needs to change for herself.

Anyway, how was that chapter? Did ya like it? Diiiiiiid ya? I hate it when in books the girl and boy both wake up happily together and everyone looks like gods and goddesses. Who else is a major bed hog?

Anyway, I was having spasms bc my book is #1 in werewolf again and I was like YEESSSSS.

Is anyone annoyed by the fact that its not cold? I live in Pennsylvania and it should be snowing, but instead my brother is and basketball shorts. Like dude. Go put a shirt on.

OMG guys. I got a freaking laptop for christmas and Im super happy about it! It is so much easier to write my stories on here than my iphone!

Am I the only one who gets a shower at night bc I legit feel that way reading some of the comments😂 I haven't really put her showering in there because usually I don't write about her going to bed. It's not like I intended for her to seem showerless I just thought you'd assume she did it before bed or smn😂
