I didn't get out of bed until I absolutely had too. Since I wasn't due for work until one, I had slept until nearly eleven. Thoughts from last night had left me blushing and feel the undeniable pain lingering.

"Are you awake Dash?" Hayden stuck his head in his bedroom as I groaned.

"Yes," I rolled over and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. "How many times did we go? I lost count."

"Hmm probably seven times?" He chuckled and leaned over to kiss my forehead. "I have some food downstairs for you before I leave for class."

I pushed myself out of bed and felt his hungry stare on me as I tried to block out the fact that we had gone for so long. Damn I was tired.

"I'm going to take a shower, feel free to join," I trailed while swishing my hips.

"If I wasn't about to leave," he sighed while picking his bag up. "I'll have dinner ready when you come back from work."

"Thank you!" I called as I grabbed a towel before turning to heat the water up.

"Babe?" Hayden called as I had just stepped into the shower.

I stuck my head out and kissed him quickly to keep the water from hitting him. "Yes?"

"There's Tylenol on the counter and you may need to put makeup on your neck-"

He jumped back a step before I could grab his arm. He did not.

"Anything else?" I tried to not giggle as I felt the bruise along my neck.

"Yeah, your ass may still be red from last night."

"What!" I screamed and turned around to see there was a handprint on it. When the fuck had he spanked me? "Hayden Blaze, what on earth?"

"I remembered you seemed to enjoy it, don't worry I didn't do anything else." His laughter filled the room before he stepped out to go to work.

"Fuck," I groaned and changed the water temperature so my ass wouldn't feel like it was on fire. Damn him.

My appearance looked more presentable about twenty minutes later when I pulled on my shoes. Hopefully this shift would go by fast, I just wanted to be lazy today.

My phone buzzed as I saw one of my classmates text me about an assignment that was due soon. Shit, I completely forgot about that.

"Fuck my life," I groaned and headed out towards my car. There was never enough time to get work done and try to have a life in college. Good thing I wasn't doing Grad school anytime soon.

The restaurant was slow when I walked in thank goodness. It would give me a few minutes to collect my thoughts before putting on a smile for the customers. If I was really lucky I may be able to work in part of my assignment before it was due.

"Dasha, you're needed over here," one of the waiters called as I rolled my eyes. Already?

"Coming," I grabbed my pad and pen before forcing a smile on my face. "Hello, what can I get started for you two today?"

The two men gave me their drink orders and went back to looking at the menu as I left.

"Hey Dash?" Another coworker of mine came to my side as he began piling food onto the tray.

"Hey Dean, what's up?"

"Not much, works been slow all day."

"Good," I sighed as he chuckled and balanced his tray.

"Rough start to the day I'm assuming?"

"Actually the opposite," I teased as he walked out just shaking his head.

I bit my lip to stifle a giggle wanting to come out and grabbed the drinks before I could go back to reminiscing over last nights events. No one at work knew my personal life in full details. Just the fact that I was engaged and kept quiet about things to avoid the news spreading since I came across as a private person.

I came back and dropped off the drinks before ducking behind a corner to check my phone.

'Miss you already babe, enjoy work or try too! Xo'

'Miss you too sweetheart! Have fun in class... no hitting on students now. xoxo' I teased while sliding it back into my pocket to wait for a snarky remark. My ass may definitely get a beating for that tonight.

I knew Rose and the guys wanted to hang out again sometime soon, it was just hard trying to make everyone's schedules work. We all had our own personal lives to attend to and trying to figure out what was next when we graduated in a few months. Hard to believe time had flown so quickly.

My phone buzzed as Hayden replied, 'funny babe. Then again my only student who's worth hitting on isn't here so...'

I realized he meant me and blushed before putting my phone up. There would be plenty of time for playful banter later.

"Dash!" Dean called.

'Time for work,' I thought and settled back into my routine for the remainder of my shift.

When I finally got off I texted Hayden and told him to get food wherever because I was going straight to the library to do my assignment. I had about two hours to get it done which hopefully would be plenty of time.

Setting my bag down, I started up my laptop and pulled out my notebook for reference to the notes.

There were a few other students working on papers and such as I became engrossed in my work.

Hayden called me as I was nearly finished with my assignment, "hello?"

"Hey sweetheart, I have some dinner saved for you in the microwave. It should stay warm in there."

"Thank you, I'm almost done," I reported back as I continued working.

"Do you work tomorrow?"

"Not sure, I can't remember," I sighed. Too much was running through my head right now for me to remember anything past a few hours.

"That's fine love," he chuckled, "we'll figure it out when you get home."

"Sounds good," I hung up and clicked the submit button before crossing my fingers. The Internet was always iffy wherever on campus I went so sometimes it wouldn't submit my stuff right away.

The green check mark showed up saying it was sent as I began to pack my things. There were only a few people left in the building as I walked out. Finals weren't anywhere near being here so it made sense that not too many were staying late.

"What do you think of taking Professor Stone for history?" I heard a young voice ask.

Turning I saw two girls sitting on a bench as they waited for the bus to come take them to their apartment.

"No, he's boring. Take Professor Blaze. Everyone gushes over how attractive he is and all, definitely take him."

I couldn't help but shake my head slowly at how silly the convo was. Granted that had been Rose and I our freshman year.

"Isn't he dating someone though? I heard he wasn't single."

"Who cares right? You could always convince him otherwise... I bet the girl isn't that great compared to what a college girl would be,"

I jammed my earbuds into my ears and began blasting Paramore so I wouldn't hear the rest. They didn't even know the story! How dare they assume things when they didn't even know what was going on...

"Breathe Dasha, just breathe," I shook while trying to unlock my car.

It took me a few times before I managed to calm down and just focus on getting out of the cramped parking lot.

"They don't know any better, they're just stupid girls," I reminded myself while gazing at my engagement ring. If only they knew...

Hayden wasn't in the living room when I walked in so I assumed he was upstairs showering. I threw my clothes in the washer and grabbed a towel to drape around my body so I could freshen up a bit. Dinner would have to wait being as my appetite was nonexistent at this point.

Jasper came rambling into the bathroom as I washed my face and began to turn the shower on.

"Hi baby boy! Want to shower with me?" I cooed and picked him up before plopping him in the water, he was always in need of a bath it seemed.

Jasper sat content as I stepped in minutes later and washed off quickly before turning to clean my dog as much as I could.

"Hold still," I murmured when I got the shower off and wrapped myself back in the towel while searching for another one.

He wriggled out of my grasp and took off running as Hayden appeared out of nowhere and chuckled. "Hey love."

"Hi," I sighed and tried to swallow the irritation I still had going. "Is he drying himself on the carpet?"

"Probably, but don't worry about it," Hayden brought me to him and kissed my forehead. "How was work?"

"Fine, I just forgot about that assignment until halfway through and... Well it's done," I shrugged.

"Everything okay? You seem mad."

"Just heard some girls talking at the library about you... And they made a comment regarding whoever your girlfriend was and how she wouldn't be as amazing as them." I rolled my eyes and tried to keep walking to get some clothes on.

"Dasha," he spoke quietly as I dropped the towel and threw on underwear and a longer t-shirt.

"I know... I didn't say anything. It just set me off that they would think they're better, you know? Maybe it's a girl thing, to be this jealous."

"Sweetheart, I get jealous too. Don't you think it drives me crazy at school when you look stunning and I see guys checking you out from across the room? I hate that I can't even touch you in public at school. Sure girls will hit on me but I'm not worried, you get way more attention than I ever will."

I ignored that last part because I begged to differ. Pressing my lips to his, I elicited a half smile. "You'll always be the most attractive man to me Hayden Blaze."

"I'm glad you think so," he chuckled, "now let's get your dinner heated up. Shall we?"

**Sorry for the delayed chapter! My brain wasn't working and I couldn't come up with anything. I appreciate the comments on the last chapter! So let's keep the simple questions going shall we? What grade are y'all in? Or what year for college if you're still attending school. I'll be a junior in college this year!**
