To say we had hit the honeymoon stage again but this time as a married couple was accurate. It has only been a month in, but God I could not get over the fact that Hayden is my husband and soon to be father. We finally finished decorating Ryder's room and it made me so happy every time I walked past it. Airplanes was the theme for his room so the background looked like the sky with different planes dashing through the air.

His grandparents had gotten him some stuffed toys that were almost overflowing the crate we had for him. Ryder was definitely going to be spoiled. The only thing we really had to watch for was when the dogs decided to hide under his crib or try and sneak a toy out and into our bedroom.

"Bandit!" Hayden clapped his hands to get her attention as I heard her shimmy her butt under the bed. "You have so many toys that you're allowed to chew on. Thomas the train is not one of them."

Giggling, I slid off the bed and helped Hayden corner her while extracting the plush Thomas the Train from her mouth. "Bandit," I grabbed her and kissed her pouting face. "Go attack your Mr. Hippo. Where's Jasper?"

She perked her ears when I mentioned her brother's name and looked towards the living room. He was probably sleeping on the couch or chewing on a bone he had managed to hide from his sister.

"Let's go find him," I cooed and walked out to see Jasper guarding the pink hippo we had just bought them while gnawing on a bone. "Jasper."

He eyed me and continued chewing while shifting away from the hippo.

Moving the toy to the opposite side of the couch, I handed it to Bandit and watched her begin to chew on one of its feet.

"I think you have this mother thing down perfectly," Hayden chuckled and wrapped his arms around my belly. "Ryder is going to love playing with them too."

"They're either going to love him or hate him when he starts pulling on their ears or something."

Hayden's phone began ringing with a Facetime call as we saw Darina was calling. We had promised her as soon as we had gotten over the fact that we were now married she could come visit.

"Hello Darina," Hayden answered and sat down between the dogs.

"Guess what."

Before Hayden could even get a word in she started talking again. "Is Dasha there?"

"Right here!" I called from the chair and waved when Hayden switched views.

"Great. I have good news! I'm wanting to come visit during spring break because I got an early acceptance into San Jose State! And I know that's not super far from you."

"About an hour if you hit traffic early on. When does this mean you're graduating?"

"Next semester. Yes they do have December graduations for my highschool, so I'll just miss my last semester of Senior year."

"You want to miss out on prom? And senior pictures in the spring?"

"They're telling us we don't have the funds for a prom currently. And I'm doing fall senior pictures! It'll be prettier in Duran with the trees changing colors."

"I guess if mom and dad are okay with that," Hayden shrugged. "I'm proud of you D."

"Thanks," I could tell she was smiling on the phone. "So... can I come visit this March for my spring break? I don't have to stay the whole time. But I wanted to check out the campus and stuff."

"That's fine," I answered and Hayden nodded.

"Perfect!" She giggled and thanked us before hanging up.

"When is her spring break?" I asked Hayden and pulled up my calendar on my phone.

"No idea, but probably the second to last week of March. So we have about six weeks to prepare for a teenager being in the apartment."

"Oh come on, she's not that bad. Darina is a sweetheart and is just ready to live on her own I think. I'm sure your parents are ready to have a house to themselves again."

He shrugged, "I have no idea what they plan on doing. Good thing Nina will still be close in case they ever need something." Getting up he stretched and went to grab the dog's leashes. "Do you want me to join you for your checkup today?"

"It's okay. Just a quick check in to make sure I'm still good and going over all the small details about hospital stuff. You probably wouldn't be paying attention," I teased.

"Probably not," he put Jasper's harness on first as he bounced up and down to go outside. "Okay hang on boy, we have to get you buckled up first and then Bandit."

I went into the bathroom to rebrush my hair and teeth before leaving for my appointment.

Ryder was moving around while I stood in the bathroom and I groaned when he decided to shift more on my bladder. "No Sir, you do not get to make me pee myself today. Move over," I shifted my hips in hope that he would shift back but he stayed put.

"Boys," I sighed and grabbed a spare pair of pants in case it happened. The first time thankfully was right when I got home from the grocery store but I wasn't expecting it and nearly panicked thinking my water had broke.

Dr. G greeted me as I had my knees up and stopped fidgeting with the paper gown they gave me. By now I had gotten over the nerves of someone checking me down there, but it didn't mean I wouldn't try to at least cover more of my thighs with the paper.

"How are we feeling?"

"Not bad. I have more energy this week."

"It'll fluctuate, especially once you get closer. I heard you tell Amy that you finished your nursery?"

"Yes," I held my phone out to her with the photos I had taken.

"That's cute. I'm sure he'll want to be a pilot after having a room like that. Now," she pulled up images and things to look at on the computer. Have we decided on a due date?"

"I know you had mentioned that somewhere within the first week of May. Hayden does have finals but he has someone to watch if things change."

"May fourth or fifth is probably where we're looking at with how you're progressing. If anything changes we'll re-evaluate. Do you have any other questions for me? You have the list for your baby bag in case your water breaks before you come in for your due date. And I believe right now, which I'm not sure if it'll change, but you're allowed to have two people in the room while you deliver."

"It'll be Hayden and my mom. His mom said she'll wait until Ryder is out."

"Perfect. Well you're all set from my standpoint. I'll see you in a month unless anything changes okay?" She squeezed my hand before collecting her stuff and walking out.

Sitting back up, I slid my clothes back on and walked as quickly as I could to pee before Ryder made me do it on the floor.

"You need to be nicer to me," I teased him while unlocking my car and getting in. Thank goodness it wasn't hot just yet. I couldn't imagine having him in August. May wouldn't be too terrible.

Readjusting my mirror, I noticed a car parked not too far behind with someone intensely watching the doctor's office. Maybe they were just waiting...

"No," I stayed put and averted my gaze when I recognized him. How did he know I was here? I couldn't go home... hell he probably knew where I lived.

Dialing the number that Tyson had given me of his cousin, I waited with my breath held until he picked up.

"This is Nate."

"Nate, it's Dasha Blaze."

"Hi Mrs. Blaze, what can I do for you?"

"I just got into my car from my checkup with my Doctor and I noticed Patrick in his car... he's like two rows away but can see me. I... what do I do?"

"I'm going to text you an address of a person you can go see. Her name is Sarah. She can help you if he follows you all the way there which I doubt he will if he knows you're on the phone. Meanwhile, I'll send some info out to her so she can alert people. Do I need to call Hayden for you?"

"No, I," I looked back up and noticed his car was gone. "I... don't even see his car anymore."

"Go ahead and go towards Sarah's. If you don't see any cars following you before you reach her street, you can get back on the highway towards your apartment okay?"

"Thank you Nate."

"Just doing my job Mrs. Blaze." He hung up and a few moments later I got the address that was about fifteen minutes from where I was.

Looking up again, I still didn't see any signs of Patrick and almost questioned if maybe it had just been a similar car.

"No, trust your gut. He knows you're here and that you're pregnant. Just go to Sarah's and we'll figure out the details from there."

Driving all the way to Sarah's I didn't see any cars following me and sighed. This couldn't continue like this. We moved here to prevent this...

"Just take the highway and go home. We'll call Nate again later and see if he found something," I told myself and clutched the steering wheel tightly. Looks like the honeymoon phase had officially ended.

**3 months later and there's finally something to write! So sorry guys. I have two more chapters after this one and then the epilogue and a "bonus" chapter... just know it'll blow your minds!**
