four days later

Rachel sat up exhaustion and pain was all she could feel at the moment she remembered what Ira had said "You will be in a lot of pain for 2 to 3 days just a warning if you don't wan't to do this." Rachel groaned as she clutched her neck and soon she heard a voice in front of her. "We were wondering when you would wake." 

Rachel looked up and saw Marmo and Ira looking at her with worry. Ira sighed "I thought you would need rest but you were out of it for at least 4 days." Rachel's head shot up before clutching her neck in pain. Ira quickly looked up "You really need to stop moving your neck for at least a while cause remember what I said 2 to 3 days and then the mark should be fully healed." Marmo smiled fondly "I always knew you two loved each other you would always just deny it." 

Ira huffed in annoyance "Shut up Marmo I get it you were right was that what you wanted to hear." Marmo smirked "absolutely." Ira huffed before noticing Rachel's confusion on her face. Ira chuckled "Your probably wondering why Marmo isn't angry about the fact that your here." Rachel nodded "Well you see I told her last night so she already knows and I explained basically everything." 

Rachel looked over at Marmo. Marmo smiled softly "And you don't need to worry about Bel either he knows as well I just wanted to come in a check up on you...the marking can be very painful." Marmo said while looking over at with annoyance and anger. "Hey I warned her what would happen and she yelled at me about taking to long."

Marmo chuckled "Wanted it over with did you." Rachel grumbled "Like he said he was taking way to long so I wanted him to hurry up." Ira looked over at Marmo as he stuck out his tongue "Told ya so." Marmo sighed fondly "okay little bro." Ira blushed as realized that Marmo saw the picture of when the three of them were younger Bel had his arm draped over Ira's neck while Marmo had her arms wrapped around him in a hug.

 Ira sighed "I miss when we were kids where everything was perfect no war no doing orders just being together always." Marmo placed a gentle hand onto his shoulder "I know you do Ira I do to it's been way to long since we did sibling bonding time together." Rachel looked between the two with confusion "You three are related?." Ira looked over at Rachel and laughed "No we just got along so well that we thought of each other as brothers and sister even tho we aren't blood related."

Rachel smiled "Oh that's really sweet." Ira chuckled softly "It is...we just haven't had the time to spend quality time together...I miss it a lot." Marmo smiled sadly "I'm gonna talk to Bel I'll leave you two be...glad to see your awake." Rachel smiled as the door shut. 

Ira silently got onto his bed and gently placed his hand against her cheek worry etched onto his face "You really worried me." Rachel smiled softly "I'm sorry Ira." Ira gently kissed her. Rachel let her arms fall around his neck once Ira pulled away he silently leaned down and gently peppered kisses on her neck. 

Rachel blushed softly "Ira.." Ira looked up at her with softness in his eyes as well as concern. Rachel smiled "I love you Ira." Ira gently smiled "and I love you my Diamond." Rachel rested her head against Ira's chest as Ira gently wrapped his arm's around her waist kissing her on the head before lifting her into his arms and walking out of his room and over to the couch before lowering her gently down onto the couch.

Ira sat down beside her as he wrapped his arm's around her waist pulling her close to him as he nuzzled his head into the crook of her neck causing her to blush at the feeling of his breath against her neck and the feeling of his soft teal blue hair. "So soft I just wan't to touch it." Rachel looked at Ira's hair before moving one of her hands to his hair and gently started to stroke it. Ira had one eye open as he looked at her through his hair smiling fondly "you like it a lot don't you."

Rachel blushed but nodded her head while his head was still rested in the crook of her neck. "My bat ears are actually a whole lot more soft." Rachel looked worried "but aren't they sensitive." Ira chuckled "Yes but you are a acception but please do be gently." Rachel smiled fondly as she gently started rubbing his bat ears. Rachel stared in surprise "I feel like I'm touching a cloud." Ira chuckled fondly "I told ya."  

Rachel smiled with excitement "Can I play with your hair and your bat ears everyday." Ira looked over at Rachel "Don't get used to this but possibly every once in a while you can." Rachel smiled happily "YAY!!." Ira smiled fondly To see his Diamond so happy was the one thing he intended to protect and he intended to protect that girl with his life even if he died trying.
