With another trip into the castle by way of trunk, Yoongi snuck you back in your room. You ran to the bathroom and wet down a cloth in the sink. Yoongi used your mirror to try and straighten out his shirt. He frowned at the tears in his clothes.

"I kind of liked this shirt." he muttered.

You put the cloth to his face, cleaning his wounds. He winced and hissed a little, but you didn't stop.

"I'm okay, you know." he said. "It's nothing a shower can't fix."

"You saved me." you said. "It's the least I can do."

He softly wrapped his hand around your wrist and pulled it down. "Don't worry about me. I'm okay. Honest."

You tried to fight back the tears starting to creep up into your eyes. "I was so scared..."

His arms enclosed around you. You stood there for a moment, breathing in his dusty musk – a mix of sweat and dirt from the fight, and his natural woody scent.

After a few minutes passed, he broke away and looked you in the eye. "It's going to be all right, [Y/N]. I'll make sure of it."

"How?" you asked. "He's here somewhere."

Yoongi's eyebrows crashed together. "What?"

You told Yoongi about the threats. Being chased down in the trees on the castle grounds. The letters. The poison.

"So he's been..." he stopped. He grabbed your shoulders firmly. "You stay here."

You held onto his arm, not wanting him to leave. He looked down at your hand, then smiled and softly patted it.

"Get yourself cleaned up." he said, nodding towards the shower. His finger traced along your neck, causing it to sting. "There are cuts all over you. Get a hot shower. I'll bring you an ice pack, okay?"

With a nod, you let his arm go. He sped out of the room.

It was eerie and empty without him there. You didn't want to be alone.

Should I call Taehyung again?

You shook it out of your head. What was he going to do? Watch you take a shower? Awkward.

You went out and grabbed your pajamas and left them on the sink. You looked in the mirror. You had scratches up your neck, and bruises forming on the side of your face. You got bruises all the time from Taekwondo, but this was different. These were wounds from someone who was trying to hurt you.

And they would come back for you.

A hot shower was a good idea. Even if it was just a moment to settle your mind. You turned the hot water on.

Blood poured from the shower head.
