Sorry for the wait - Author

I was in the bathroom looking at my stomach. I had my shirt up, so I could see my stomach better. 'Have I gotten bigger?' I asked myself. 'I was with Dr. Umi a couple of days ago.' I told myself. 'I think I'm just overthinking about it.' I told myself and put down my shirt. I opened the bathroom door and walked to the living room. Mom was on the phone while dad was asleep on a chair.

I walked to the couch, grabbed the remote and started to change the channel. "Okay, thank you." Mom said and ended the call. "Who were you talking to?" I asked her. "I was talking to the homeschool teacher." She told me. "Oh, what did she say?" I asked her. "He said he's going to be here tomorrow and can't wait to meet you." She told me. "Oh, I was going to wait until I got bigger." I asked.

"Yeah, but sometimes homeschool teachers' schedules are booked. I told he can start next month." She told me. "Yeah," I said thinking. Then dad woke up. "What happened?" He asked, confused. "Me and mom were talking about homeschool teachers and stuff." I told him. I told him. "Tomorrow." Mom told him. "What time?" He asked. "Around 1p.m" She told him.

He hummed and got off the chair. "Oh, you have something in the mail." Mom told me, as she handed me the mail. "Who is it from?" I asked. "Look." She told me and left. I looked at the mail. 'It's from Katsuki.' I told myself. I opened the mail as I walked in my room. I laid on my bed and pulled out the letter. I looked up and I forgot to shut the door. I got up, shut the door and began to read the letter.

"I guess it's alright over here. All we do is practice, which we haven't been doing at school. Although I'm more sore." Katsukils letter began. "Also, I missed you." You smiled. "I want to be there with your check up. Also it's annoying that I have to stay with these idiots." You giggled. "I just can't wait to come back home and be with you. I love you and miss you." -Katsuki

I smiled when I finished the letter. "I miss you too." I said out loud. Then someone knocked on the door. "Who is it?" I asked. "It's your mom." I heard her. "Come in." I told her The door opened and she came in. "Who are you talking to?" She asked. I was confused. "What?" I asked. "I heard you say, "I miss you too."." She told me. "Oh, I was reading Katsuki's letter." I told her.

"And it said that he missed me and I said that I miss him too, but out loud." I told her. "Oh," She said. "Are you going to get a letter back?" She asked. "Yeah, " I said, nodding. "What time do you think youll be done, because I'm going to hang out with friends." She told me. "I don't think it'll be long." I told her. "Okay. Just tell me when your done so we can go to the post office." She told me.

"Okay, again, I dont think itll be long." I told her. "I know." She told me, smiling. I smiled back. She then left. I then got off my bed, went to my bag, grabbed a notebook and ripped a piece of paper. I then went to my desk, sat on my chair and grabbed a pencil. 'What should I write?' I asked myself. Soon I got an idea and wrote it down,

"I miss you too, And I'm sorry that you have to stay with those "idiots". I bet you're sore. Wish that I was there to help your soreness and snuggle you. And I'm sure that you're going to be a great father. I can't wait for you to come back." - Y/n. I then stopped writing. I need an envelope.' I told myself. I then got off my chair and left my room.

I went to my mom's room and knocked on the door. "Come in." I heard mom's voice. I opened the door. "Do we have any envelopes?" I asked. "We should." She said getting up. She walked past me and walked into the kitchen. She went in one of the drawers and got out a box of envelopes. "There here." She said, as she handed me the box. "Okay." I said, and she left. I then grabbed an envelope and put the box back.

I walked back to my room, grabbed the letter and put the letter in the envelope. 'What is the address of the camp?' I asked myself. I then grabbed the envelope that Katsuki's letter was in, looked at the address and wrote it down. After I was writing down my address, I walked back to mom's room and knocked on the door. "Come in." I heard her voice. "Do we have stamps?" I asked as I walked in. "It should be with the envelopes." She told me.

I then closed the door and walked to the kitchen. I went to the same drawer as the envelopes and began to look for the stamps. When I found it, I grabbed one and put it in the corner of the envelope. "Are you done?" I heard mom's voice. I turned around and looked at her. "Yeah." I said, nodding.  "Okay, let me get my stuff and we can go." She told me. I nodded and left.

I walked to my room, put on my socks and shoes, and put on my coat. "You ready?" Mom asked me. "Yeah." I said, grabbing the envelope. Me and mom then got outside and went in the car. "Does dad know we're leaving?" I asked her. "No, he went back to sleep." She said, starting the car. Then we left the driveway. After 10 minutes we made it to the post office.

We went in and waited in line. "You can go back in the car. I know what to do." I told her. "Okay." She said and left. After 5 minutes, I went to the corner and handed the letter to the person behind the counter. I then left the post office. I went to the car. Once I got close to the car, I noticed mom wasn't in the car. I grabbed my phone and began to call her.

"Hello?" She answered. "Where are you?" I asked. "I'm at a new store. It's a baby store. It's called "Post Alley Kids"." She told me. I then began to look for the store. "Found it. I'll be there." I told her. "Okay." She said and ended the call. I then walked to the store. I walked in and began to look at the clothes. "These clothes are cute." I heard mom. "They are cute." I agreed.
