We are in the car and been driving for an hour.

My eyes keep looking at my ring as Aiden holds my hand.

The black band is something very different, but the ruby in the heart means so much to me. Together we choose this ring because to us this is how we started out by Ruby. It was the safe word that started us having a dom and sub relationship that turned our hearts into love. Those little diamonds on the side really are just icing on the cake.

It is also a one of a kind ring from what the older lady had said. Aiden paid for it and then slipped it on my finger and kissing my hand.

Every since we left the store, the two of us have been in this happy bubble since. I hadn't bothered touching my phone and just enjoying this time with Aiden.

I figure soon we will announce it but together we can figure out how we will do that.

"So you wanted to get married soon."

Aiden hums and nods, keeping his eyes on the road. "I would like to yes."

"Do you have a date in mind?"

"What about in a weeks time?"

My mouth drops open. "That is super fast. With everything going on will we even be able too?"

"If we have to go to the court house I am fine with it. I would like for you to have a dress at the least."

I hide how happy it makes me because I would like that too.

"Why in a weeks time though?"

"It would be officially six months from the day we met."

A wide smile graces my lips.

"That would be perfect. There is just one thing that could be an issue?"

"What is that, Cookie?" Aiden short glances at me with us at a light.

"I have not met your parents."

Aiden takes a deep breath and releases it slowly. His hand comes off the wheel and his fingers rake through his hair.

"Nervous?" I watch him, as his hand goes back to the steering wheel and we take off again.

"Not nervous. They know all about you, it is just I barely talk to my parents honestly. Like I said before when we talked they gave me things and I never wanted for anything. It is just they were all about work and then their own world when I grew up. Mom comes in to the company only when she is tired of doing nothing to make wedding dresses."

I nod and listen to him.

"Do they love you?"

"I am sure they do in their own way maybe. It was clear that I was never planned but they couldn't do anything to rid of me once finding out they were having me." Aiden shrugs.

"I am sorry."

"I'm not. I seen how parents are supposed to be and treat their kids by how Owen and Emily are with you and Kelvin." Aiden smiles softly.

"So would you want them at the wedding or ceremony? How ever it may be we do it."

"Honestly, it wouldn't hurt my feelings because the way my parents can be they will insist on a prenup and I don't want one with you. Because I know this is forever for me Cookie. If something happens and you want a divorce or leave me than take it all because I know there will not be a me left."

My heart is torn between melting or breaking. Melting because it tells me how in love with me he truly is. Breaking because I could never leave him, Aiden is the type of man I would fight for and work things out with him should we ever disagree on something.

"I am never leaving you." I speak softly.

Within a short time, we arrive home and Aiden unlocks the front door. He insists on getting our bags and for me to just get comfortable.

First thing I do is go to where I can see the construction workers have been here already. Walking out the back door, I can see the foundation and main walls are almost built for the pantry.

How in the world can they have done so much in just a days time? Since Aiden said they started this morning at sunrise when we were talking on the way home before the previous talk we had about our wedding date and his parents.

"They will be ready to knock out the doorway here and install the door for the pantry tomorrow. They couldn't it with us being gone. Within tomorrow or the day after the pantry will be done and ready to fully go with the electric and all." Aiden speaks up behind me.

"They are very fast."

"A group of thirty guys are fast. It is the best though and getting paid over triple the normal asking price they gave. It seemed to motivate them to get it done sooner than a weeks time." Aiden smirks.

"Efficient for sure but it's nice they are doing it so quickly when there is so much other things to do around the city."

"Well after this, they will be going to the house and fixing it. Then you can figure out what you want to do with it."

"Sale it." I don't even hesitate my response.

Aiden nods. "I'll have a realtor on it once the repairs are done."

"Good. I got one question for you though."

Aiden spins me to where I face him completely and his arms around me. His eye brow raises in his silent question of 'What?'

"How do we tell everyone else we are engaged?"

Aiden hums and guides us back inside.

"Hadn't thought about of that."

I laugh and sit on the couch. "Okay let's figure out dinner food since it will be easier then we can see how to tell them."

"Wait, will your dad be mad I didn't get permission first?"

"No, he pretty much gave it to you that first dinner where you guys meet. If you asked then Dad may pop your head like his does Kelvin for the duh questions." I snicker, making Aiden laugh and nod.

He has seen it over the months we have been together and spent time with my family.

"One thing is for sure."

"What's that?" Aiden looks at me when I jump off the couch.

"We need to shop for groceries and soon. You have food in your freezer and fridge but it's not really much other than breakfast foods or minute meals just from the short glance I have took back and forth from time to time when we have stayed here before I moved in."

"I know how to cook but never took the time to do it. Which hence the minute foods." He laughs.

"We will fix this situation and I have the perfect person in mind." I smirk.

"Is that so?" Aiden gets up from the couch.

"Hmm." I sway my hips and move toward the staircase.

"Is she about this tall?" Aiden motions his hands and I nod.

"Long dark hair, the prettiest eyes ever to see with emotions that roll through them? Oh and lets not forget the sass to last a lifetime." Aiden chuckles as his voice takes a deeper tone.

"Very true I guess. Thing is this perfect person who could fix your food issue isn't hungry for actual food though."

"Neither am I. I am hungry for a sweet nerve bundle that goes from soft pink to a nice swollen deep pink. Maybe a dark pink ass since I have yet to mark it red."

"Guess you have held back to much." I sass as I slowly been moving up the stairs.

Right now dinner and announcements can wait. I want to celebrate today with Aiden and him alone in our sex dungeon.

"Present, Kitten. We are celebrating tonight." Aiden gets that deep smile and smirk.

"This is what I'm saying about time!" I squeal and dash for the sex dungeon now to grab the key.
