"Shit!"
"No, how did I not see that?" I muttered annoyingly to myself, staring furiously at the screen of my phone.
Playing subway surf was always thrilling for me, like being extremely focused on the path, and when it gets too fast reaching some certain stages and speed you get out of control.
Starting all over again... Ryan entered the tent, while he bent his back.
"You are not asleep?" He asked, I nodded in response to him, then he turned around and zipped up the tent,
"Are you guys done outside?" I questioned him, squinting my eyes at him.
"I want to sleep, few of them are still outside.
"Ohh!" I murmured sitting up straight, still holding on to the sleeping bag while I gawked at Ryan as he sat on the floor, then he stretched his hands to the blanket near to him.
"Are you sleeping on the ground?" I asked him and he glanced at me.
"Do you want me to share the sleeping bag with you?" He asked amusingly, throwing a nasty smirk my way, waiting for my response.
"No!" I blurted out.
"I thought so too,"
" I think you'll be good on the ground." I faked smiling at him.
"That's cruel," He pouted, and I laugh.

"Sorry," I pushed out my lower lips at him, and he beamed at me.
Ryan spreads the blanket on the ground and then laid on it beside me while I was in the sleeping bag, staring at him.
'This was all Brielle's fault, and now he had to sleep on the cold floor,' I frowned, suddenly getting irritated by Brielle's stupidest mentality.
I slowly lay on my back, Ryan turned his back to me while he slept on one of his sides.
"Good night," I muttered in a low, breathy tone.
"Goodnight, Ley," I heard him mutter while I sucked my lower lips into my mouth.
I turned my head to the side and switched off the lamp, and everywhere was dark immediately.
I could still see the fire burning outside, but I highly doubt if they could see us inside.
Furthermore, I tossed my phone to the ground, nervously playing with my fingers.
Likewise, I brought my right hand to the floor and almost flinched at how cold the grounds were, and a pang of guilt filled me.
The sleeping bag was spacious, and I'm pretty sure that it would fit the two of us.
'Should I tell him to share the bag with me?' I thought, my head clouded with one million reasons why I shouldn't share the sleeping bag with him.
"Ryan!" I called softly, but didn't hear any response from him.
'Was he fast asleep?' I wondered.
That was fast...
"Yes," I heard him mutter, then I felt him turn around and faced me.
I quickly switch on the lamp and turned my gaze back to him.
"What is it?" He asked, gazing intensely at me.
"Uhm!"
"Uhm! I was thinking if you could share the sleeping bag with me, there's still a lot of space here," I told him while he just stared at me.
"I'm fine, Hailey, you should get some sleep," He responded and was about to turn around and sleep.
"No,"
I reached out to him, My hand brushing against his shoulder, then I pulled my hands back immediately while Ryan stared at me.
"The floor is freezing, and the blanket isn't thick enough for you," I started feeling worried about him.
"So, you want us to share the sleeping bag?" He asked again like he was giving me a sort of warning ahead, but my lightheartedness didn't let me see that or get any hint from him.
"Yeah," I responded and zipped down the sleeping bag covering me, then shifted my gaze at him with an approving nod.
Ryan gave me a half-smile then he raised himself slightly from the ground and entered the sleeping bag with me while I shifted, but this was when I realized that Ryan was so much bigger in physique than I had thought.
I shifted slightly, trying to avoid any bodily contact with him, but it seemed almost impossible.
Then, Ryan slept on his left side, creating more between us.
"Sleep tight," He whispered.
"Sweet dreams,"
I zipped up our sleeping bags, then I turned around also sleeping on my side, backing him, then I switched off the lights.
I closed my eyes shut and tried to sleep, but I couldn't, I wanted to roll on my other side, but I was cautious, so I wouldn't wake Ryan.
Likewise, I don't expect anything to happen once Ryan and I were in the tents, but that was the last thing I could think of if he had purposely brought me here instead of hanging out with his friend.
This was one of the most uncomfortable nights I've ever had, sleeping beside my stepbrother was insane, I should have insisted on sleeping with one of Brielle's friends instead of agreeing to what he had said.
A slight sigh escaped my lips and I decided to roll to my other side which I did and opened my eyes, his back was still facing me and even if I wanted to see his face with the way everything was dark in her, I wouldn't be able to.
Then suddenly, Ryan turned to his other side facing me and I held my breath wondering what to do, and closed my eyes shut, in case he was awake while I will pretend I was just sleeping. We were so close now, except we weren't touching and contacting each other bodies, but I could feel the intense heat radiating from the both of us.
Out of my curiosity, I slowly opened my eyes and noticed he was breathing out lowly, I managed to see his fair face in the dark. The faint lines around his eyes and between his brows gave him that distinguished look that made him so sexier than I could imagine, well, I've always found my stepbrother to be sexy right from the day one I set my eyes on him.
I bet the way I was breathing would fan over his cheeks, the way he seems to be sleeping peacefully.
When I returned home after leaving two years back, I could recall the last sexual affection we had, I noticed how hurt and pained he was when I told him I was leaving, but I thought he would get over me and forget about what we had in the past.
Coming back home and meeting the different side of him actually crushed my heart, I wouldn't lie about that, but his sudden change towards me, afterward, I was intrigued myself.
I was so happy about it, but then I found out he still had feelings for me...
The main reasons I've been trying not to explore more new sexual feelings about him. We are brother and sisters even though it wasn't by blood but legally speaking, we are still brother and sister and I didn't want that to go down the rail because this was so, so important, especially for mum's marriage.
I shouldn't let any lust in me eat my heart up... I sighed and gazed at his face again, how could the jerk sleep peacefully when I'm having a mind battle here on my own.
The way Brielle and the female classmates in my school worshiped and fantasize about Ryan's ridiculously good looks. The other girls whispering beside the lockers or hallways about how they want to have... Even if it's just a one-night stand with him. I was aware of every fucking thing.
I wasn't blind or being stupid, I just never thought of acting on my attraction because of a crazy family relationship line holding me back.
The way he kissed me yesterday, him washing my hair, carrying me in a bridal style when I hurt my ankle... everything began to flash back to my mind that had me all jumbled and aching now when I had no right to be.
"Are you going to stare at me all night?"
