Walking hurriedly in the school's hallway knowing I was a bit late to school because I slept later than usual thinking and replaying about what Ryan had spurted out of his mouth to me last night, I couldn't just brush it off easily.

Mum was the one who dropped me off a few moments earlier, and Ryan… well, he left home earlier than I expected.

I heard a loud distance noise, which was like cheering someone up when I darted my gaze forward and saw some students gather and shouting, I saw other students who were not among the crowds, running towards the direction of the clustered students to know what was going on.

“Sandra, I, guess it's a fight!” Two girls scooted past me running towards the direction of the other students as I got curious myself, disregarding my anxious state of being late to class this time around, but who cares?

'Let me just take a sneak peek at what is going on,' I told myself, drawing near to the crowded teenagers who were 'oohing' and cheering whatever stuff that was going on.

Occasionally, I wonder where all these teachers are when a case like this goes on.

I got closer to the crowded teens and couldn't see what was going on in the middle like these students gathered around to form a circle and for someone like me not that tall, I decided to leave when I couldn't see what was going when I heard someone shout, 'Ryan stop!' anxiously.

'I heard right, didn't I?' I questioned myself, stopping in my tracks at the mention of Ryan's name.

Without thinking, I pushed past the crowds hurriedly. “Excuse me!” I breathed out trying to make a way for myself hoping it wasn't the same Ryan, I know.

Students adjusted for me to pass annoyingly, until I got to the center to see what was going on.

My jaw dropped, and there was Ryan, beating someone around his age to a pulp. I nearly fainted at the dreadful sight, Ryan's fists were beginning to stain with blood as he kept on hitting the poor guy on his face.

The person who Ryan kept hitting was struggling to get free as his face was dissembled by Ryan's punches.

'What the hell was going on?'

'And why's Ryan in a bloody fight? Not giving a damn that he might be suspended or expelled when taken to the school authorities,' I gasped when another jaw ripping blow from Ryan's fist crashed on the boy's face as he groaned.

No wonder, the captain said, he could do anything he wants and gets away with it.

“Ryan!” I shouted like a siren, so terrified and horrified at the same time, I guess my voice was so loud enough for everyone to lower their voices.

'What happened and why is anyone not trying to stop him?' I thought, basically staring wide-eyed at Ryan, who was high like he was on hard drugs.

Not having an accurate answer, I turned my gaze to the side to see Brielle with arms crossed over her chest staring at me. She can't even endeavor to stop Ryan from the deadly act he was diving in.

I ran closer to Ryan, squatting to his level since he tackled and pinned the weak guy to the floor and sat on him giving him heavy cruel punches.

“Ryan, please stop this madness!” I shouted at him, dragging him by his school shirt.

He tried to wriggle me off him, and I began to hit his shoulder repeatedly.

“Ryan, please stop! I beg you,” I pleaded, almost sobbing, I couldn't take in this monstrous side of him.

“Ryan!!!” I screamed when he gave the guy another blow before he backed off and stood up aggressively from him, while the guy looked unconscious for a second.

I gasped as he shot me a sharp gaze, this time around everyone had become silent, wondering what was going to happen next.

Maybe, I would be the next victim or prey, I can't place my guess.

I tried to breathe evenly as I stared into his bloodshot eyes, he gave me a long icy look and turned around and began walking away as the students quickly cleared the path for him like the dominating devil he is.

I glanced at the weakened boy who was finding it difficult to breathe when I noticed Brielle was about to leave too.

“Brielle!” I called after her, everyone had begun dispersing to their various classes.

Brielle turned around slowly, giving me an odd look, I couldn't decipher, as I walked closer to her.

“What did this person do that made Ryan so angry?” I asked with concerns.

“The question should be why would Ryan had to beat his ass up because he said he wanted to take a hit on you,” Brielle throw back at me while I furrowed my brows confusedly at what she said.

“What?” I questioned, feeling lost.

'So, Ryan beat him up because he wanted to take a hit on me, I don't get,' I thought frankly, trying to do some thinking immediately.

“I don't understand what you meant by that,” I voiced after not getting a precise coast, she better be clear and goes straight to the point, I'm not ready to start solving any riddle talks.

A slight scoff escaped Brielle's lips as she took a step closer to me, her eyes squinted at me.

“Then you should ask Ryan yourself,” She sneered and turned around flipping her hair to the back, and walked away leaving me completely confused.

I turned my gaze back to the guy who was trying to get up,, and I noticed there was no one there to help him.

So, I walked closer to him and stretched my arms to him. “ Hey! Let me help you up,” I offered as he looked at me and hesitated for a while, I gestured to him to take my hands adamantly before he nodded his head finally and accepted my hands.

I pulled him up, and he coughed out as blood dripped from the side of his lips.

Luckily, for him, I guess his nose wasn't broken, I could only imagine what he would have said or done to Ryan for him to be beaten up madly this way by Ryan.

A question I would like to unravel, but this time… I'm getting my answers from Ryan.

I don't give a fuck anymore!

Furthermore, I needed answers, especially the one he left me hanging and brooding over about since yesterday.

That's so insane…

“Sorry!” I muttered when the guy groaned clutching his chest with his right hand while I placed his left arm over my shoulder to support him, so, he could walk until we get to the clinic where he would receive treatments.

I entered the canteen a bit late for the break and hoped, Ryan will be there with his troupes, and so be it.

He was sulking moodily in his seat with his group of friends who were trying to speak with him.

Brielle was seating close to him, but she was speaking to Kyra.

I felt irritated looking at him as I began to get angry, memories of what he had done made my blood boil with rage.

I fisted my hands and released them almost immediately before marching toward him with a sigh.

“Ryan!” I called, standing in front of him as Brielle turned to shoot me a sharp gaze, but I ignored her.

I was here for Ryan…

“Ryan!!” I called out again, getting annoyed with his nonchalant attitude.

He looked up at me, and pulled his gaze away from mine, looking elsewhere without saying a word.

“Ryan, are you deaf?” I burst out suddenly as he snapped his gaze towards me while I swallowed the lump in my throat.

Oops! I shouldn't have said that.

“What did you just say?” He questioned venomously while I rolled my eyes.

“Now, that you can hear me, we need to talk,” I expressed crossing my arms over my breast while a slight scoff escaped his mouth.

“I'm busy!” He replied nonchalantly again and looked away, making me furious as I moved closer to him.

“Busy?” I questioned him with a raised voice, not minding I was in countless curious students that will be staring at us.

“Busy? Do you think I'm not busy too and would want to waste my precious time trying to speak with a dickhead like you?” I fired at him with wide eyes while I heard some people gasp.

Ryan shot his cold eyes at me and stood up, while my heart drummed hard against my chest, but I won't show him how scared I am of him right now.

I won't give him that satisfaction.

“Hailey!” He started in a deep voice that made me shudder, while he didn't break his eye contact with me.

“Make you what, huh?” I dared him, he moved closer to me without giving me an alarming alert as he grabbed my arm and began dragging me out of canteen.

“Ryan, let go of me!” I begged, trying to peel off his harsh fingers wrapped aggressively around my upper-right arm away.

“Ryan!” I cried when he pulled me into the empty hallway and kept on walking while my heart hardly beats with fear.

Soon enough, Ryan opened a door to a classroom and pushed me inside, freeing my arm then locked the door behind him when he got in.

I coughed trying to catch my breath and took a quick glance around and noticed the class was empty… Just me and this son of a bitch.

He started walking closer to me when I gazed at him, his hazel eyes dilated a shade darker as he fixed his gaze on me while I incautiously moved back.

“Ry-Ryan!” I stuttered before realizing I got stuck by a desk.

Ryan covered the distance between us, trapping me between the desk, his hot breath fanned my cheeks doing harmful threats to me.

“Speak!” He demanded coldly as we both gazed into each other eyes while I opened my mouth to talk, but no words could form out.
