After all that's just happened, I felt I was due for a visit back home. Sadly not Arkansas or Texas but Wyoming.

I missed my little family and as of right now, FaceTimes weren't cutting it anymore.

"You like camping right?" Rory asks. He's about to be four years old.

"Never been." I shrug.

"Lie! We've been on several camping trips Rose." Matt corrects.

I purse my lips and ponder. "You know what...you're right." I remember.

"Yes and I completely remember you having a meltdown over us not letting you keep that rabbit we'd spotted as a pet." Mom pours me a glass of wine.

"Right!" I laugh a little. "I didn't speak to you guys for weeks."

"One thing your sister could do was hold a grudge." Matt smiles at Rory as he finishes putting together his lego pieces.

"Ok ok enough about me, you making friends at school?" I giggle picking up Rory.

He shrugs, "Not really but I have one...that's all I need." He fidgets with my sweater drawstring.

"That's right baby, and it's only the week of you being at this new school." Mom reminds.

"Yes it is." I softly shake his little belly as he laughs.

"We we're thinking about camping this weekend..."

I struggle to focus on mom's voice as pure disgust fills my nostrils.

"Did you just open some meat?" I look back at Matt at the kitchen island.

"Yeah why? I wanted to grill today." He chuckles.

"How could you even smell that?" Mom frowns before smiling down at Rory.

"I don't know." I get up putting Rory down.

"Do you think we could play uno soon?" He asks.

"Uh, I don't know we'll see."

"Could you drop by the store real quick, pick up some potato salad?" Mom asks.

"Ok." I nod grabbing the keys. Perfectly fine with running an errand. I just wanted to get away from that smell.

I drive to the store cruising with the windows down as No Doubt plays.

I really enjoyed driving especially with a good playlist. I don't mind traffic, I'm pretty patient unless I really had somewhere to be.

Once I get to the store I grab the potato salad and a couple of other items my mom texted me.

I pass by the pharmacy section grabbing some pain relief.

The pregnancy tests sat close to them on the shelf. I don't know why I'm picking one up. I just stare at it, reading the box.

"Rosalina?" Someone calls.

"Oh...hi." I greet Sevan.

"How are you?" She chirps pulling me into a hug.

"Oh." I blurt in surprise. "I'm good...how are you?"

"Great great! I'm getting married." She laughs in pure bliss, flashing her million dollar ring.

"Congratulations." I smile.

"Yeah the date's been set, April 8th. Next month, I'm a little nervous but it's about time- I hope it's not weird..." She looks at me concerned.

"Weird? Why would it be weird?"

"Given you and Jacey used to hangout..." She says.

"No no, not at all. I'm happy for you." I lied, shifting in my stance.

"Good in that case, I'll send an invitation and- wait...are you expecting?" Her big blue eyes look at the tests in my hands then back at me.

"Oh well, I don't know really. More so suspecting." I nod.

"Wow! You met someone?! Who's the guy?" She smiles.

When did she become so sweet.

Guilt swelling up in the pit of my stomach and it becomes harder to look her in the eye.

"No one special perhaps an old friend." I nod.

"Oh? Well I wish you the best really. It was so nice to see you. What's your social? I'll send an invite through there." She gets out her phone.

"No it's fine really, thank you. Nice to see you as well." I nod before putting the tests in my basket and walking away.

I went through self checkout, making sure I thoroughly but quickly scanned everything.

She's so nice and I couldn't allow myself to think it was fake because she was so genuine.

She's completely oblivious to the fact that if I am pregnant, Jacey's the father.

Screw that though, given the circumstances and the way we rarely used protection. I wouldn't be surprised if I was pregnant.

He wouldn't have to know though because I'm not keeping it. I don't think I'd want to abort it necessarily.

I'll endure the birth just because I knew what I was doing. I could keep it from my parents too...possibly.

I'm weighing out all the options on the drive home, not even sure if I'm positive.

There's just a gut feeling.

I didn't take a morning after pill either just because it had been so long since I was with him.

"Here you are." I smile setting the groceries on the counter.

"Thank you Rose." Matt smiles, unpacking the bag.

The tests stayed stashed away in my purse and I snuck off to what used to be my room. It's now the guest room.

I took off my coat lying it down on the dresser. My shoes come off and I grab the bag going to the bathroom.

I pull down my pants, sitting down on the toilet seat beginning to pee.

"Fudge sticks." I mumble.

I'd forgotten to open and take both tests.

I'm an idiot I know.

I hold what was left of my pee in before doing the rest.

Opening both tests I managed to get pee on the both of them.

One told me how far along, the other was just a standard positive or negative.

I set my timer ten minutes as that was how long the results would take to show.

The box is obviously false advertising because it only took me five minutes.

I'm a bit scared to look...I already know the answer.

Just look already.

I pick up the tests and to no avail both were positive...I'm three weeks...exactly how long ago it was.

Ok...

I nod to myself.

My phone chimes and the notification is a message from 'Sev<3'.

It's the wedding invite.

I don't know why I feel as though I am in big trouble...
