"Gauri, did you find anything?" Harsh asked Gauri in the call.

"Shakti Oberoi is a smart person, he doesn't allow anyone into his office and his office door has a keypad that needs a password to enter inside. But the one time I had been inside the room to mop the floor, I didn't see anything suspicious, it looked like a normal office."

"Things don't look suspicious, Gauri. It is us who has to do an examination and find out whether they are something to suspect about or not. And as for a person like Shakti Oberoi, he won't just leave the important files on the table."

"I know Uncle, I am sure it's inside his office since he has the room locked with the keypad unlike the other rooms. But I have to find out the password in order to get there, I got to know that Pinky Oberoi is planning to host a new year party this year at the mansion, if everything goes well it would be a great chance for me to sneak inside his office."

"Great then!" Harsh said with a relief in his voice, "Remember Gauri, the information that you are going to gather can save many lives, lives of the children, who are being traded to the underworld mafia, who are using them as sex workers, drug peddlers and what not. I chose you for this mission because no one knows the pain of those children better than you. I know I am hard on you but think of those children, the delay from our side would cost a life of a child."

"I would try my best to get the information at the earliest." Gauri vowed.

"Guess what's for breakfast today?" Gauri asked as she walked inside Omkara's room, making his lips curve up into a bright smile.

"Umm... My favourite Aloo paratha?" Omkara guessed.

"No, my favourite Dal-Chawal with Garlic Chutney."

"When you asked me for my favourite food the other day, I thought you would surprise me with my favourite food."

"You might have eaten your favourite food many times, but for a change you are going to have my favourite food, and find out why it's my favourite." Gauri said as she served the food to him.

"It's nice." Omkara said as he took a bite of the food.

"Nice?" Gauri frowned. "I cooked it just for you, and all you have to say is nice? It's awesome amazing, I would give it a five star rating."

"Fine, fine it's wonderful." Omkara chuckled making Gauri huff. "Accha, I am sorry." Omkara said making cute face.

"Fine, I forgive you."Gauri said with an attitude.

"You are so full of yourself." Omkara laughed. "Are you going to stay here to read the books?" He asked hoping that she would stay with him.

"No, I have to go down to take care of things." Gauri said.

"Okay." Omkara answered with a disappointed sigh, all these years he was fine staying alone in his room all by himself, but since she came, he began to feel lonely without her around him.

"I will try to come back as soon as possible." Gauri said, "Will you read me one of your books?"

"Sure, I will." Omkara said with a smile, making her smile in return.

"Omkaraji, where are you?" Gauri asked as she walked inside his room after a few hours.

"I am here." Omkara answered exiting the bathroom.

"Come let's go." Gauri said holding his hand.

"To where?" Omkara asked without moving from his place.

"Outside, the weather is so pleasant today." Gauri said looking outside, "The skies are clear, sun is shining bright, and there are flowers blooming everywhere." She said witha dreamy sigh.

"I can't see that." Omkara said as he shook his head.

"I know." Gauri said, "But you can feel it right?"

"But Pinky..."

"No one's at home except for the servants, they went to Mr.Kapoor's Barbeque party at his farm house. Do you have any more questions?" She asked and Omkara nodded his head in No.

"Great, even if you have you can ask me while walking." Gauri said as she tugged at his hand, asking to start moving.

"Watch out." Gauri said as she made a mini jump trying not to step on the sharp dried twigs.

"Are you trying to kill me?" Omkara asked, annoyed as he got poked by a twig for the second time. "And how can I watch out?" He asked exasperated.

"Sorry." Gauri apologised, "Often I forget that you can't see. My bad. Hold my hand." She said as she linked her fingers with him, and guided him through the narrow mud paths.

"Where are we headed to? We have been walking since past fifteen minutes." Omkara asked as he followed Gauri.

"That's the surpise." Gauri said as she guided him, "Five more minutes."

"I haven't walked these many steps in past 4 years that you are making me walk now." Omkara complained.

"Here, we are." Gauri said as they reached the destination. "Please stand here, for two minutes." She said as she left Omkara's hand and walked under the big Sakura tree, and laid down the blanket she brought with her.

Walking back to Omkara, she held his hand and guided him to the spot, under the tree. And made him sit on the blanket, and helped him lean against the bark of the tree.

"Where are we?" Omkara asked as he inhaled the pleasant air.

"Near the lake in the forest behind the Oberoi Mansion." Gauri answered.

"It's my favourite place." Omkara smiled.

"The painting in your room, it's the same one right?"

"Yes." Omkara answered, "I used to come here whenever I wanted to stay alone. How did you find this place?"

"Last week, when I came here with Kalyani, to find some herbs for her knee pain, I fumbled across this place, and I remembered the painting in your room."

"Thank you." Omkara smiled. "Even though I couldn't see it, I can feel the pleasant air, and the aqua smell of the water."

"It's exactly the way it was in the painting." Gauri said, "Envision yourself in that painting, we are sitting under the big Sakura tree, on a blue blanket, with its pink flowers falling down now and then, the skies are clear, and the water in the lake is constant without any ripples."

"It's beautiful." Omkara said with a happy smile.

"Would you like to have your favourite Aloo Parantha?" Gauri asked as she opened the picnic basket.

Gauri and Omkara had their picnic under the Sakura tree that kept them cool under the bright Summer sun. They spoke about the nature and their childhood.

"And since then Persephone loved half of the year underground and half of the year on the Earth, causing the change in the seasons." Omkara read the story written in Braille.

"That's a good story, and you read it wonderfully." Gauri smiled as she looked at Omkara, sitting on the blanket beside him.

"Thank you." Omkara said closing the book.

"Do you want to lay down?" Gauri asked as he had been leaning against the hard trunk for a while now, and Omkara nodded.

"You too lay down." Omkara asked holding Gauri's hand after she helped him lay down.

Gauri laid down beside Omkara as she continued watching him.

With a handsome face and magnificent charcoal eyes, no one would tell that this man is a visually challenged person. He is a talented man. Gauri realised it from the numerous paintings, trophies, and sculptures in his room. Only if fate hadn't been harsh on him,  he would have been a successful businessman today leading the Oberoi Industries, which now Shakti Oberoi is using a cover to pursue his illegal activities.

"You should stop staring at me." Omkara said with his eyes closed.

"How did you know... Don't answer that, I already know the answer." Gauri said as she shook her head.

"Why do you stare at me so much?" Omkara asked amused.

"With such a handsome face infront of me, I couldn't help it. Only if you could see you through my eyes." Gauri said with a dreamy sigh and slapped her head as she heard Omkara laugh. "I am sorry." She mumbled embarassed.

"You are cute, Anamika." Omkara laughed.

"We should get going now." She said as she tried to get up her laying position.

"Can we lay down for a few more minutes?" Omkara requested.

"Why? Are you having any pain?" Gauri asked concerned.

"No, I feel good here." Omkara said.

"Okay." Gauri said and laid back.

"It's the first time I am coming out of the mansion since I lost my vision." Omkara said after a few minutes. "I didn't want to face the people, I don't want them then to pity me. I was in depression, lost my reason to live, I don't know why I was alive, then I made peace with myself but I wasn't strong enough to face people. Sometimes I wish what has happened didn't happen, we would still have been the happy family." He said in a thick voice.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Gauri asked carefully.

"We decided to go on a road trip after I came back home completing my studies. Papa, Mom and I were happily singing, joking and pulling each other's leg and the next minute there were deadly screams, metal crashing against eachother, and air was filled with scres and ambulance sounds. And everything went dark, and when I woke up it was still dark, Doctors told that because of the accident I lost my vision permanently. I got to know my parents are no more and my happy world crashed."

"I am sorry for what happened with you." Gauri said as she wiped the tears streaming down his face.

"I miss them a lot." Omkara said taking a deep breath.

"I am proud of you for going through all that and still staying strong, and being able to smile." Gauri said as she gave his hand a gentle squeeze.

"Anamika." Omkara called as they reached his room later that day, "I told you I was not confident enough to face people after I lost my vision."

"Yes."

"But after being with you all these days, I have an urge to see myself, I don't know if people will feel the same way as you feel about me but I feel confident about my appearance." Omkara said with a smile.

"You are the most handsome man, I have ever seen, don't feel low about yourself." Gauri said looking at him.

"Handsome than Salman Khan?" Omkara wiggled his brows.

"Not that handsome, Salman Khan got muscles, and his hair is shorter than yours, and got a body that one could die for..." Gauri said with a dreamy sigh.

"Seriously! You are drooling over a fifty plus year man." Omkara asked exasperated.
