Paige

     I woke up feeling a lot of pain in my lower abdomen. It was still dark outside, and the clock on the nightstand read 3:12 AM. I looked around the room and realized I wasn't in Xavier's room, I was in his guest room. He let me sleep alone? It was probably Nathan who forced him to put me here. I quietly got out of bed and limped to the bathroom, closing the door and locking it. I pulled down my pants to go to the bathroom, but I suddenly felt my stomach start to hurt...badly. And I knew I was going to get my period very soon. "Shit," I cursed quietly. Of course, my period decided to come at the worst possible time. And when I get it, I have the most awful cramps, they are so painful. It wasn't here quite yet, but these bad cramps are my usual sign that it's coming in a few days. I went to the bathroom and limped as best as I could back into bed.

     I started feeling cramps again, and it hurt so bad. I have asked my doctor about it and she said most people don't have this much pain, but it's not dangerous or anything to worry about. It's just the way my cramps are I guess. I curled up into a fetal position, trying to make the pain a little less. It hurt worse than usual because I was still sore from when Xavier raped me. Tears fell from my eyes as I started silently crying. My life could not be any worse right now.

     I figured since Xavier couldn't hear me, I'd cry a little louder and let it all out, so that's what I did. I started crying just a little louder and it felt good to get it out.

Xavier
I could not sleep. Not without Paige next to me. I don't know how I did it before without her. I got out of bed and ventured down the hall just to go see her. I'm not going to do anything, I just want to physically see her. As I got closer to her door, I could hear faint crying. Why is she up and crying in the middle of the night? I quietly knocked and walked into the room to see her clutching her pillow and quickly wiping her eyes.

"Sweetheart, why are you crying?" I asked concerned. "It's nothing, I'm fine," She replied quickly, her voice sounding strained. "You sound like you're in pain. What hurts?" I asked, slowly walking towards her. She immediately sat up and scoot to the other side of the bed. "I'm fine, please just don't come any closer," she whimpered, hugging her knees to her chest. "I promise I'm not going to do anything. I just heard you crying and want to make sure you're okay," I said softly.

She didn't answer me, but after a few moments, her face twisted up in pain and she laid down in a fetal position, groaning in pain. Ohhh. So that's why she's crying. "Okay, sweetheart I understand now. I'll be right back with some stuff to help with the pain okay?" I explained before rushing to get everything for her. I don't want her to be in pain any longer.

Paige's POV
I just wished I had my heating pad, Tylenol, and skin cream to rub on my lower tummy. Those three things always helped to relieve the pain, at least a little bit. Suddenly, the tightening in my tummy started up again, causing me to curl up into myself and clutch my stomach, more tears slipping out.

     I laid on the bed in pain and waited impatiently, knowing Xavier was probably going to bring me medicine or something. He came back into the room carrying a hot water bottle, some painkillers, and a glass of water. He gave me the pills and water and watched me swallow them. Then he got into bed next to me with the hot water bottle, pulled me on his lap, and started lifting my shirt up.

     Panicked, I slapped his hand away and started to get off of him. "Hey hey hey, relax. I'm just going to put this where you're hurting okay?" He said soothingly, holding up the water bottle. He slowly started lifting my shirt again, and set the hot bottle down on my lower tummy, making the pain subside quite a bit. He then started massaging my tummy with his thumbs, rubbing slow circles on my skin, which honestly made it feel much better. I started to feel the medicine kick in, and I now felt super drowsy and relaxed, so I closed my eyes and passed out right on Xavier's lap.

Xavier's POV
     Paige fell asleep about 10 minutes ago, but I was still massaging her tummy and making sure the water bottle was hot. I didn't want her to wake up again in pain. I didn't realize how painful her period would be. I had pads and tampons and stuff for her, but I wasn't prepared for this. Now I know.

     Once the water bottle was cold, I took it off her skin and set it on the nightstand. Then I pulled us under the covers and slipped my hand under Paige's shirt, massaging her tummy again. I rubbed her tummy until I fell asleep too.
