"Joonie~" You roll over and plant a tiny kiss on his cheek. You mold yourself to him, burying your face in his neck.

"Mmm," Namjoon grins, but keeps his eyes closed.

"It's time to get up." You kiss his cheek one more time, then get up from the bed.

"Hey," Namjoon murmurs as he reaches for your wrist, but you dance out of his grasp. "Don't be like that."

Namjoon groans, but he gets out of bed; coming to stand beside you at the bathroom sink.

"Do you remember what we're doing today?" You smile and bump his hip with your own.

Namjoon grins, his mouth covered with foamy toothpaste. "Yeah, I remember. I'm excited~"

Tonight, the night before his actual birthday, you and the boys are taking Namjoon out to dinner, and then hitting a nightclub afterwards. You've been looking forward to this day since the month began. Now that it's finally here, you can hardly contain your excitement!

A few hours later, you stand before Namjoon as you hook on your earrings. "Do I look okay?" You tug on your romper. "Should I put on something cuter?"

"You look beautiful, Y/N," Namjoon smiles, stepping toward you and planting a gentle kiss on your forehead.

You beam up at him, slipping your hand in his. "Let's get the night started!"

A short time later, you and Namjoon arrive at the restaurant. You meet Yoongi and Jimin outside. Jimin greets you and Namjoon with a warm hug. Yoongi smiles.

"Everyone's inside." Yoongi leads the way inside the bustling restaurant. Jimin takes your hand, his smile making a few people stare.

"Hey!" The boys surround you and Namjoon, filling the air with boisterous chatter. "Are you guys ready to party?" Hobi throws his hands up and does a quick series of steps. A few other patrons clap and pull out their phones to record Hoseok dancing.

Soon enough, you're seated at a table. All through dinner you and the boys talk about the club. Their excitement quickly rubs off on you. You grip Namjoon's hand underneath the table. He brings your hand up, and kisses your knuckles.

The night air is pulsing with energy and sound as you and the boys walk up to the club. As soon as you enter the club, your favorite song comes on. You lock eyes with Jungkook and he grins. You both start dancing almost simultaneously. The boys cheer you on; Namjoon rocks behind you, his hands low on your hips.

With how big your group is and how handsome the boys are, you quickly become surrounded by other club-goers. A few people pull out their phones and take pictures. The boys bring you front and center, posing with you and being excellent hype-men. People start to think you're a celebrity!

As the night goes on, you look around at the boys having a blast and your heart is warm. Namjoon comes up behind you, grinding slow; his breath warm against your ear. "Are you having a good time, Baby?"

"Mmhm," you purr as you grind against him. "I'm more excited for tomorrow."

Namjoon grins, spinning you around and pressing a kiss against your lips. "Me, too."

You and Namjoon find the rest of the boys in the heart of the dance floor. Yoongi has taken over at the DJ booth. His voice comes over the speakers. "Hey, everybody. My name is Suga and I want you all to wish a big happy birthday to my boy Namjoon!" The crowd of rowdy club-goers roars. Namjoon beams, pulling you close and pressing his lips to your temple.

You stay in the club, drinking and dancing with the boys until the club shuts down for the night. You're high on pure euphoria as you and the boys stumble through the club's parking lot. You grab the front of Namjoon's shirt and pull him close, kissing him hard on the mouth. The boys cheer as Namjoon deepens the kiss, his hands straying low down your back.

You and Namjoon head home, filling the air with excited chatter. "I'm glad you had a good time, love," Namjoon murmurs as you slide into bed. You're wearing his t-shirt.

"I'm glad you had a good time," you smile, nuzzling into his side. "I hope tomorrow is just as much fun as tonight."

"It will be," Namjoon replies, his voice growing heavy with sleep. "Because we'll be together."

You go to sleep that night with your heart feeling impossibly full.

The next morning, Namjoon wakes you with a kiss. You smile, opening your eyes and seeing the man you love lying right beside you. "Good morning, my love," Namjoon murmurs, brushing a lock of hair away from your cheek.

"Good morning, babe," you reply, getting out of bed and heading to the kitchen to fix breakfast.

"What time are we heading out?" Namjoon asks as you fry up some eggs. "It's just us two, right?"

"Yup," you hum as you scoop some eggs onto Namjoon's plate. "We'll leave at about three, okay?"

"Okay," Namjoon smiles, snaking his arms around your waist and pulling you close. "As the hour advances, I'll get happier and happier."

"Joon!" You swat his arm, grinning. "Don't say such cheesy, embarrassing stuff!"

Three comes around surprisingly quickly. You and Namjoon got ready for the day as soon as you finished breakfast. Namjoon takes your hand as you walk to his truck. You have a fully-stocked picnic basket in your other hand.

The beach is empty when you and Namjoon arrive. "Let's sit near the water."

"Okay, Baby," Namjoon replies, slipping off his shoes and taking them in his other hand.

Namjoon sets down the blanket and you lay out the food. You packed a variety of sandwiches, drinks, and even a cake.

Namjoon sits down beside you, grabbing a sandwich. "Thanks for doing this, babe."

You lean your head on his shoulder. "Silly boy. I like doing things like this. If I can make your birthday a little special, I'll do anything I can."

Namjoon leans against you, putting an arm around your shoulders. "I love you."

"Happy birthday, baby." You turn and kiss his lips.

Ahhh I'm so late! I was dealing with horrible writer's block 😭 I meant to have this published for Joonie's birthday! But, better late than never, huh?
