Was Aiden crazy? Did he actually believe Kale would be able to talk after that? The man was insane. All Kale could do was lay on the bed and attempt calming his heart down. It wasn't working that well. His chest was pumping up and down. His breaths coming out in short puffs. 'I'm having a heart attack, I'm going to die', kept circling in his head. Aiden's deep voice cut through the loop.

"Say. It. Kale."

He had two choices. Ask the question and learn a truth he might not want to hear. Or, start banging his head against the bed and ignoring the other occupants. He knew what the head banging would bring. He darted a quick glance between them. Their faces were eager and waiting for him to speak. His hands started to swipe through his hair, but Adien held them still.

"Don't make me start counting, Kale."

Reegan laughed. Just threw her head back and let it out. She laughed so hard that tears started running down her cheeks. Kale shifted and stared. He had no idea what she found so damn funny.

"I'm sorry," she said as she wiped the tears away. "But those words are hilarious when they are aimed at someone else." She burst out laughing again. "Oh god, Kale! You're face! Now I know why he's always saying my reaction is priceless."

One side of Kale's mouth pulled up. It wasn't hard to envision Reegan going full throttle and then turning into a statue when those words were spoken. Of course, Aiden was the only one that wasn't distracted from the important part of the conversation.

"1... 2... Kale, you better start talking..."

Reegan put her fingers on Kale's lips and did a horrid impersonation of his voice, while moving his mouth like he was talking.

"Well now, Big Boss. I would really like to know if you think you might possibly love me too. Because it would be swell if you did!"

Aiden raised an eyebrow and swatted her hands. "You're incorrigible."

Reegan faked astonishment. "Me? No way! I'm an angel."

"Ha! With horns holding up your halo!" Kale's statement threw them both off. They both just looked at him. Neither one saying anything. Green and brown eyes, both gleaming with humor. Grins across both faces. He pulled his lopsided grin and his cheeks turned a little pink.

Aiden patted Kale's head and then lightly shook it side to side. "That was a good one. But. You're still not doing what I told you to. I'm left with no choice, but to make you."

Aiden stood up from the bed and pulled Kale up. He snapped his fingers and motioned for Reegan to do the same. She hopped up immediately and went to stand beside him.

"What are you doing, Daddy Man?"

Aiden laughed, it was evil and bounced off the walls. The sound reverberating in Kale's ears and causing goosebumps.

"What happens when you don't do what I tell you to?"

Reegan's dark eyes widened and she mimicked Aiden's evil laugh. "No way! Do I get to watch? Please say yes. Please?"

Aiden nodded and she jerked her arm back; like she just answered a million dollar question, the 'yes' was drawn out and excited. She flopped down in the floor. Crossed her legs, put her elbows on her knees, and rested her head in her hands. Kale was oblivious of what was going to happen. Judging by Reegan's reaction though, he was in trouble. Big trouble.

Aiden sat down on the corner of the bed. Feet firmly on the floor. Knees bent at a ninety degree angle, giving him the perfect amount of lap space. He crooked his finger at Kale. Then pointed at his lap.

The gulp echoed in the room.

Oh shit! He wasn't serious was he? Kale shivered and then tried his best to move his legs. For some reason, they felt like they had turned to jelly. He really needed to rethink this scenario. Maybe just asking Aiden's question would save him. He started to open his mouth and ask, but Aiden cut him off. By holding his fingers up and silently counting to three. When that third finger popped up, he reached out and grabbed Kale's hand.

"On your knees and lay your chest over my lap."

Was it wrong that he was getting turned on? That he was a little excited about being over Aiden's lap, being made to ask a question. Ever so slowly, Kale went to his knees. His torso stretching across Aiden's lap and his head laying against the mattress. He tucked his arms under his chest. His hips were in a perfect line up with Aiden's thigh and the end of the bed. Kale's heart rate doubled when Aiden slid a finger between the elastic band of his pajama pants and his bare skin. There was a swift tug and the waistband was neatly tucked under his ass cheeks.

"Now, let's see. I believe someone needs a little encouraging to get his vocal cords working."

Aiden trailed his hand across the bare skin and then lifted his hand. Kale squeezed his eyes shut and waited. When the expected contact never came, he opened his eyes. And there it was. The sound registered first. A loud cracking noise that richocheted off the walls. Then a slow burn that turned into a cold chill.

"Are you ready to ask me?"

Another slap and he repeated his question. Kale sucked in a deep breath and mumbled against the bed. Aiden delivered another blow.

"What was that? I couldn't hear you."

Kale mumbled louder and it was followed by Aiden's hand. His ass cheeks were an inferno. But he loved the feeling. He lifted his head off the mattress and tried to face Aiden.

"How do you..." he cleared his throat and the rest of the question died on his lips.

"How do I, what?" Aiden raised his arm and waited. When Kale didn't add anything else, his arm swung and another hand print was made. "Finish the question."

Kale's cheeks were burning. Both sets. He mustered up all the strength he had inside and sent up a silent plea for a positive response. "How do you feel about... me?

Aiden gave his ass a final tap. Softer than any of the others before. His legs moved and he pulled on Kale's hips. They shifted around until Kale was trapped between Aiden's legs. He motioned for Reegan to join him on the bed.

"Well, since you asked so nicely, I'll tell you." He leaned in and whispered in Kale's ear, "I think we might love you, too." Aiden pulled Kale's forehead to his lips and placed a desire filled kiss right on his hairline
