"Do you want my autograph or something?"
"Yes, I'm your biggest fan." Kabuto holds out a pen and a small notebook.
"Oh, you really are. Who should I make it out to?" You ask, flipping through the pages to find an empty one. He steps in to help you find one.
"Kabuto, K-a-b-u-t-o." He watches you sign it before flipping to another empty page. "One more?"
"Sure, sure."
"O. R. O. This is your second biggest fan by the way, he finds you to be very interesting." You nod, waiting for the next letter and not really listening to what he's saying. You just wanted to get this over with, he gave you bad vibes. "C-h-i-m-a-r-u."
"That's a weird looking name. Anyways, here you go, is that all kiddo?"
"Kiddo? I'm flattered you think I'm so young." He takes the book back and starts writing something of his own.
"I feel like you just suggested that I'm really young, like six."
"I don't think that, I find you to be very mature for your age." That didn't reassure you at all.
"You don't know me well enough then buddy." You finger guns as you take an unconscious step back.
"I can change that."
"No, you know what they say. You should never meet your heroes," you were really uncomfortable at this point.
"Too late, we've already met." He ripped the page out of his notebook and held it out for you, pulling it out of reach when you went to grab it. "You are very interesting Sakura, it's strange that this.... talent has only come to light recently wouldn't you agree? I mean, you come from a family of nobodies but you're an all-knowing psychic?"
"What about it?"
"Nothing," he lets you grab the paper. "Just know, we have our eye on you Sakura. Don't try to mess with our plans." You glance at the paper.
"Or?"
"If you knew anything about Orochimaru you wouldn't need an or."
"I know enough, what's the or?" You didn't like him acting like he was controlling this conversation, it made everything way more terrifying.
"You don't need an or Sakura, you're shaking."
"It's cold," you lie.
"You're scared enough." You put the note into your pocket, grabbing onto the socks.
"You're the one that's scared, you're scared that I'll tell the Hokage. Otherwise, you wouldn't be here, tell me the or."
"Why do you want to know so bad?" You didn't have an answer for that, maybe you wanted to be sure of what he was threatening. Maybe you needed to know so you could decide if it was worth it. "You're psychic, figure it out yourself."
"Fine.... I will." You turn around and head towards your house, Kabuto followed behind you a few feet. "Why are you following me?"
"I'm not, I'm going this way too." He said, an awkward silence settled over both of you as you walked down the same street.
"Well, this is my stop." He glances around him, his eyes settling on the Hokage's office.
"Really?"
"I don't think you have an or, I think your threat is empty so there's nothing to stop me from telling on you."
"Fine, I'll tell you. You're so stupidly stubborn," he mutters and shakes his head as he keeps walking towards your home. You follow, a little unsurely, but you're still moving behind him. "Don't you like walking with me, just the two of us?"
"Not really, you're kind of a creep."
"But you're in no real danger, you're in the middle of a village."
"So?"
"So, imagine if you will, none of these buildings. Just you in a room, the only people you'll ever see again is Orochimaru and myself. Doesn't that sound lovely?"
"What color are the walls?"
"White, why does it matter?"
"I'm trying to imagine it and I just can't, is there a bed? A table? A light?"
"That humor can't save you Sakura."
"But it can annoy you, imagine this for me. These wonderful jokes, for the rest of my life. I'll be in my room, all alone, who else is there to tell my jokes to?"
"I'll get you a crab."
"I'll find a way to make you regret that."
"I'll keep you up to date on everything Sasuke related, since you two are so close."
"Nice try but you're not getting Sasuke, you can lock me in a bland room for the rest of my life but Sasuke will never go with you. You and Oreo Mario have your fancy threats but I have more on my side." The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
"You have a while to make up your mind, I highly suggest you listen to me." His eye twitched behind his glasses and he turned down a different street. That was a tense conversation and you hated every minute of it. You make your way all the way back to your house, running into nobody else. You were so thankful to be laying on a bed you forgot all about the note that you left in your pocket, abandoned on the floor for the time being. Your world was expectantly bright, Sakura sat at a desk doodling in the corner of her paper as she zoned out. She glanced up at you and sat up straighter.
'What did you do?'
"What do you mean?"
'You look like you've seen a ghost.' You catch the small smile and send her a disapproving look.
"I'm going to ignore that but you'll never believe what happened today."
'Gaara gave you socks?'
"You knew?"
'Yep, I didn't tell you because it's a present and you don't spoil presents. I assume you also saw your bodyguards again too?'
"Yeah, they're good boys. Did you also know about Kabuto? He's so weird and creepy, he wanted my autograph and he told me not to mess with their plans or else they'd lock me in a room for eternity."
'I wasn't aware of that, it cut to Naruto as he tripped over a mountain of ramen cups.'
"Typical Naruto."
'Since I don't know what happened there, do you think it's something to worry about?'
"Definitely, he thinks he's going to get Sasuke from us. I'm not letting Sasuke out of my sights once he gets back. Where'd you disappear to while I was training?"
'It doesn't matter, I just wanted to check up on everyone and see how they were doing.'
"How are they?"
'They're all good, for now. Do you like my dog?'
"That's a dog?" You stare at the strange doodles on her page, the longer you looked the more dog-like they seemed. "Yes."
'Good, this one is named Jeffery. He's a chocolate lab.' She scribbles around the puppy, clearly proud of Jeffery. 'You know, I've been thinking and I want to be a doctor.'
"What do you mean?"
'If I'm stuck here forever, that's what I want. If I'm not then I can bring my knowledge back to my world and help it advance medically. I had the right idea, training with Tsunade, but your world has a lot of medical knowledge that ours doesn't.'
"Your world has a lot of medical problems that mine doesn't though," you point out.
'So does yours, I just think it's important to have as much information as we can get.'
"I guess you're right, so how are you going to get this information?"
