Luna had a hard time sleeping the night before the first concert. She knew that everything would go fine, there was just a tense anticipation. It seemed that Jungkook wanted nothing more than to do his very best, which Luna admired as it was something he would aspire to in everything he did. However, she felt a little worried about how much he was pushing.

Something that nobody told Luna about soulmates is that feelings that are strong enough can transfer into your soulmate. One can tell when their soulmate is in distress. Although Jungkook was not in active distress, Luna could tell that his anticipation to do well in concert was hard on him.

Luna learned very early on that Jungkook was a chameleon of sorts. He could hide his true feelings about a situation in order to preserve peace or to not upset somebody else very well. He was very in touch with his emotions, but he could keep them a secret very well.

Of course there were some people who could read him. The other members, for example, knew when Jungkook wasn't doing so well. But Luna, could feel it. Even as she slept in a separate room from him, she could feel that he wasn't sleeping.

The thing that confused Luna about this night was that everything seemed to go perfectly fine during the sound check and dress rehearsal. Luna didn't really understand why Jungkook was stressing so much. But, it was bothering her so much that she decided to get up and call a driver.

It was 2 in the morning, so Luna was relatively surprised when someone answered her call and sent a driver her way. She guessed stuff like that happened more often than she thought. People needed to comfort their soulmates.

The drive was quiet and uneventful. The uneasiness she was feeling was enough to keep her silent the whole way there. Not that she was a particularly talkative person.

Luna messaged Jungkook on the way. He replied quickly.

Her knock on his door wasn't unexpected. Even though she had a key, she felt as though it was more polite to knock.

The door opened to a sight that Luna was certainly not expecting. Jungkook, without a shirt, his hair damp with sweat. He looked exhausted and so very beautiful. Luna choked a bit, the gorgeous sight taking her off guard.

"Hi..." she said softly. Her voice was shaky. Luna's mind was all over the place, but she tried her hardest to focus on why she had gone to him in the first place. "Uh... I-uh..." Her eyes wondered a little bit.

Jungkook smiled at the flustered girl. They had never made it very far in this department, which Jungkook was fine with. Luna was young and new to this, so he didn't want her to feel overwhelmed or forced into anything.

"Hey Luna." He said with a little amusement. "What's up?"

Luna looked up from her distracted gaze, a little startled. "Um, I was just worried about you. I couldn't sleep and obviously neither could you." She said. "Why were you working out? You're gonna be burnt out for tomorrow."

Jungkook reached for her hand to pull her into the penthouse. "It helps me sleep." He shrugged.

Luna smiled tiredly as she let herself be pulled along. "I don't believe that for a second."

"Believe it or not," He said as he placed himself on the couch and she sat beside him. "It does. But you make me feel even better than my work out does."

Luna wasn't one to blush much, however with the late hour and the warmth of his body next to her, her whole face felt hot with the comment. "Oh, uh... That's good." She said. She kept her eyes off him so that she could save herself from embarrassment.

Jungkook couldn't help but giggle at just how cute Luna was. "Hey... Luna, look at me." He said gently, his smile never leaving his face.

Luna didn't look up until Jungkook took his fingers under her chin and gently guided her face to look at him. Her breath hitched when she saw how his eyes looked at her.

"Hi." Luna said, breathless.

"Hi." Jungkook replied. He brushed his thumb over her bottom lip.

"Jungkook, why are you so upset?" she interrupted.

He paused for a moment. He wasn't sure what to say, but obviously she already knew he was nervous about the tour.

He sat up straighter and faced her. "You know more than anyone gives you credit for you know that?" He chuckled a bit. Luna rolled her eyes at the comment.

"Come onnnnnn!" she said. "We're soulmates. I know you know when I'm upset, why can't you tell me what's wrong?"

Jungkook sighed. "I just... I don't know."

Luna smiled sympathetically and opened up her arms for him to hug. He lied his head down on her lap instead and she adjusted for his comfort. Her hands slipped into his hair. His eyes fluttered closed.

"Is it your performance tomorrow? I'm sure it will be completely fine." Luna tried to comfort.

"No no... I've performed on that stage a million times." Jungkook said softly. "I guess I'm just more worried about you. You're new to this. It's a lot. I don't want you overwhelmed."

Luna laughed a little bit. "Jungkook, is this what you're so worried about?"

"Well, yeah..." He said sheepishly.

"It's going to be OK. I can handle it!" She said quietly. "Plus, I've never gotten to travel much. I want to see all the places you have been."

Jungkook hummed in response. "I'm glad you're so positive about this. Doesn't mean I'm not going to worry." He cuddled further into her lap, snuggling his face into her abdomen and wrapping his arms around her.

"I'm gonna stay tonight." Luna said.

Luna felt his smile against her. "You'd have to fight me to leave." He said teasingly. She laughed at this.

"I know. I know," Her smile evident in her words. "I just wanted it to seem like it was my choice." She joked back.

He looked up at her. Jungkook's eyes were lit with joy, clear as day. Luna smiled at him with her everything. He sat up to look at her fully.

"Luna..." He hesitated. Though only for a moment. "I love you."

Luna was taken aback. She didn't expect him to say that. She also didn't know such words could hold so much emotion. So much vulnerability. Luna felt the rawness of it all. It hit her like a truck. Her own words were thrown out of her mouth. She sat there, her mouth open and and breath gone.

"Luna? Luna..." Jungkook started. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to --"

He was cut off by lips on his. They told Jungkook everything he needed to know. He kissed back, fervent, wanting... needing. Her hands on his face, his hands holding her neck and small of her back.

Jungkook shifted Luna until she was straddled on top of him. She pulled away a little. Resolve settled in her when she saw his face clearly, even in the dark.

"I love you too Jeon Jungkook." She said and leaned right back in as soon as she saw his eyes light up once again.
