The piercing sound of an alarm startled Luna out of her slumber. She groaned and rolled over to her phone on the bed side table. She pressed snooze and promptly shifted farther into her blanket. 

The exhaustion from the night before was too heavy and she did not want to get up in that moment.

Just as sleep was finding her again, a knocking sound came from the door. 

"Hello?" Luna called in a groggy state. 

"Luna?" a familiar voice called out. "It's Namjoon. Are you awake?" 

"Getting there." she replied as she started to sit up and rub her eyes. She figured if Namjoon was already there, she should probably get up.

"Breakfast is cereal for today, sorry. You've got 20 minutes to 9." Namjoon said in a chill tone.

That's when Luna jumped out of her bed. 20 minutes and she would see her soulmate. 20 MINUTES! And she wasn't even out of bed!

She scrambled to find some decent clothes and a hairbrush. 

Once in a mid-calf length black skirt, a blouse, and some converse, Luna exited her room. Her hair was in a half-up-half-down style to keep it away from her face, and still give it a bit of a break from the tight ponytail style. 

There was a bowl of cheerios already prepared for her on the counter, which she quickly scarfed down in panic and because she was extremely hungry. Namjoon watched her in amusement, his dimples appearing a bit. Luna didn't even bother to say hello before heading to the food.

"Ah, Luna! Slow down! You don't want to get stomach ache or the hiccups, do you?" He said with a small chuckle.

"Namjoon-ah! I'm sorry, I should've said hi" she said while chewing her last bite of cereal. Luckily, no hiccups came, although Luna was sure that a stomach ache was on the rise. 

She placed the bowl in the sink and headed over to Namjoon. He gave her a friendly hug as she approached.

"It's nice to finally meet you in your own body." He said with his dimples poking through. He let her go and finally looked at her fully. "You're shorter than I expected." Luna giggled with him this time.

"Hey! You expect too much of me." Luna said while continuing to giggle. 

Namjoon gave her a pat of the back and said "Well, it's almost 9. Is there anything else you'd like to do?" 

"I'm going to brush my teeth. I'll be out quickly." she assured him while scurrying over the the bathroom. Her anxiety was spiking a bit and she could feel her breath quickening and heart beat strengthen.

Once she was done with her teeth, she took one last look in the mirror. Luna felt the butterflies coming, but couldn't decide if it was because of how quickly she ate or not.

"Luna," Namjoon poked his head in the door. "Ready?" 

"Ready as I'll ever be..." Luna said with a sigh.

Namjoon led Luna out the dorm and down the hall towards the elevators. They headed up to the seventh floor, where they passed various meeting rooms and offices. There was a space for every member, clearly marked with labels.

They stopped in front of a normal door with shaded windows so you could only see figures from the light. There were a couple of people inside. 

Namjoon gave Luna one last look at her before knocking on the door.

A big man who Luna recognized as Mr. Bang opened the door and gave a welcoming smile to Luna. 

"Ah, hello. Come on in." he said. Luna obliged and entered the room after Namjoon.

A figure was sitting with his head perked up curiously. 

She saw him. She could feel him. 

He saw her. He could feel her.

Eye contact.

It was as if there was nobody else in the world.

Everything else was a blur.

Everything was just them.

"Jungkook" she breathed.

"Luna" he replied.

Like magnets, they went to each other. 

He stood up.

She walked to him.

Their hands touched.

Electricity.

It was euphoric.

He pulled her into an embrace.

His scent consumed her.

"I can't believe you are here." he said. 

His voice was accented awkwardly.

She didn't mind.

He held her so perfectly.

She fit in his arms effortlessly.

Nothing would be better than this.

It was surreal for the two of them. Something clicked into place the moment they made eye contact. It was as if all the doubts and fears any of them had completely disappeared in that moment.

Namjoon and Mr. Bang had quietly step just outside the room to give them space.

Luna breathed in his scent again. 

Jungkook planted a small kiss on her hair. 

"Hi" Luna said. 

"Hi" Jungkook said.

They pulled back and took in the sight of each other. 

She ran her hands through his hair. 

The tips had been freshly dyed and she thought it looked good on him.

"Wow" Jungkook said. 

The way she felt and looked. 

The way she smiled at him like he was her everything. 

It was exhilarating.

It was everything they could ever want and more.
