Hazel.

"Do you smoke, Hazelnut?" Hannah's voice reached my ears but I was too busy staring at the front door of the nightclub in front of us.

Choosing to ignore her question, I respond, "I'm nervous."

"Why?" A chuckle escaped her lips as she reached into the pockets of her black jacket. She brought out a pre-rolled paper and placed it to her mouth. She fished out a lighter and I realized she was about to smoke. Was that weed?

"What is that?" I asked, my eyes growing wider.

She stayed silent. I watched as she lit that thing and took a long drag from it. With a full mouth, she extended her hand to me.

"I don't smoke."

She puffed the smoke and coughed out a little before turning to me. I inspected her eyes, the white part of those nice blue eyes had turned red and she looked high right away.

"Listen, tonight, we are having a girl's night out. That means, we are taking all the risks and trying out new things, you and I, both of us." She placed her hand on my shoulder. "Together."

I kept my mouth shut as I stared at the woman in front of me. Realizing how I knew so little about her but it felt like we had been friends forever.

"Together," she repeated. Wait, was that speech supposed to give me the zeal and morale to be irresponsible?

"I'm scared," I mumbled under my breath and did not expect her to hear that. Also, I meant it. I was scared as shit. I had never been to any night club before. I had never tried to smoke. Weed for that fact. The furthest I went was wine and low alcohol percentage drinks.

That was the definition of wild to me.

"Do you trust me." She looked into my eyes. Her blue ones sparkling with nothing but excess excitement.

I nodded. "I do."

"Good, let's go." She gave me the blunt, and this time I took a drag. Not as bad as I expected it but my lungs and the entire airway were on fire. I coughed out just as fast and Hannah was right there, massaging my back.

When I thought I recovered, she grabbed my wrist and led me through the doors, guarded by two men dressed in black. They nodded and let us in. The inside was as expected, flooded with wild, human creatures, moving the bodies to a loud beat.

Hannah's hand was still on my wrist when she led me through the crowded dancefloor to one of the many sidebars in the place.

"Two tequila shots, please," she made the order and the bartender did not fail to check her out. Who wouldn't? She wore a black, body-hugging leather dress that exposed most of her thighs. Added a black jacket with several chains to it, and settled her feet in long silver heels.

She defined 'hot' tonight.

As promised, I agreed to go out with her. The words she used when trying to convince me to come were far different from what was happening.

Casually, she had informed me that we'd only have a drink or two then she'd drop me back home. She even picked my outfit; a denim short and a black, lace top that clung to my body and I must say, defined the not so prominent curves I had. Of course, I settled for the equally denim laced sneakers she brought along with her as my gift.

She didn't tell me how much she got them, but anyone could tell they weren't cheap. My feet were on expensive fire and I adored it.

"Cheers." We clicked those tiny glasses before gulping them down. Ugh, my throat. "Now, we hit the dance floor."

"Right now?"

"Yes, oh, listen. This is my favorite song." She dragged my hand, leading us both to the crowded dance floor. A loud beat with a song called cheap thrills thudded my ears.

Although born into a generation where pop music was everything, I preferred country music. It was relaxing and soothing compared to any of this. But that beat got to me because, in no time, I was moving my body, mimicking Hannah's movements.

Of course, I couldn't get as good as she was because hell, she shook her body like she had no bones. I watched when she turned around and danced for me, making sure to bounce her ass in front of me. This was entertaining, I couldn't stop laughing and I think the weed and tequila kicked in because I felt euphoric.

"That was good!" I clapped my hands, screaming into her ear.

"It's your turn!"

I shook my head, declining the offer. I did not know how to dance.

"Yes!" She nodded.

"I don't know how to!"

"What?"

"I can't dance!" I shouted.

"I will teach you!" She smiled. "Turn around!"

I wanted to protest, but given our situation, I only did as told. Whatever was going to happen next was out of my control because Hannah said she'd teach me.

"Move your body," she spoke directly into my ear. That was ticklish but my attention had moved to her hands, now around my waist. What was she doing? I tried to focus on something else but when her hands lingered somewhere on my lower abdomen, I gasped and looked at her.

She wasn't as shocked as I was, she only gave me a small smile. Her eyes were redder than ever and I knew she was intoxicated.

"What are you doing?" I asked, and a chuckle followed.

"You said you trusted me!"

I nodded.

"Good, I need more of that trust,"  she leaned into my ear. "Don't freak out!"

"Why? Are we doing more weed?" I questioned.

She giggled. "No, we are doing more than that."

Before I could register what that meant, I felt warm lips on mine. My eyes grew wide but I did not pull away, Hannah Ford was kissing me. This was wrong, she was way too drunk to realize it, but I wasn't in any better state.

Finally, I pulled away. "What the fuck, Hannah?"

"Trying out new things. Together!" she responded and didn't even care for an answer because she came back to kiss me. This time, I responded just as much. Whatever this was, I had an excuse for it.

I was high.
