I think it finally hit me between depression and glee, that I want to keep on living.

-

Death.

Even though each death i experienced was quick, the pain seemed to linger. Fester. Suffocate. I hated it.

And finally, when I just couldn't control it anymore, and felt myself start to be dragged out of his mind. I felt an arm wrapping around my waist.

"Leaving already?"

His tone sounded sadistic. Controlling. He was having fun. Too much fun. I hated that too.

"Ugh, yeah? I mean, you won't listen to me anyway, so why bother asking anymore? Besides, pain is boring, I hate it, and I want a shower."

"Oh? Giving up on your friend already," he asked. The word friend seeming to bite at me a bit more than it should as I glared. He seemed to be able to get right under my skin. So, I merely slapped his arm away as I pushed myself away from him his grip loosening as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"No, I'm just going to figure out a different way."

"What other way would that be? You said you were a useless woman."

"Pfft, woman?! Sir, I am a gucci designer hand bag made for hitting drunk assholes upside the head!"

"A what-"

"Point is! This is getting no where."

Fuck, when I leave his mind, I hope he doesn't kill me the moment we both "wake up."

And just as he was about to say something, I had stopped everything completely. The world seeming to spin around and around as a dizziness settled before me.

Though, as we both "woke up" my knees started to buckle. The fact that I used too much cursed energy starting to weigh on me as I fell. But, just as Sukuna went to hit me I felt another grab me and pull me away just in time.

A frown settled on my face.

Why do people keep saving me when I can't even save my best friend?

So, please.

Just-

"Wow! It certainly has been awhile, hasn't it (Name)-chan," said an all too familiar voice as they pulled me behind them. Their back to me as I let out a sigh.

Gojo Satoru.

The one person that my parents hate to the moon and back.

"It c-certainly has."

If I remember correctly...my parents could never best him when they met up with him. He was always the stronger between the three.

Though, not that I care.

It was always fun watching my parents get beat by the strongest Sorcerer there was.

"Anyway, Gojo-san...I think you should handle this curse instead of me-"

"Yeah, you're kind of weak, (Name)."

A tick mark appeared on my head as I shifted my glare to him instead of Sukuna who merely smirked at the situation. He just saw this as an opportunity to kill more people.

"No need to say it when I already know it," I mumbled to myself.

My eyes focusing back onto Sukuna.

If only I could actually do something useful.
