wasted youth, spent adults

"Gojo-sensei and Kugisaki ... hmm, well, I know that Gojo-sensei was sealed away somewhere, and after I got Kugisaki to safety I never saw her again since the world went to shit."

So there is a possibility that Kugisaki is dead ...

Why does that hurt a little?

"I guess we should work on finding Gojo-sensei then-"

"I wouldn't bother," Fushiguro said. His gaze finally on her.

"Why is that?"

"Sukuna keeps a close eye on him after all. If we wanted to break Gojo-sensei out, then we would have to essentially defeat Sukuna."

"Huh. Wow, what a way to ruin the mood..."

He merely shrugged. Y/n finally falling back into the cushions of the couch. Her eyes staring up at the ceiling. Fushiguro finding it hard to take his eyes off of her. He felt ashamed of himself. Thinking like that when the world was literally ending. Priorities, damn it.

Gojo-sensei was sealed away.

Kugisaki was probably dead.
And Itadori really be dropping the ball.

Fuck being ashamed in himself, he was just disappointed in his supposed classmates and sensei ... well ... except for y/n. He couldn't exactly find a reason to hate her, be disappointed in her, or anything else for that matter.

Their first meeting was pretty rocky, and she didn't try to talk to him and he didn't try to talk to her.

But he, he would find himself glancing at her. Making sure she was alright anytime they were on a mission.

And when she choosed to stay behind that one time ... maybe that was why he felt so angry, but he couldn't be angry. She knew Itadori longer and barely even knew him. So, he didn't deserve to get angry when she chose to stay behind.

And then when he saw Sukuna carrying her ...

Damn, I should of forced her to come with me. Maybe things would of ended up differently.

"You're quite the oddball, aren't ya?"

"Huh?"

"...your soul hurts me..."

She was still looking up at the ceiling. Her gaze focusing on nothing as she spoke. His eyes flitting to her exposed neck before finally looking away once again.

"You're talking nonsense."

She merely smiled up at nothing. Enjoying how his soul affected her. He wasn't so bad after all.
