I ran off the stage as soon as the last song ended to go look for her.

JD was screaming my name as soon as he walked backstage, but I didn't have any time to waste if I wanted to find her before they did. What I was about to do was risky, but I wasn't thinking clearly. That little fucking tease drove me mad.

Riley was already standing at the bar, gulping down a bottle of water, when I found her. I accidentally hit Anna's shoulder as she stumbled past me to go find JD. I ran so fast past her that she didn't even have time to realize it was me or she would have made some rude little comment like she normally did.

Riley placed the half-empty bottle back down on the bar and wiped the sweat off her face. She placed both her hands down on the bar and leaned down like she was trying to catch her breath.

She was vulnerable and completely unaware that I was stalking her like a lion hiding in the grass, waiting patiently to ambush its prey.

I snuck up behind her and stood just close enough to not give myself completely away. I watched her for a few seconds more before taking one half step closer to her body. She went rigid when she realized I was there.

I saw her bottle sitting in front of her on the bar. I was thirsty. Maybe I just needed a little water to cool myself off.

I slid my hand between her hip and under her arm. I wrapped my fingers around the the damp plastic and started to bring it back between her arm and hip. I pressed the cold condensation of the bottle against her skin and she shivered. I pressed my luck a little and ran my fingertips over the moisture it left on her skin. Riley's whole body was trembling as I dragged the bottle and my fingers slowly across the top of her bare hip.

I pressed the bottle up to my lips and began gulping the cool liquid down. I wasn't lying when I said I was thirsty. My mouth felt like a desert in the middle of a drought. I ended up tipping the whole bottle back to finish it as she turned around to face me. She sat there with her lips slightly parted open, watching me.

When I finished, I put the empty bottle down on the bar and stepped into her. She backed up a bit which pinned her between me, the bar, and two stools. If she wanted to go somewhere, she would have to touch me.

I wanted her to touch me.

I looked down to the bare patch of skin above her jeans; it looked so soft and warm. My brain lost control of my hands which went immediately to the button I wanted so badly to undo. I trailed my fingers over her skin and started playing with the little metal piece, pushing the edge of it towards the little hole that was holding it in place. She looked up into my eyes nervously and then back down to where I was touching her.

"You looked like you were enjoying yourself." I leaned into her and lowered my mouth closer to her ear.

"It was... umm..." She mumbled as she looked down at my fingers.

"So, you like watching me play?" I purred at her. Her already large eyes got wider when she looked up. Her pouty lips were calling my name.

Fuck, I wanted to kiss those lips.

I started leaning in further to get my first taste of her as my hand started to unhook the button. She caught me off guard when she pushed me away hard.

I was annoyed. Why was she pretending like she didn't want this too?

"You guys were so good," Anna screamed behind me. I jumped back from her, hitting my foot on the bar stool as I did. I stumbled and caught myself on the edge of the bar.

No one even batted an eye or commented on how close I had been to Riley. She must have pushed me away just in time.

Fuck, I couldn't believe they almost saw me.

"What did you think of the show?" Aiden sashayed over to her immediately. He wrapped his arm around her waist and rested his hand on her hip where my fingers were only seconds ago.

"You guys sounded great." She was breathing hard as she looked over at me. I was still breathless from being close to her too. "The first song was my favorite."

"That's my favorite too. Ezra wrote it last week." Aiden said.

"It sounded great." She nodded and smiled. I couldn't take my eyes off her as she struggled to pretend that nothing had just happened.

"Riley, are you coming back to the house? We invited some people over." JD asked, pulling Anna in front of him.

"I packed a bag." Riley chirped back and looked over at me anxiously.

"Let's go." JD commanded.

The rest of the group fell in line behind JD and started walking towards the exit. JD had set up a plan with Levi to pick our equipment up tomorrow morning since the bar was open for a few more hours and we didn't feel like waiting any longer for the crowd to dwindle down.

I was right at the door getting ready to walk out when I heard my name being called loudly by a female voice. When I turned around to see who was calling me, Cookie and Sean were walking towards me.

"Hey, man. I got those tickets in my car." Sean's shady, rat-like grin greeted me. He nodded towards the side exit and motioned for me to follow.

"Hey, JD." I hollered. JD stopped and let go of Anna to walk back over to me as Aiden, Mark, and Riley walked out of the bar.

"What's up?" JD asked, looking between Sean and me.

"Sean scored some free tickets for us for the Camo concert." I blurted out stupidly. It's not like I had a better story to tell him. I couldn't tell him I was buying the tickets so I could see the look on his little sister's face when she saw them in concert.

Sean's eyebrows pulled up and he looked confused, but luckily for me, he decided to keep his big mouth shut.

"No shit." JD's eyes lit up excitedly.

"Yeah, I'm going to head to his car to get them now. I'll be back in a second." I said.

"Don't take too long. Anna is starting to get whiney and I don't want to have to listen to her complain or fight with you on the whole car ride home." JD rolled his eyes.

"I can give Ezra a ride home so you don't have to wait." Cookie interjected.

JD turned his head when she spoke and his eyes scanned up and down her body. He was enjoying what he saw. He grinned like a fool as he stared at her. He reached his hand up and patted my back, prematurely congratulating me for what he suspected was my next conquest.

"That sounds like a great idea." JD gushed. "Ezra, enjoy your ride."

"Oh, I'll make sure he does." Cookie winked at JD and blew him a kiss. JD's cheeks turned bright red and he looked down at his feet when she gave him her attention.

How the hell was I going to get to sneak around to follow Riley around at the house tonight when I couldn't scrape this fucking purple gum from the bottom of my shoe?

I could probably just let Cookie blow me in the parking lot and get it over with so she would go away. I could devote all my attention back to Riley without the unwanted distraction hanging on me all night.

Cookie looked at my pants hungrily. She had those crazy, psychotic eyes that said stay far away. Letting her go down on me was probably not the best idea. She looked like the type that once she sunk her teeth into me, she would cling on. I didn't have any intention of turning this into a regular thing. I already had Mia's crazy ass hounding me. I didn't need another.

Mark might be in need of a friend tonight. He sure as hell would never find one on his own. He wouldn't even turn his movies off long enough to go look for one. He was lazy and could use a regular hook-up that would chase him around.

I had my plan. I was going to nudge Cookie in his direction; she would never even notice.

I nodded at JD and motioned for Cookie and Sean to follow me towards the side exit to get the tickets. I had to make this transaction quick.

I had a hot blond that I had every intention of torturing tonight with my presence.
