It was 4 pm and Ryan could see Lawrence standing in front of the old house as he approached, along with Lya and Mahlik. Ryan went up to him as they stayed behind. Lawrence didn't look up as Ryan stood beside him, he just stared straight ahead at the house.

"I used to live there," he said without turning to Ryan. "Now look what it has become."

Ryan looked at the house. It was hard to imagine it once looked like the house in the newspaper article.

"Is she here?" This time Lawrence turned to Ryan.

"She said she can't leave the house. I think we would have to go inside," Ryan said. Lawrence drew his lips in a thin line.

Then beside a tree in the front yard, a figure faded into view. It was Nancy and her eyes were set on Lawrence.

"She's here now and she recognizes you." He started walking on the overgrown grass and then Lawrence followed behind him. He stopped in front of her and knelt down. "She's right in front of me."

"You came back?" Nancy tilted her head up at Lawrence as she spoke. She picked at her fingernails as she looked at her hands. "Why did you leave? It's not fair, I did nothing wrong! I know what I saw."

Ryan looked up at Lawrence beside him and repeated what Nancy said.

"Nancy you're-" Lawrence's brows furrowed as he shook his head. "Oh god. She doesn't know. She thinks..." he trailed off. He put his face in his hand, continuing to shake his head. "It's my fault. I'm the reason this happened to you."

Ryan raised an eyebrow at Lawrence. "What do you mean?" But Lawrence ignored his comment.

"I could have stopped it." Lawrence stared at where he supposedly thought Nancy was standing with a pained expression. "I'm sorry I didn't believe you."

"Lawrence, do you know what happened to her?" Ryan asked. Larence looked at him, his eyes wet and red. "If you do, tell me. Myrtle still wants to know and she won't leave my head until she does."

Lawrence shook his head and closed his eyes. "Myrtle already knows."

"Wh-"

"I could see it in her eyes after Nancy died." Ryan stared at him with his mouth half open. He looked at Lya and Mahlik to see if they heard what he said. Lya had her hand over her mouth. He looked back at Lawrence as he continued, "At first I didn't believe you when you told me Myrtle wanted you to find Nancy's killer but then it made sense. She didn't want to believe it."

"Who did it?" Ryan asked. Lawrence drew his lips in a thin line avoiding Ryan's gaze.

Lawrence turned to where he thought Nancy was standing. He sighed deeply and then said, "Nancy, you were right. He killed my parents and then he killed you."
