Everyone spun around when the door had opened and most eyes grew angry while I smiled. "Julian." I said and ran to the door, my voice sounded weird and then I realized it was because Sage said the same thing at the same time. He just nodded to her and came over to me. "How do I get you out of here Commander?" He asked and I scrunched up my face in distaste but quickly moved on seeing as we didn't have a whole bunch of time. "Call me Naomi." "The shark Sleigher!" Cheered Ricky and I rolled my eyes before turning back to Julian with a faint smile playing on my lips.

"The keys should be with the guards outside the door, did they just let you in here?" I asked and he shrugged, "We knocked the two men out so you and one person can escape, but they need to be tall because they need to fit the guards clothes. I can't sneak anyone out without suspicion and so they need to look the part, at least until we reach Susan." He said and I frowned, but nodded. "I can't go with you, they specifically know my face and so if I'm noticed missing, it puts us all at risk. I don't like playing with peoples lives but take Ricky and..." I scanned the crowed and frowned when Ricky hadn't budged yet while looking for the other person I'd choose.

"Ricky and Aña, the two of you go and get shelter or Ricky can be a guard but the two of you go." I said and I felt bad seeing all of the eyes that weren't chosen loose hope, it broke my heart. Maybe they would die because of my decision. I really wanted to get Mina and my mom out but Mina was too small and they'd realize my mother was missing if she left as well. I gave Ricky a pleading look and he punched the wall before standing up. "If it wouldn't be ignoring a direct order from you I would stay. You better not die because Jason and I will keep bringing you back and killing you oursleves."

He grumbled before surprisingly pulling me in for a big hug and then left while Aña looked sadly at me and nodded her head in respect. Julian had returned with the keys and the two quickly changed and Julian led them away while Sage tried to start with me. "Must hurt to have to choose your favorites over the rest of your little pack huh?" She said and some kids gasped thinking I had chosen favorites to leave rather than them. "Speaking without a purpose will get you nowhere Sage and seeing as how I now run your so called pack shows who's a better leader by a long shot. I would never choose favorites over the others and for you to insinuate that is annoying."

I got up in her face and the other backed up, pulling my mom back so she wouldn't get into it. "Unlike you and your pathetic attempts to kill me, I will always be and am, a better leader then you are or ever will be. Excuse me for calling you out but I don't quite like you and how you run things especially since your not that much older than me. I get your attitude, I've heard your story but there's no reason to take things out on me for being myself."

She had been slowly backing up and I hadn't realized how mean I was being but I guess it might have actually scared the monstrous girl she had become. "If you wish to fight then by all means let's do it right here and right now, why use weapons? We all know you only won the fight with bamboo because you had your people help you cheat and you took cheap shots at my back while I was down but in the fist fight!" I was in her face up close and personal and I wasn't sure where this side of me was coming from.

"In the fist fight I trashed you and you cheated again to have your people pull me away and not finish you. I have given you no real reason not to like me and if competition scares you I'd hate to say I'm way in the lead so you need to back down already. I'm trying to help get you, them, everyone home and you keep getting in my way! Back down and join us or back off and leave, I am tired of you and your pitty attempts to ruin everyone's lives and keep them on this island. I want to go home and I know darn well they all do so sorry if you don't but were getting off of this island one way or another." I said through gritted teeth and walked away as the door opened again, expecting it to be Julian or Ricky.

I growled and glared at at the man as he came in and smiled wickedly at me. Sage had cowered back into the corner and sat down with the rest of the people while I stood with eyes locked on him. "What now?" I asked him and he wagged his pointer finger back and forth at me, not saying a word as other men came in and handed him a sheet. He looked boredly at us and then frowened at me. "I'll just have to get you later." He sighed as though I was some toy he didn't feel like playing with at the time.

"Have you seen Marshall and Truman?" He asked the two new guards and they shrugged. "Went to lunch." The guy muttered something under his breath and looked at those behind me. "When I say your name you will line up at the door, no questions asked and don't try anything." He said the last part more or so for me since he gave me a special glare once it was said. One guard covered the door to the exit and the other stood by the door to the cell.

"Annemarie Jones, Heather Newport, Jacob Hughes, Joseph O'Donnell, Kaitlyn Church, Mina Douglas,-" "What's this list for?" I demanded while some of the kids called started crying and Mina ran for me. They aimed their guns at her and something flickered in the guys eyes when he saw our bond. "Oh yes, the girl who messed up my guards to protect her sister-like peer. What the list is for does not concern you seeing as you are not on the list."

"You can't have them, you can't have HER." I said fiercely as the others looked at me with a plea of help etched onto their faces. He just laughed at me and the other men stood confused as too whether I would fight then or if I was just throwing out open threats. "You touch them and I kill you." I said as I mainly glared at the two extra guards and the guy stopped laughing. "If I knew you were this fiesty back when you were on the boat I would have tried harder to keep you around, at least for a bit longer. Your people still haven't given me the name of their leader and so until you do, the names on this list will start being... Checked off if you follow."

He smiled and gestured towards the group. "I don't do to kindly to threats Mr...." "My name is of no concern to you but we certainly aren't scared of one little girls threats when we can obviously overpower her so step aside young Naomi." When I didn't step aside and he realized that I wasn't planning on it, he huffed and headed to the cage himself but froze when someone spoke up. "Wait!" I scanned everyone and glared, all's she had to do was keep her mouth shut and I would have everyone out safely one way or another but of course she just had to step in.

His eyes roamed the crowd and smiled at her as she spoke. "If you can garentee the freedom of all of these people then I will give you the name of their leader." She said and returned his evil smile as he thought over her offer. "What's in this for you?" He asked, not quite sure if he should trust her or not. "Their freedom and I become their new leader." She said and he laughed at her thought of becoming their next leader.

"Women don't lead, their dumb, unfit, and they lack the power to keep everyone in control." He said and I tried to hide my smirk at how completely wrong he was. I guess everyone else found it slightly funny but no one dared laugh, they were all shocked at her actions. Even the people who came here with here stepped away from her and joined my people, leaving her on her own. She tried to mask the hurt and jealousy she felt but I saw through her mask as she spoke with the man. "Do we have a deal or not?"

She glared, regaining her malicious smile and locking eyes with him to show that she wasn't joking around. "You sure are one twisted girl, but I guess that's how all teens act." "I wouldn't know, I've been on this island since I was ten." She shrugged as if it was nothing and he looked at her shocked, while I was only just realizing how old she actually looked. And to think the when she first came, I thought she was Mina's age.

She was definitely older than me, I just wasn't sure exactly how much older. He waited for her to say it and she laughed, "do I look dumb to you? I know that if I tell you who it is now that I won't be freed, I'll tell you who it is once I'm safely out of that door." He seemed to have thought she was that dumb based off of his facial reactions but he finally nodded and unlocked the door to the cage before motioning for the other guard to unlock the other door.

They didn't open the door yet and I wasn't sure if I fully trusted him. Sage walked out happily with a huge smirk on her face before turning around at the door, surprised that no one followed her. Her surprise quickly turned to jealousy once more and then anger, to then mischief. "I'm waiting for the name." Said the man annoyed and bored of her already and she rolled her eyes. "Open the door then." She commanded and he laughed, not until you give the name, then I will be more than happy to be rid of you." He said and she looked a little hurt at his words and then covered it up.

"I won't give the name until the door is opened and I know we will be freed for sure." She said and she was doing the right thing besides selling me out to die, at least the others would survive. "I don't need the name, I already have my guesses and I could just kill you." He said which made her gulp, but once again she acted unchanged. "What are your guess's?" She smirked and he rolled his eyes like she was dumb. "That boy Naomi's always with, he ruined our moment together, though I would have came after him after." He said before winking over at me and I felt my tempature rising.

She laughed wickedly at him and he frowned angrily. "Then who is it? Another male in this room or is it the other boy with them?" He asked angrily and she smirked, waving the answer in front of him teasignly like the keys to your parents vehicle. "It isn't a man at all, well I guess she acts like one." She said and I rolled my eyes at her comment but froze when he had his blade to her throat. Even though she was an evil brat, I didn't want her to be killed especially by him. "Is it you, is that why your trying to escape, to trick me and be free then?" He asked angrily and she looked scared, no longer masking it and shaking her head no to him.

"Then who is it??" He angrily yelled, digging the blade in enough to make her get a tiny cut. She locked eyes with me and slowly lifted up her finger to point, and I kept my glare on her until his eyes followed her finger and then our eyes locked. "You? All along it was you! You were right under my nose all along and yet I had no clue but you! Oh this is going to be much more fun for me and much more painful for you than I had expected." He smiled wickedly at me and then released Sage. "I am a man of my word so you may leave."

He said to Sage with the wave of his hand, not even caring to look back at her. "I need my people." She said and he scoffed annoyed. "Just take them, I've got what I've been looking for." He smirked evily at me and yet no one left. All stood by my side and either stood shocked or sent Sage waves of dirty and angry looks. "You guys go, save yourselves and I'll join you shortly." I said and no one moved, teary eyed for me for once and even Sage's people had joined in the wait for me. My eyes got a bit teary eyed but I wasn't going to show him any weakness and keep them locked away with me.

"That's an oder. Go!" I yelled and some flinched before guiltily looking at me with sad eyes and once one began to leave, many followed suit. My mother headed towards me with tears and I looked at those still left. "Amanda get her out of here." I yelled as I pointed to my mom and she and Crystal pulled her with them against her will. My mother fought to stay with me but then she was across the room and I realized that Mina was still behind me. "Mina you need to go, your not safe here." I said and she began to sob.

"Jimmy would want me to stay with you." She said and I shook my head as tears threatened to leak. "He would want you to live and not foolishly stay behind." I said and she tilted her head. "Your staying behind." I gave her a tiny laugh and wiped her tears. "Because I am foolish and I need to deal with him. You go with the others and I'll be with you soon." I said and kissed her forehead and she nodded before hesitantly leaving me.

She was almost out of the cage when I heard a loud noise, it sounded like a loud pang as if something heavy and metal had been dropped but then I saw her fall, followed by a high pitched noise as I ran to her side. I then realized the high pitched noise was my screaming and saw amanda tackle the man. The door was flung open and I didn't understand what all was happening while I cried and held her body, only focusing on her instead of my surroundings.

"Your gunna' be okay, your gunna' be okay." I said over and over to her, I wasn't sure anymore if it was me trying to assure her or to assure myself anymore. She gave me a weak smile as her shirt started to soak through with blood. Her hand touched my cheek and she gave my hand a light squeez before she began to talk. "I'm going to get to see Jimmy." She said with a happy glimmer in her eyes. "Shhh don't talk too much, it will waist your energy." I said and she gave me another tiny smirk.

"You don't have to stay here with me, its not worth your life." She said and I shook my head. "I'm staying with you until help comes. "No ones coming Naomi, the place is going to collaspe, you need to go." She said and I looked at her confused before looking up at my surroundings for the first time. The place was ablaze and the building truly was collapsing. The man was stuck under a large piece of the building that had fallen on him and Amanda lay on the floor with something trapping her ankle. She seemed unconscious but I couldn't leave Mina behind.

"Mina we need to leave, I'm going to carry you." I said and then looked down at her. Her eyes were now closed and her body lay still. "Mina?" I shook her lightly and she didn't budge. "Mina??" Tears flowed down my cheeks in a series of waves and to say I gave the water works was an understatement. I heard a groan and gasped but then realsied that it hasn't come from Mina. Amanda was holding her head and I knew I had to save her over mina since she was still alive but it killed me. Maybe I could somehow manage to get both of them out. I thought to myself but knew I had to act quickly because I heard a crack and knew the building was going to crumble.

"Mina I'm so sorry, I failed you and I'm sorry Jimmy I failed you too." I sobbed before gently placing Mina's body down and running as best as I could for Amanda. With all of the adrenaline I had, I forgot that I had been stabbed in the leg earlier by that guy. As I made my way for amanda he grabbed my leg, I was surprised he was still alive. "Help me!" He begged and I felt terrible but I kicked him and left him there.

"Its your fault shes dead! You did this too her!" He deserved to suffer for what he did to Mina but I still felt bad about leaving him. "You little-" I cut him off and smirked. "I'm a girl, their dumb remember? sorry." I smirked before whipping around and heading for Amanda once more. I wasn't exactly to was going tto get the two of us out but I had to try, even if it meant that I would be left behind.

Even if I wanted to help him I couldn't and I needed to get Amanda to safety first. "Naomi? Naomi!" She cheered and begged me for help as though that wasn't why I had ran over to her in the first place. "I have to move the rock." I said as I squatted down to try and get a better hold on the big, heavy looking piece of ceiling that had landed on her. I was struggling to pick it up when I felt a tap on my shoulder and looked to see Julian. I hugged him tightly and he helped me pick up the rock and get it off of her.

He picked up Amanda and so I ran back over to Mina and carried her body out as well. I knew that she was dead but I wasn't going to let her be smushed by the building even so. I would burry her next to Jimmy once we get back to base. I followed Julian as we ran from the building and we got out just in time to hear the building collapse. I laid Mina down and placed Julian's uniform top over her body for now to cover her in respects that no one sees her closed eyes and fragile little body.

I was still crying about her and my mother ran over and hugged me. "I'm so happy your alive!" She cried and I just grew extremely angry. "How long have you been a part of this! Huh?" I grew angry and my tears were angry because she was the reason that Mina was here, maybe even Aña and Sage. She looked at me shocked and before she could respond, Liz and Matt tackled me with a big hug.

"Don't you ever do that again! We thought he killed you." And then I realized Liz was crying, I think it was the first time I had seen her cry since we got on this island and they were worried tears for me. "It was so hard to keep myself from going after you, imagine holding her and Jason back." Glared Matt before engulfing me in another huge hug. My mother just stood their frozen, Still shocked in sadness that I knew about her part and maybe also that I had like fiffty times more friends than I had my entire life.

"Naomi." I was shocked to hear such an angry yell for my name; but when I turned and saw Jason, it was more or so worry than anger but the site of him was much needed after what I had gone through. Before I could speak, he cupped my face and smashed his lips to mine. I kissed him back and he pulled me in for a tight hug at the same time before releasing my lips and letting it become a tightly embraced hug. "What. Who the hell is he?" All eyes shot over to my freaked out mother staring in horror at what she just saw.

"Who is she?" All mouths mouthed to me and I whispered into Jason's ear. His eyes grew wide with a tiny blush on his face as he extended his hand to greet my mom. "Its nice to finally meet you ma'am, I'm Jason her boyfriend and son of your ex-partner." He said and she looked shocked before saying "no." "No?" I asked and she pointed between us. "No, not gunna happen." She said and I rolled my eyes at her suddenly trying to control me when its her fault everyone's here, well partly. I would have that conversation another time, but definetly not right now. I then turned my atrention back to Jason, who was awefuy quiet. His eyes were focused on the tiny body on the ground that my mother apparently hadn't seen because she gasped and covered her mouth before looking at me in realization.

I wasn't going to cry right now, not with everyone around. "Jason can you please grab..... Please grab.." This was a whole lot harder than I thought and he hugged me again. "I've got it." He said and I nodded before walking off with Liz, my mother in tow. With sights on me, everyone began to head over as if I had a magnet connection. I looked over to everyone on Sage's side and they all stood quiet. "Head back to your base and grab everything you need. Let the prisoners come with you on your way back to my base, I have an idea."

I said and they nodded before running into the woods and towards their base. I looked over to my increasingly small group and nodded in the direction of the shrore as I began to head the way I nodded which was home. No one dared to speak as we
