I fasten my seatbelt and keep the curtain draped over the window beside me so that I don't have to look at Noah standing outside. The look he gave me after I lied to him — to myself — that I never loved him will scar me for the rest of my life.

My brothers board the plane; Jacob first, and he gives me a baffled look. I know that he's just as confused as I am.

When Liam gets on, I can't bring myself to look at him. I know that if I do, I will go off. Luckily, Jacob takes the cushioned chair across from me so that Liam's not in my view unless I turn to my left.

"Fee," Liam calls my name, and I keep telling myself to just ignore the sound of his voice. I feel his gaze on me, though, and it takes everything in me to not look his way. "Fee, will you look at me, please?" I wipe the tear from my eye before turning my head to face him. "I'm sorry," is all he says once we make eye contact.

I stare at him coldly. He's sorry? That's it? It's like he expects two words to cure the emotional pain that I'm going through right now. Unfortunately, 'sorry' is not going to cut it.

Jacob sits there, but I can tell that he's on the verge of losing his cool and coming to my defense.

"No, you're not," I say calmly. It takes everything in me to remain tranquil. "Let me ask you something Liam, was it your idea or his?"

Liam stares at me, clearly not expecting the question. "It's not that simple."

"Just answer the question," I close my eyes and order. "I think you owe me at least that."

"His," Liam finally replies, and I'm taken aback. I was hoping that Liam had everything to do with this. "He texted me last night and told me that he was going to drop you at the airport. He didn't say why. All he said was to pack your stuff and not tell you."

I take a deep breath in, hating every single word that I'm hearing right now, but I need to know more. I need to know why Noah did this, and more importantly, why he chose to keep it from me.

"Why?" I ask.

"I don't know. He didn't give me a reason. I thought you guys had a fight or something." Liam reaches for my hand but I jerk it away. "Fee, I promise I had nothing to do with this."

As much as I don't want to admit it, I believe Liam. He wouldn't have gotten me that ticket if he didn't want me to stay.

Why Noah did this, I'll never know. I never want to know. And I never want to see him again.

Luckily, I won't have to. Like he said, we're worlds apart.
