"If you're going to live forever it wouldn't be too much of me to ask you to spend your time with me till the day I wither away and die, would it?"

I ask him.

"Is this your weird way of asking me to marry you?"

He smirks.

"Who'd marry a curse?"

I chuckled.

We heard some noises nearby maybe humans.

"Hey!! What are you doing here this place is forbidden to enter-"

"OH MY GOD IS THAT SUKUNA!?"

Some woman yells and all the men charge towards us with their swords drawn.

"Quickly kill that girl and that wicked curse! I'm sure she's as evil as him!"

Huh? We aren't even doing anything to them why are they attacking us!?

A man comes close to stabbing me when Sukuna grabs onto the sword with his bare hands.

How could human's be such disgusting creatures, but then I remembered that they're humans after all flawed and weak.

Sukuna's mood was ruined I could tell he was not happy to be interrupted. I felt a slight chill down my spine as he placed his hand on my shoulder and asked.

"Do you want to see these people die?"

He whispered in my ear in a deep voice.

"I'd prefer not to."

As soon as I say this he covers my eyes with his hand hugging me from the back.

After that, all I could hear was human's screams and the sound of bodies falling to the ground.

He moves his hand after it's done and all I can see is a puddle of red.

He hugs me with both his hands resting on my shoulder and his chin on my head.

"Did you feel bad for these humans?"

He asks.

"I couldn't care less about some idiotic humans dying because of their own foolishness."

That answer sparked curiosity and joy in his eyes.

"You truly are amusing."

He carries me again as we fly off into the sky.

I lay my head on his chest.

"Are you tired?"

He asks.

"Anyone would be."

I sigh.

His chest, his rough hands gently holding me and warmth felt comforting even if he wasn't a human.

While we were flying he asks me,

"Is there anywhere you want to go?"

Now that was something I wasn't prepared to answer. I had no idea what I wanted to do much less anywhere I'd want to go. Then it hit me.

"Can we go to the graveyard near the shrine?"

I ask.

"That's a weird request but fine."

We reach the graveyard and he puts me down. We walk around for a few minutes till I find it and sit down.

"Is this-?"

"It's my parents grave."

I tell him before he could complete his sentence. I look at the grave and see flowers growing next to it, I finally felt at peace.

"I'm sorry I couldn't come to see you earlier mom and dad."

I place my hand on the gravestone and then get up.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay longer?"

He asks.

I didn't need to just come here was enough for me.

"I'm sure, I just wanted to come here once at least."

I held onto his yukata.

"Let's go."

We walk on our way back to the castle.

It had gotten late so we just decided to eat and sleep. Once again we ate together and slept together. There was a comforting silence between us. This time I hugged him from the back he turns over and hugs me back, patting my head till I fall asleep.

I get up late the next morning I get up late and see that the bed was empty, he wasn't there. Where did he go?

I waited the whole day for him to come back but he didn't and so the days went on day after day I'd sit at my window in my bed alone waiting for him to come back.

Sudden one day I hear loud bells and people marching towards the castle. It was the priests from the church claiming that there was an evil spirit here. I ran down to stop them.

"Stop! There's no one here except me! I'm a human!"

"She's lying! Capture that witch if we harm her the curse called Ryomen Sukuna will come for her!"

They shot arrows with fire towards me I ran back into the castle and started panicking about what should I do. I head out the back exit and ran as fast as I could as far as I could before I reached the graveyard where my parents were buried.

I finally sit down behind a tree gasping for breath. Is this it? Am I going to die without meeting him again?

The thought of never meeting him again hurt me like someone was ripping my heart right out of my chest.

"There she is catch that woman!"

They found and surrounded me. I begged them to let me go.

"I'm just a human like you! I'm not a witch!! Why can't you see that!?"

Two men grab me forcing me down on my knees.

"Silence wretched woman you've been seen with that curse everywhere don't you dare deny it!"

He draws his katana and rips off my clothes and orders the men to make me stand so that everyone could see what they do to humiliate and kill witches.

The crowd starts cheering for them. They look at me with disgust and hatred in their eyes.

"Purify that woman!"

"Burn that witch!"

"May God punish her for her sins."

The priest slowly runs his sword on my stomach not deep enough to kill me but to leave a scar.

"Behold the moment we erase evil from this world!"

The priest screams at me before he steps back and takes a huge swing with the intention of killing me.

I close my eyes thinking about him for the last time.

There was a loud thunderbolt that hit the ground people screaming everyone's head's flying off, instant death. The men holding me also die and as I was about to fall a tall large figure holds me they take off their Haori and cover me.

I look up to see who was it and tears start rolling down my cheeks.

Without saying anything he stomps on the priests head again and again in pure rage.

"Sukuna.."

My voice was trembling.

His eyes looked pained with saddens anger and guilt when he looked at me.

He just looked at me through the entire time we walked back to the castle, he laid me down on the bed and wiped my wound with a cold wet cloth. He then dressed me up and wiped my tears as he sat down in front of me. I got up and sat on the bed. I wanted to ask him so many things like,
Where was he?
Why didn't he come back sooner?
What had he been doing all this time?
Why did he just leave me like that?
But I just couldn't say anything my mouth was open but the words won't come out.

He kisses my hand and I feel a drop of tear on it.

That was enough for me to finally let it all out. I cried and screamed as I've never cried before. He hugs me and lets me bury myself in his hug and cry till I couldn't cry anymore, he then wipes my tears.
