Sora's pov

"I'm not interested." I snapped at the tenth person who tried to speak to me.

I sighed and rubbed my face. I had gone back inside, forced everyone else outside, and was trying to relax on the couch.

Why was I in such a bad mood?

Reagan and Carrots were who knows where.

Rowan was being flirted with by a million girls.

And Roman was an asshole. A very hot asshole who I loved very much. Who was busy as well, with a crowd of adoring girls.

So, I was pouting, but in style.

Shit, even Whiskey was having more fun than me, I could hear a crowd chanting his name from in here!

This is ridiculous! I have four men, and they're all busy! I whined and paused as my phone rang.

My breath caught at the caller Id.

My quivering fingers hesitated over the buttons, before finally I answered.

"Father, why are you calling me at one in the morning? I was sleeping you know."

There was a long ten seconds before he replied.

"It's the anniversary of Clara's death."

I swallowed thickly.

"Why must you do that? You could have said your mother, or my ex wife." I muttered.

You might be wondering, was it my mother's tragic death that made my father into what he is?

Well it's not.

It was me. My fault.

I made my father into the monster he is.

"I figured I would remind you to pay respects."

I clenched my jaw. "I don't know why you have to call to tell me, when you're the one who wouldn't let me pay respects when I lived with you."

Before I was born, my parents were happy, and very in love. That all changed when I came into the picture.

My father obsessed with the idea of having a perfect child, along with a perfect wife.

Selfishly, unknowingly, I decided to do the opposite of what He wanted. I got into trouble, cursed, stayed out late. That sort of thing.

He went ballistic, and my mother couldn't handle it. she left, and then I was alone with him.

She died when I turned fifteen, and then I ran away from home.

I only managed to evade him until I was sixteen.

I was dragged back home, not even allowed to leave the house for the longest time.

Then when I turned eighteen I got my chance. I moved out, had a boyfriend, and life was good.

But when everything started crashing down again, I met Rowan, and things weren't so bad.

"Sora, I apologize for upsetting you. In fact, I wanted to offer you something."

I nibbled on my bottom lip.

"What?" I said simply.

He inhaled, seeming stunned I had given him a chance.

"Come to one of my mansions, you can even have it if you want! I just want one dinner. Name your price."

I clenched my jaw.

"I don't want anything from you." I paused and pursed my lips. "One dinner. That's it."

"Sora! Thank you! You won't regret it!"

I scoffed and rubbed my thighs uneasily. Gosh, I feel like I'm being stared at right now.

"If that's all-" a flash filled the room making my eyes go wide. I jumped to my feet and looked around heart pounding painfully. "Oh, my god." I said shaking from head to toe.

"Sora, what's wrong?" My father questioned.

I hung up and about bolted outside.

As much as I want to jump into Roman's secure arms, Reagan is in this house too.

I gulped and took one step forward. I looked down at my frozen legs.

"Move ur ass!" I whispered to myself. I closed my eyes and counted to three before finally running out of the living and past the hall.

I looked left and right, but seeing no one, threw open the door to Reagan's room.

"Reagan you- what, what are you two doing?" I paused fear forgotten as I took in what was happening in the room before me.

Reagan and Carrots were on the bed, and they were-

"Are you two snuggling?" I asked blinking.

Carrots nodded while Reagan flushed.

"Yes, I read it's good to cuddle after you know." Carrots told me.

You know?

"What have you been reading?"

Carrots shrugged. "Rowan's books."

My eyes went wide.

"You remember what happened to Tweety when she touched that shit right?"

Carrots shrugged.

I kept staring at them, head churning with thoughts. "Did you have sex?"

Reagan choked and struggled to get free of Carrots.

Carrots was unwilling however, and held him tighter. Reagan let out a squeak, face red. "I sucked him." Carrots said proudly.

Reagan groaned and covered his face.

I nodded blinking.

"Oh, alright, wait, I came here for a reason."

Carrots perked up. "To join in?"

I grinned then paused. "No, pretty sure that wasn't it, great idea, but- oh yeah." My shoulders fell and I leaned on the door.

"Pretty sure Warren made an appearance at our party."

This time when Reagan tried to pull away, Carrots let him.

"What?! Sora, a-are you okay?" Reagan asked eyes wide. His face was pale, and whole body shaking.

I smiled. "Fine, however, I should call Ren. Where did he run off too anyway?"

Carrots stood and cupped my hands. "You're shaking as well, sit down Sora."

I didn't get the chance to sit myself, my knees buckled and Carrots set me down on the bed.

"How could you have a normal conversation after that?" Carrots asked, setting Reagan beside me as well.

I cracked a smile.

"Reagan and you in a bed was distracting enough that I forgot I guess."

I rubbed my cold hands together.

Carrots glanced between us. "I'll get Roman and have Rowan call Ren."

I nodded. Thank goodness.

What do you guys think about Sora's backstory? It's chapter 40, and I just now got to it. Also- chapter 40?! Since when? Things moved by so fast!
