yoongi's hands were shaking, he didn't even have time to ask any questions before he heard the click of the call ending. the boy could feel his heart breaking by the second.
taehyung and yoongi weren't even official yet but he felt like tae was the only boy that truly understood him. the part that hurt him most was that taehyung seemed like he was forced to do this to yoongi. both of the boys had to keep reassuring themselves that it was just a fling.
as you know yoongi's favorite days were always mondays but this monday was probably going to be the worst day of his life.

for taehyung, monday's were his least favorite day of the week but usually he didn't have a reason why. however it was pretty clear they both would be dreading today.
yoongi thought that if he was there first it would be a little less awkward for him. the shorter didn't really feel like dressing up today, he didn't find a need to impress anyone. once yoongi arrived at the flower shop he took a seat behind the cash register waiting for the place to open. eventually taehyung came in with shrugging shoulders. was taehyung crying? his eyes were puffy and it was clear to see he hadn't gotten much sleep the previous night. at that moment it hit yoongi that poppy was on vacation all week and that he would be stuck alone with taehyung for five days straight. and to make matters even worse taehyung was completely against talking to yoongi. it felt like the longest day the older had ever experienced. his heart was hurting even more with each glance of the other.
taehyung was surprised with how productive he had been that day, he figured that doing his actual job was the only way he wouldn't burst out into tears and tell yoongi everything that was going on. taehyung had no clue what he was going to do, he had to figure something out. he needed too. the boy knew what he was doing was wrong but he knew yoongi well enough by now. with or without yoongi's stutters if the boy knew, he would for sure get in some serious trouble. taehyung was trying his best to protect both of the boys, but he could NOT let jungkook ruin the rest of his life.
the day was about to end, yoongi had not spoken a complete word to the other. he would try his best to look at tae to get his attention but the other always turned away. at this point yoongi wasn't sad, he was angry. the boy watched the taller walk out of the store and almost immediately started following him. "taehyung look at me" yoongi yelled, he was so determined to talk to taehyung his stutters had no chance.
taehyung stopped walking and turned around, "i'm straight bub-" taehyung shook his head, "yoongi" continuing to run all the way home, leaving yoongi alone
