yoongi went as fast as he could to get to the store. he could see the flashing lights of a police car from a distance. yoongi had to speak to a officer to get in, "i-i-i w-work h-here" yoongi nervously said, yoongi expected that the officer would let him straight in but instead he was asked questions,
"were you the last one in the flower shop?" the female asked yoongi
yoongi couldn't stop fidgeting, "n-no, my c-co worker and h-his girlf-friend were l-last" yoongi replied, soon after the police nodded for yoongi to go in. the boy couldn't believe his eyes. the place was filled with adults in police uniforms. yoongi scouted out for poppy, and headed over to her as soon as he saw her.
"yoongs look mr. b is here" poppy said to yoongi
mr. b was the owner of the flower store, it had been the first time all three of the coworkers had seen him since the first day of the season. yoongi couldn't even relate to mr. b's pain, he knew how much the elder had put into this store and now the place was completely trashed.
glass was everywhere and whoever broken in had taken scissors to the flowers. "last i heard you were closing, what happened?" poppy asked yoongi.

the boy had told poppy that him and taehyung were no longer talking as more than friends but he hadn't told her every little detail, especially how much taehyung meant to yoongi. "f-funny story." yoongi fake laughed, "t-taehyung's new g-girlfriend walked in a-at the end of t-the day and i got a-angry so i told him to l-lock up" yoongi said sheepishly.
poppy sighed, "i wonder what that happened, it's not like they were making out and just dipped right?" poppy said trying to make a joke
the boy appreciated her attempt, "i'm pretty s-sure that's e-exactly what they d-did" yoongi spoke.
all of a sudden taehyung came running into the store, out of breath. "i'm here! i'm here! what happened?" taehyung was star struck, he couldn't believe the mess either. yoongi and poppy didn't move from their spot, instead mr. b walked over to taehyung in tears. the best friends weren't able to hear much but they were able to grasp the main idea of the conversation.
"do you know how much this place meant to me"
"i'm sorry it was an accident i was distracted"
"taehyung i'm sorry, you've done very little to help out at this boutique. i think it's best if you stop working here"
poppy and yoongi looked at each other and than back at taehyung. the tall boy's eyes were wide open, for a second he looked over at yoongi making direct eye contact and then turning away. mr. b gave him the last instructions about everything he needed to do to be completely free from the flower shop. yoongi was surprised to see taehyung upset about being fired, although he didn't get why. yoongi did his best to act like it was no big deal and spent the rest of the night helping to clean up.
