'Beep beep be-

"Argh" I groaned, pealing my eyes opened.

Blinking rapidly, I tried to adjust my eyes from the harsh sunlight that was seeping through my bedroom window.

Swiftly grabbing ahold of my phone from my bedside table, I turned my annoying alarm off as quickly as I could. Groggily sitting up, I unlocked my phone to check the time.

Widening my eyes at the time, I practically jumped out of bed, landing face first on the floor.

i'm so lucky my bedroom floor is carpet.

Slowly getting up, i couldn't help but wince slightly as a sharp pain shot through my back- no doubt probably from how hard i fell. Stumbling to my bathroom since I was still half asleep, I looked in the mirror to see that I was still in my clothes from yesterday.

Scrunching my nose up, I carefully peeled my clothes off my body, letting them drop onto the floor. Walking over to my shower, I turned it on before stepping in.

I closed my eyes as soon as the water came falling softly onto my back, warmth instantly consuming me. I mentally sighed at how nice the water felt on my aching bones. Trying to savour this moment, I groaned when i realised I couldn't take my time.

Grabbing ahold of my favourite mango body wash, I hurriedly washed my body, before I moved onto my hair. Grabbing the matching mango shampoo and conditioner, I began to scrub my scalp before applying conditioner to the end strands of my hair.

Rinsing the conditioner from my hair, I turned the shower off before twisting my hair around and squeezing the leftover water out. Pulling a towel around myself, I stepped out of the shower, shivering as the cool air hit my exposed skin.

I tiptoed out of the bathroom, leaving a trail of small water droplets behind me. Stepping into my closet, I began to look around in search for something decent to wear for the first day of school.

Trailing my fingers along my clothes,  I decided that I should wear something different to what I would usually wear to school. Instead of reaching for my oversized grey jumper and tracksuit pants, I settled for some denim high waisted short shorts.

Dropping the towel that was wrapped around my body, I grabbed some black lace undergarments from one of my closet draws, before slipping them on. I put on a black singlet top, before slipping the shorts on. Finishing my look off, I added my favourite black doc martens.

Walking over to the full length mirror in the middle of my closet, I checked to see if my outfit choice looked good on. Satisfied with my appearance,  I walked out of my closet and back into my bathroom.

Looking at my reflection in the mirror, I took in my wet mess of light brown hair that fell down my back in light waves, stopping just before my butt. Opening the sink drawer, I carefully got my blow drier out before blow drying my hair dry so I could brush through it easier.

Once my hair was dry, I brushed it and decided to just leave my hair down and move onto my face.

I kept my face makeup simple, by just applying some thick coats of black mascara to the ends of my lashes, making my grey eyes pop. I then applied some pink lip gloss to finish the natural makeup look off.

Checking the time on my phone I saw that it was 7:55.

Walking over to my bed, I grabbed my school bag before running down the stairs and into the kitchen. Walking over to the kitchen bench I found a note addressed to me.

~~

I am at work till late tonight,

I got someone to drop your car off you can chose to drive yourself to school or walk.

Your car is in the driveway as well as your keys.

When you arrive at school go to the front office.

Love you and have fun at school.

Mom XOXO

~~

My heart clenched at the words 'I love you' written at the bottom of the note.

Although this might seem like nothing to most teenage girls, it was a huge deal for me. Those three words was something I was not used to receiving from my mother since my dad died. To see a gesture like this from my mother, made me feel a mix of emotions. It made my heart warm that she was starting to sound like an actual mom to me now, But it also made my stomach turn. It made me feel upset that this wasn't something I was used to.

Staring one last time at the note, I forced myself to turn away, grabbing a granola bar from the cardboard before exiting the kitchen.

Sliding the garage door up, I smirked as soon as I saw my baby.

It was limited edition mercedes, sleek black with rose gold in the wheels.

Not wasting another minute, I practically flew to the door, opening it eagerly before making my way inside. It didn't take me long to find that the keys were already in the key hole.

Zooming out of the garage, I made sure to close it with the remote control attached onto the keychain before making my way onto the buzzing road.

I gazed ahead of me through the front window, taking in my surroundings. The craziness of cars zooming down the road, the sound of honking horns of people that were in a rush to get to work was something that i was going to have to get used to.

The previous homes I had lived in were located in small populated areas, meaning that the roads were nowhere as near busy as these ones.

My mind abruptly came to a stop once I remembered where exactly I was suppose to be driving to.

Does this thing have a GPS or something? Because I have no idea where this Lakewood High school is.

******

I soon found myself coming in view of a massive school.

It was a lot larger than the previous high schools I have attended but it was much more crowded. Piles of students were hanging around the parking lot, groups huddled up amongst each other near the front entrance.

Driving through the big gates, my heart rate instantly began to pick up. Even though I had done this many many times, the anxiety that I felt when entering new high schools never got easier.

Driving through the car park, I finally found a spot next to a sleek black Harley Davidson motorcycle. I stared at the motorbike in complete awe as I parked my car next to it. I looked out of the window, finding that every students heads were turned in my direction.

I bit my lip nervously as the staring continued. I really did not want to get out of this car with everyone looking at me.

The constant nagging of my inner voice inside my head was enough to make me more nervous than I already was. I had a habit to overthink in situations like these.

I shook my head in attempt to get rid of all the negative thoughts, deciding that I had to just get this over and done with.

Taking a deep breath, I opened my car door, slinging my bag over my shoulder before I made my way out. Closing the door behind me, I tried to keep my head held high as I cautiously walked past the deep sea of students.

Walking past people, I rolled my eyes at the girls who death glared me, or gave me judgmental looks up and down.

"Hey new girl!" A guy smirked at me, nodding his head in approval to his friend.

I scowled as guys shouted dirty jokes into my face.

Ignoring my fast thumping heart, I walked up the front steps of the school before entering the building. Walking down the hallway, I could see the front office out of the corner of my eye.

I walked through the hallway that was already buzzing with hushed whispers. Passing by students,   I ignored their curious gazes, managing to hear what some girls were saying.

"who is she?"

"I think she's the new girl"

"She's kind of pretty"

"I think Tiffany has some competition."

My eyebrows raised at the last comment. Who was Tiffany?

My eyes lit up once I saw the front office in view from the huge crowd of students. Making my way inside, I noticed an old lady who sat behind a old wooden desk. Her eyes were fixed on a  computer screen that was in front of her. The lady looked to be in her early 70s with pink rosy cheeks on her old wrinkly skin and grey hair that was pulled up into a loose bun. Her light blue eyes were framed behind thick black glasses as they stared back at the bright computer screen intensively. Looking at her old fashioned clothes, my eyes shifted onto her name tag to see the name Lucy.

"Can I help you dear?" Her sweet voice broke me out of my thoughts. I looked up at her to see her smiling cheerfully at me.

  I smiled back at her, "Hi my name is Heaven Foster, I'm a new student" I replied smoothly.

Lucy smiled warmly at me before clasping her hands together in realisation. "oh yes! welcome to Lakes Wood high dear, here is your schedule, locker number and combo, would you like a map of the school as well?" Her voice was soft as she spoke.

Thanking her, I gave her a wide smile before grabbing the papers from her hand and making my way out of the office.

BRINGGGGGGG!!

Jumping slightly at the bell, I let my ears adjust to the new sound.

Taking out my schedule I looked over my classes;

~~

History

Maths

Break

English

P.E

Lunch

French

Free

~~

I scrunched up my nose, disliking every single one of my classes, besides P.E and a free lesson.

I began to walk to my locker, reading over my schedule one last time. Taking off into a light jog, I turned the corner only to smash straight into a muscular wall.

I shrieked in fright, squinting my eyes shut as i waited for the impact of the ground to hit me.

I waited for the fall but it never came. Two large arms snaked around my waste, steading me onto my feet. I shivered as little shocks prickled up my spine, my cheeks instantly flooding with warmth from this person's touch.

Gulping quietly, I hesitantly opened my eyes to see crystal blue ones staring back at me.

I tried not to gasp as i took in the most gorgeous boy I had ever laid eyes on.

Taking in his features, everything about him was sharp. His jawline was chiseled to perfection. He had high cheekbones that defined his face, and full plump pink lips that looked soft to touch. His jet black hair fell to the side in a quiff. He was wearing a black V neck that hugged his body perfectly. His muscular arms were on display, showing off his large biceps which looked to be the size of my head. He wore dark black jeans and black biker boots. Last but not least, my eyes flickered over to the black ink, trailing up his perfectly tanned arms.

Basically he looked like a complete Bad Boy but there was no lying that this guy was ridiculously hot. He was that breathtaking that it looked like he had just come out of a Calvin Klein magazine.

His gorgeous stormy blue eyes entranced me as they stared into mine with such intensity that I found myself struggling to breathe.

  "Watch where you're going." His deep voice was like velvet to my ears as he spoke.

My mouth opened and closed like a goldfish as I failed to come up with something to say to him.

He legitimately took my breath away.

I looked at him in disbelief, my eyes wide as I cowered back at the snarl he was giving me.

Not bothering to help me pick up my things that had fallen on the floor,  he just began to walk off.

My jaw clicked in annoyance, not expecting him to be this rude.

Who the hell does he think he is?

"You bumped into me asshole!" My hands instantly flew up to my mouth, my eyes wide open in shock.

Shit shit shit I had to open my mouth didn't I?

I tried my best to look like i wasn't intimidated by him as his body turned around in a flash, his eyes fixed on me in a hard glare.

"What the fuck did you just say to me?" He hissed with such venom that it made my insides squirm.

I tried not to flinch at his tone, especially his use of words.

Not taking my eyes away from his, I got my belongings from off the floor, dusting myself off before opening my mouth.

"I don't care who you are, I'm new here and I'd like to go to my class in peace as I am now late. So if you'll excuse me" I smiled sweetly at him, before pushing past him and marching off.

Before I could even walk five steps away from him, I felt his large hand swiftly grasp my wrist, pulling me back against his hard chest.

Tingles shot up my arm at the sudden contact making me mentally scowl at myself.

It has not even been five minutes and his touch is already affecting me? Get a grip Heaven.

His fingers gripped at my wrist so tightly I was afraid it was going to break.  Putting one of his fingers under my chin, he tilted my head up so that i was met with his cold blue eyes.

"You think I give a fuck if your new? You respect me or you'll have another thing coming" he snarled at me.

I only stayed silent in my spot as i watched him storm off.  I closed my eyes, still feeling the warmth of his fingers burning tingly sensations on my skin.

~~~~~~
I was still in a daze as I walked into class. Every students heads turned to me in a flash.
Shifting uncomfortably under their stares, i was forced to look up at the teacher as he spoke.
"And who are you?" A bald man was glaring down at me, irritation evident in his eyes from interrupting his class.
"I'm sorry sir, i'm a new student" I replied cautiously.
"Well you're late!" He yelled, making a scowl instantly form onto my face.
He was so rude!
"Well it's not my fault that I literally crashed into an arrogant jerk on my way here" I shot back, which earned a few snickers from the class.
"language!" he snapped angrily at me.
How was I even using bad language?
"No need to get snappy" I put my hands up in fake surrender, shocked from the sudden confidence that sparked through me.
"I do not tolerate disrespect in my classroom! sit down next to Caroline she will tell you what we are learning about" he gritted his teeth, before turning his back to me.
I rolled my eyes, scanning the crowd of students, before settling my eyes on a pretty blonde girl who was motioning for me to come over to her.
The name Caroline suited her figure well. She was a petite girl with golden blonde hair that reached just below her shoulders and sparkling innocent blue eyes.
"Hey! I'm Caroline OMG your so pretty!" She grinned cheerfully at me, feeling my hair like it was the most interesting thing she has ever seen.
I couldn't help but grin back at her, finding her cheerfulness contagious.
BRINGGGGGGGG
"Come with me!" She squealed, her little body jumping up and down in pure excitement.
I giggled at her in amusement.  There was something special about Caroline that made me instantly drawn to her. Her bubbly personality was a breath of fresh air.
"Oh here give me your schedule!" she gushed, grabbing the piece of paper from my hands eagerly.
"Omg we have every class together besides French!" She squealed at me.
I smirked at her in amusement.
This should be interesting.
