The loud chatter of students consumed my thoughts as soon as i made it past the double doors.

Ducking unknown food that was being flung my way, I ignored the rumble in my stomach and ran through the back door that lead to the football oval outside.

Breathing in the fresh air, I slowed down my pace once I could make out a mop of blonde hair in the distance.

"Hey" she said as I made it to her, sitting down next to her. The blazing hot sun, shon down on us as we sat in silence, looking over the football field.

"I'm going to tell you something that no one can ever know about. I'm trusting you with this." I said.

"I promise. Now spill." She said, clapping her hands together in excitement.

"Start from the beginning." She said. I nodded my head, inhaling slowly.

"As you already know, Blake and I kissed at the beach." I smiled sheepishly at her before telling her everything. Starting from the party, to the beach, to him leaving me, about the Romeo and Juliette play. I told her everything from the restaurant. I poured out all my feelings and worries to her while she just listened carefully, squealing like a normal teenaged girl in some parts.

"So in the end, I like the fucking bad boy and I have a plan to get over him. But I need your help." I concluded my story, giving her a desperate look.

"Wait? So you want to get rid of your feelings for Blake? Why?"

"Because I know he doesn't like me back." I said, playing with my fingers.

"You don't see it do you?" I looked up to see Caroline shaking her head a me. I gave her a confused look, telling her to continue.

"Blake does like you, you idiot! Why do you think he kissed you in the first fricken place? Even from day one, you might think he didn't like you. That he hated you, but you missed all the sideways glances he gave you. He always watched you. You think he walked away from you because he didn't like you? He was probably scared. Think about it Heaven. Even guys have trouble telling someone their feelings. His the Bad boy, he's used to pushing people away. He has never had a girlfriend before. His never liked anyone before. You have got this all wrong." I quickly stopped her before she could say anymore.

"Blake doesn't like me. Well in that way I know he defiantly doesn't like me. " I laughed, looking at her like she's lost her mind.

Blake actually liking me? Pfff.

"I'm not the crazy one here, you are. Everyone else can see it beside you." She said while I shook my head.
"He doesn't l-"

"Your in denial babe." She cut me off. I shook my head in disbelief. She's ruining my plan. She's getting my hopes up. Blake can't like me.

Why would he like me? ME?

"I'm not helping you get over your feelings for Blake. Your feelings won't go away even if you tried. You can develop feelings for someone else but your feelings for Blake will always be there. It's going to end up hurting both of you in the end anyway. I'm not going to help you throw away something that will be good for the both of you. He needs something good in his life. He needs someone to lead him on the right path. He needs light and you are his light."

I stared at Caroline for about five minutes not saying a word.

I was speechless.

Not just because of her wise words but because she won't help me.

"So what do I do now then? Don't you dare give me that look. I'm not agreeing that Blake likes me." I pointed my finger accusingly at her as the big grin on her face widened.

"Caroline you're seriously scaring me. Are you going to help me or not?" I said, standing up.

"You do nothing. Just be your normal beautiful self." She sung, slinging her small puffy pink bag over her shoulder.

"You are of great help." I stated sarcastically.

"You don't need my help." She giggled, rolling her eyes while I glared at her. I followed behind her as she started walking down the stairs.

"Carolinnnnnnne" I whined as she continued walking down the stairs until we were both standing on the soft grass.
I watched her as she checked the time on her watch.

"You can't hear the bell well from the oval. Class is starting in 3 minutes and I don't want to be late." She smiled innocently at me before turning on her heel and walking in the direction of the cafeteria doors.

I stayed put on the spot, glaring daggers at her back.

"So you're just going to leave me now?!" I called after her, crossing my arms angrily over my chest.

"No, I'm going to walk away from you. Stop worrying and just act normal!" She called back.

I slumped down on the grass in defeat.

Define normal?
