Heat pushed in on me as I made my way towards my last class of the day.

The weather was getting warmer which should excite me, but when you are experiencing a 40 degrees day, sharing sweat from the other students pressing up against you in the hallways, it was not fun at all.

Two weeks had already past by, quicker then I could blink. My mother was leaving town for a couple of days to buy fabric for her work so I had been staying home alone which I didn't mind at all. It was now friday and Blake has still been avoiding me like the fricken plague.

Sighing, I pushed open the door to my english classroom. The class had already begun but i managed to sneak behind the teacher, finding a seat next to Caroline. The careless chattering of students increased as Mrs Petri discussed Romeo and Juliet.

"We will be studying Romeo and Juliet this term. It characterises t-" the classroom door swung open, interrupting Mrs Petri's lecture.

The chattering of students died down as they shifted their attention to the door, Caroline and I mirroring their actions.

I tried to mask my shock as a fuming Blake stood in the middle of the doorway with the principle looking flustered beside him.

My heart lurched in my chest at the sight of him. This would have to be the first time I'd seen him since our argument two weeks ago.

"Sorry to interrupt Mrs Petri, this young man would now be attending your class" Principle Peter's hands trembled as he fiddled with the bottom of his tie.

I rolled my eyes at the flirtatious giggling of girls as they squealed in excitement. There was no doubt missing the lust filled gazes they were pulling as they practically undressed Blake with their eyes. I swear I even heard some girls sigh.

Blake saunted into the classroom, glaring coldly at the principal who was practically shaking under his patronising gaze.

My heart began to flutter wildly inside my chest as his eyes wandered around the classroom. Slowly they settled on me. My skin immediately began to burn.

He wore a grey V neck that clung onto his body like a second skin. I tried not to let my eyes linger down his arms, but I couldn't help it. Since he wasn't wearing his leather jacket, everybody had a clear view of his tattoos that trailed down his arms.

"I wasn't aware that Blake was in my class, sir" Mrs Petri said, wearing a puzzled expression on her face.

"He always was Mrs, he just never bothered to show up, but starting now he will be attending all of his classes." The principal grumbled in a stern voice. With one last warning look towards Blake, he left the classroom.

Mrs Petri clapped her hands loudly to gather everybody's attention. "Okay Blake you may take a seat" she smiled brightly, motioning to a empty seat at the back of the classroom which so happened to be two desks beside me. Just great.

Not sparing the teacher a second glance, he advanced to his seat, putting his feet up on the desk and circling his hands behind his head.

"Blake feet off the desk I do not tolerate such disrespectful actions in my classroom."

He ignored her comment.

"Blake I will not ask you again" her tone was much harsher now as she stalked towards him. By now I was certain that everybody's attention was fixed on him again.

Slowly, he turned his head in her direction.

"No"

I sucked in a breath. Oh he was in so much trouble.

"I am the teacher I make the rules." She was beyond fuming now.

He wore a stone expression on his face yet his blue eyes twinkled with amusement.

Did he honestly find this funny?

He shifted his body closer to her, his smouldering blue eyes locking with hers. What on earth was he doing?

"Mrs Petri, did I ever tell you how beautiful you looked today?" he trailed his eyes down her body, which mind you was wrinkly because she was a 50 YEAR OLD WOMAN!

Mrs Petri blushed a deep shade of red, "Well thank you Blake that is very sweet of you." She giggled.

Yep giggled.

I think I was going to be sick.

Blake smirked darkly, eyeing the silver ring on her left hand. "Your husband is very lucky to have such an intelligent wife"

I rolled my eyes.

The teachers cheeks heated again at his words, "aren't you charming." She smiled, completely oblivious to the fact that she was telling him off five seconds ago.

My mouth dropped once she turned around and walked back to the front of the classroom. I can't believe she fell for that!

"Okay class as I was saying, we will be studying the play Romeo and Juliet."

Groans and grunts of protests from the boys echoed around the class.

"We will start this off with becoming familiar with the play. I will be selecting random people in this class to give us their opinion on Romeo and Juliet so we can learn the different point of views this play shares." Mrs Petri said before she looked around the classroom.

"Lola, your thoughts?" her eyes landed on a brown haired girl, I recognized as one of tiffany's minions.

She straightened up, fixing her slutty cropped top before opening her mouth.

"Well I think Romeo and Juliet is a beautiful romantic story that shows their journey on fighting for love. It of course ends in a tragedy as they die for one another not wanting to be apart." She smirked smugly, proud of her answer.

I snorted.

The teacher nodded. "Lovely Lola" she said.

Her eyes wandered around the room until they landed on Caroline.

I shot her a smug smirk.

"Heaven dear, your thoughts?" My body jerked in my seat.

No no no no no

This time Caroline shot me a smug smile.

I glared playfully at her, before looking back at the teacher.

"I really just find the play dumb I don't have an opinion Mrs" I stated.

The classroom fell silent.

"Why do you think that?" Mrs Petri questioned me further.

I sighed, sitting up in my chair. "It's just pathetic. I mean they were like 12, they just met and then fall in love on the first day of seeing each other. You can't just fall in love like that, they confused love with attraction. They're too naive. So many things could of been prevented if they actually used their brains. When romeo thinks Juliet is dead he tries to kill himself just like that. It's just dumb, his so young he can learn to love again. The play is just so frustrating, they both up dying in the end over a misunderstanding, not for love"

I glanced at Caroline only to see her suppressing a laugh.

"Very good Heaven, I'm glad you told us your true opinion." Mrs Petri gave me a warm smile.

"Okay class, I have some exciting news for you all!" She clapped excitedly.

"We are going to be performing a play on Romeo and Juliet in front of the school in four weeks!"

A mixture of protests and cheers from students echoed around the class at the news.

I mentally shuddered at the thought. Me, performing in a play?

Hell no.

"In the performing arts hall there will be a notice on the main board displaying the casted roles.
You cannot change who you will be playing so if you don't like the character I have chosen for you, suck it up. I believe you all have great potential, some greater than others but all able to be apart of something" Mrs Petri finished before handing us sheets of the script.

BRINGGGGGGGGG

I grabbed my things as soon as the bell rang, leaving the classroom with Caroline by my side.

"I am not looking forward to this play" I groaned out loud.

The sound of Carolines soft giggles caused my lips to twitch up, "it's not even that bad" she mused.

Making our way to the performing arts hall, we walked to the main board to find our names.

I scrolled my finger down the list of people until I found my name. My eyes grew wide as I read who I would be playing.

"You have to be fucking kidding me" I cursed under my breath.
