Ian POV

It is now halftime and I look around in the stands and see Benny, "You're kicking ass out there, so you better kick ass tomorrow night." I roll my eyes and hold out my hand, "Just give me the cupcake."

He pulls the cupcake out of his bag and hands it to me, "Why did you want me to get this mega cupcake?" I look at him and sigh, "Because I yelled at Quiet earlier today and when she asked about my reason I fight." He sucks his teeth and crosses his arms, "You need to stop being mean to her. I like Hazel, I want to see her tomorrow at your fight."

I nod my head as I walk off, "She'll be there, she's going to be there early to Owen fight." I walk off and head towards the cheerleaders.

"Quiet! Come here, I have something for you!" She looks at me and smile, she walks up to me and shakes her pompoms in my face. "You're doing well out there."

I keep the cupcake hidden behind my back, "Thanks, you guys cheering is helping us." She claps her hands and squeals, "Why are you talking to me anyway? You should be talking to Hannah." I look around and shrug my shoulders, "Do you see Hannah around? I'm here to talk to you, not her."

She rolls her eyes and holds her hands out, "What's my surprise?" I suck my teeth and show her the jumbo cupcake, her eyes widen, "Ah!! Oh My God!! Thank you so much!! I haven't had a cupcake in a while!"

She jumps into my arms and hugs my neck, I wrap my arms around her waist to hold her up. "Yeah, I can't breath." She lets go quickly and jumps down, "It's my way of saying sorry for yelling at you these past few times we talked to each other."

She hugs the box to her chest and looks at me, "I told you I was over it, you really didn't have to." I shrug my shoulders, "I wanted to and before you leave tonight go see Benny, he's here." She nods her head and runs back up to Lily and the rest of the cheerleaders.

I walk back towards the rest of the team, "Where did you go?" I look Shane and point at Benny, "I went to go see Benny and I also gave Quiet her jumbo cupcake."

"Hey, Shane!! I love you!!" Quiet shouts.
"Wooo!!! Shane, you're doing good!!" Lily shouts.

Shane turns to look at them, he smiles back at them and starts jumping up and down. "Love you too Cupcake!!! Thank you, Lily, I'll get a kiss from you after the game!!!"

The cheerleaders and the football players look at Lily and then at Shane. Lily shakes her head and hides her face behind her pompom. I hit Shane in his stomach, "Why would you say that out loud? Now everybody's looking at you and Lily, now they're going to think y'all date."

Shane shrugs his shoulders and turns back around to the team, "So what, let people think what they want to think. As long as it doesn't hurt us, we'll be fine." I roll my eyes as we walk up to the coach.

Coach looks at me, "Ian this is your last play and then you're out for the night." I nod my head and look at Shane, "I get all the shine to myself again." I lightly push him as we walk back on the field.

I look at Shane and we fist bump, "Let this last play be your best play for the night!"

After The Game

"Wooo!! This is our year!!" Shane shouts as we leave the locker room. Lily, Hannah, Quiet, and Owen are waiting for us.

Hannah runs up to me and jumps in my arms, "You did good, especially on your last play for the night." I kiss her on the lips and Lily groan, "Ugh!! I rather not see you kiss on each other." We look at Lily and Shane throws his arm over her shoulders.

Quiet laughs at us, "Just ignore Lily, y'all both did good out there." I look at Quiet and smile, "My favorite part of the night is going over to you and dancing with y'all."

Owen throws his head back and laughs, "That was actually funny, I wasn't expecting that. Where's Austin?" We all look around and Lily points him out, "He's over there talking to Matthew."

We all look to where she is pointing and see Austin and Matthew talking.

"I'm staying over at your house, I don't want to go home." I look over and see Quiet looking up at Owen with a smile, "Fine by me, my parents aren't home and won't be home until three days from now. You want the others to come?"

She nods her head at the question and Owen picks her up bridal style. She lets out a squeal, "Put me down!!" Owen looks at me, "Y'all can sleepover at my place tonight, my parents aren't home."

Lily and Shane quickly turn to look at Owen, "We'll be there in an hour!" They say at the same time, "Where's Mason?" Owen snaps his fingers at me, "He went home to get some things. He's staying over also."

I look at Hannah and she looks up at me, "You can go, I'm staying over at Megan's house." I grab her face and kiss her on the lips, "I like kissing you." She smiles up at me and kisses me once more on my lips.

"I'll see you tomorrow at your fight." She walks off and I turn to look at Owen and Quiet, "Do you want us to follow you or you'll meet us at my place?" Quiet is now on his back with her head down.

"I'll just meet y'all there." He nods his head and starts walking off, "Hazel already sent you the address." I give him a lazy wave and walk off to my car.

My phone starts ringing, "DON'T LEAVE ME!!!" I move my phone away from my ear and put the phone on speaker, "Austin?! Why are you breathing hard and calling me in a panic?"

He continues to breathe on the phone for three minutes straight, "I don't have a ride, I rode with Shane today, but he said he went home to pick up some clothes to stay at Owen house." I let out a soft laugh and put my forehead on the steering wheel.

"Let me guess. You want to come along." I start laughing when I see him running towards my car, "Yes I want to come!!"

He hangs up and gets in the car, "I'm guessing we have to stop by your house?" He nods his head and lets out a heavy breath. "I was with Matthew and lost track of time."

I laugh as I pull out of the school parking lot, "Why didn't he come?" He shrugs his shoulders, "He said he was going to hang out with his friends tonight."

"Did you give Hazel that jumbo cupcake?" I nod my head, "Yeah, why?" He makes a face and then looks at me, "No reason, just wondering."

We pull up to my house and I go in to get my things. It takes us twenty minutes to get to Austin house and ten minutes to get to Owen house.

As we pull up we look at the driveway and see Owen car and another car that is not Mason or Shane's car. "Looks like we're the first ones here." We get out the car and walk up to the door.

I ring the doorbell, "Hazel! Get the door for me!" We hear Owen from the inside. Seconds later Quiet opens the door with a tank top on and some pajama pants on.

"Who is it?" Owen comes from upstairs with a few blankets and pillows. We walk in the living room and sit down on the couch, "Mason is on his way and Shane and Lily went to go pick up some pizza and snacks." Owen says as he sits down on the floor in between Quiet legs.

"I'm so excited for y'all fight! Especially you Owen, I want to see how you fight!" She looks at me and smiles, "I'll cheer for you Ian, make sure you dedicate one of your hits for me."

She starts laughing and I smile, "I'll see what I can do." I sit back on the sofa and sigh, "Let's go eat at the diner after our fight."

We all look at Owen, I arch my eyebrow, "Have you ever been there?" He looks at me and shakes his head no. I roll my eyes and laugh, "I just heard it was good, so I want to try it after my fight."

The doorbell rings and Austin goes to get it, "Am I the first one here?!" Mason comes in with his arms up and a smile on his face, he sees me and Austin. "I hate y'all." We start laughing and he jumps onto the couch.

"What are y'all talking about?" Quiet looks at him and smile, "We were talking about going to the diner after the fight." Mason claps his hands and smile, "Fine by me, I can't wait to see Owen fight."

Quiet wraps her arms around Owen's neck and he kisses her arm. Austin comes from the kitchen and walks to the door and open it. Shane and a furious Lily come in.

Shane sits on the couch beside me and Lily sits in his lap, "What's wrong with you?" Lily glares at Austin and then at me, "His girlfriend and ex-girlfriend really want me to punch them in their faces. I swear before we graduate and leave, I am going to choke both of them!!"

She crosses her arms and Shane rubs her back, "What did they do this time?" She stands up and walks up to me, "We are at Pizza Hut waiting on our pizza. All of a sudden they walk in. At first, I was ignoring them, but Megan said something to me."

I stand up and look down at her, "What did Megan say?" She pushes me back down on the couch and walks back to Shane, "She said she would have cheered better if me and Hazel weren't there." I rub my face and Mason laughs.

"So what did you do after that?" She looks at Mason and smile, "Oh you know me being me I snatched her pizza out her hand and threw it outside and fed it to the cats." We all start laughing and Quiet shakes her head with a smile, "Lily you really have to control your anger."

Mason looks at her, "I like when she loose control, it's nice that way." Quiet rolls her eyes and Owen looks up to her and stick his tongue out.

"Make sure I hear you cheer for me tomorrow."
