Ian POV

We pull up to Shane house and see everybody standing around Shane car.

"I really wanted it to be just us." I look over at Quiet and see that she is just staring out the window. I let out a long sigh, "Was it wrong of me for calling you cute?"

She looks at me quickly and shakes her head no, "No, it's just that that was your first time calling me cute and I just don't know how to react." I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, "You had me worry over nothing. Next time just show off your smile when someone compliments you."

I squeeze her cheek and she moves her face away from me, "I usually smile, but for some reason when you compliment me I just couldn't react." Before I could say anything Shane opens the door.

"Cupcake! Get your friend Lily! She keeps bothering me!" Quiet looks away from me and looks at Shane and Lily, "He's the one who started it." Lily says as she throws a small rock at Shane back.

Quiet laughs, "What are y'all arguing about this time?" They both look at Quiet and then at each other. Lily puts her hands on her hips and Shane scratches his head, Mason starts laughing, "They forgot what they were arguing about. That is so sad."

They both give him the middle finger and he starts laughing even harder. I look pass Mason and see Hannah, "What is she doing here?" I whisper to myself.

"I'm going to ride with Shane and them." I look at Quiet and slowly nod my head. They all head to Shane car and Hannah gets in my car. "I thought you were going to be with Megan for the day."

She kisses my cheek, "I told her next time because we're going costume shopping." I put the car in reverse and head to the store. "What are we going to be?"

She shrugs her shoulders, "I don't know yet. Do you have anything in mind?" I shake my head no, "I actually don't, we can just try on things and see where that takes us."

She claps her hands and squeal, I look at her with a small smile on my face. I am a little disappointed that me and Quiet couldn't go by ourselves, but I'm happy now that Hannah is here with me.

I grab her hand and kiss it, "What was that for?" I look at her and laugh, "Can't I show my girlfriend some affection?" She rolls her eyes and laughs, "It was just a question and of course you can."

We arrive at the Halloween store fifteen minutes later. Lily and Quiet rush in the store. Shane looks over at me and points, "Make sure Cupcake doesn't get something revealing and the same thing for Lily." I hold my hands up in surrender, "Why do I have to watch them?"

He looks straight ahead, "Because if I watch, I'm not going to stop them. I'm going to be happy, but regret it when we get to the party." I roll my eyes as I grab Hannah hand. "I wonder about you sometimes."

We head into the store and went straight to the back. "Lily! Please try that on!" We all look at Shane and he is on his knees looking up a confused Lily, "Why do you want me to try it on? It's just a fairy suit."

"Because I think you would look cute in it." Lily rolls her eyes and puts the costume back. "Well I don't like fairies, so I'm not putting it on." She walks pass him and we all start laughing.

Mason bends down beside Shane and pats his back. "Try again next time." Shane stands up quickly and dusts himself off. "Do not stop Lily from wearing anything!"

I pull Hannah away from him and go to a different set of costumes. "Do you want to match or not?" She looks at me and smile, "Let's match! It will be so cute!" I laugh at her excitement.

I go somewhere else to look and all of sudden I see Quiet looking through the costumes. "You find anything yet?" She looks at me and shakes her head, "Nothing's catching my eye. What are you and Hannah going to be?"

I start helping her look for costumes, "We're going to be Dracula and Dracula's wife." She lets out a soft laugh, "Awe! That's so cute." She pulls out a nurse outfit and I scrunch up my face.

"If you wear that, me, Shane, and Mason will be fighting that night." She rolls her eyes, "Mason and Shane would love me in this. You won't even be able to look, Hannah is going to kill you."

I wrap my arms around her shoulder and whisper in her ear, "I can look at what I want whenever I want." She pushes me away and looks at me with an arch eyebrow, "Rather you not do that. If you get caught staring Hannah will have a fit and ruin the night for you."

She goes back to looking for a costume, "Just help me find a costume." I let out a soft chuckle and went back to looking for her a costume.

Fifteen minutes later Quiet starts groaning, "I give up I can't find one that I like."

I pull out a costume and show it to her. She looks at the nun costume with a smile, "Ah!! Oh My God! Shane is going to love this!" She snatches the costume out my hand and runs to the register.

I shake my head with laughter. "You're welcome."

Hazel POV

"Cupcake!! Lily!! Tell me what you got! I want to see!" We are all at Shane house and he has been harassing me and Lily about our costumes.

I push him by his face, "Shane! Stop! We're not telling you! Mason, Austin! Get him away from us." Austin starts laughing, "Shane leave them alone, you will see Saturday after Ian fight."

Shane looks at Austin and pouts, "Buttholes." I walk over to Austin and sit beside him on the floor. I lay my head in his lap and he runs his fingers through my hair.

"Lily, are you going to cheer for me at the game?" Shane is now laying his head on Lily stomach, "Duh, I have to cheer for the whole team." We all start laughing, I look over at Ian and he is whispering in Hannah's ear.

He catches me looking at them and I quickly look away. "Ian, are you even going to be able to play as much?" Ian looks at Mason and shakes his head, "No, coach knows I have a fight the night after so he is going to let me play at a minimum."

Shane stands up and claps his hands, "That means we will not be sharing our shine anymore. It's all going to be on me." I roll my eyes at Shane childishness and look at Austin.

"Have you talked to Matthew?" He looks down at me and shakes his head, "No I haven't, I barely see him around school." I let out a laugh and shrug my shoulders, "Don't wait for him to show up in your sight, just go look for him."

He looks at me with wide eyes and leans down and kisses my forehead, "I would have never thought of that! I love you so much!" I giggle as he kisses my forehead multiple times, "I love you too."

I close my eyes and sigh to myself. This will be my first time going to a football game, not only will I be watching, I will be on the sideline cheering for them on the cheer team along with Lily.

I'm glad I met Lily, she's my first real friend along with Shane. I continue to think to myself when all of sudden someone hits me with a pillow. I sit up quickly and see Shane pointing at Lily.

I look at Lily and she is looking the other way. I let out a groan and throw the pillow back at her, "May I ask why you threw the pillow at me?" She looks at me and shows me a small smile, "I didn't think it would hit you, to be honest."

I roll my eyes and stand up, "Shane I'm going downstairs to get us some more snacks." Without even looking away from the tv he nods his head.

I walk downstairs to the kitchen and made some popcorn and pour some chips in a bowl. "Need some help?"

"Ah! What the he-?! Ian, you scared the crap out of me!" He lets out a soft laugh and walks up to me. I'm not going to lie, Ian is very good looking, he's not like most boys like I thought he would be.

Ian waves his hand in front of my face, "Did you hear what I said?" I shake my head and look at him, "No I actually didn't, I was somewhere else. What did you say?" He leans against the countertop and crosses his arms, "What were you thinking about when you were looking at me earlier?"

I look at him with confusion written on my face, "What are you talking about?" Before he could answer I remember right away, "I really wasn't thinking anything. I was just looking, to be honest." He looks at me with something in his eyes.

He pushes himself off the counter and walks up to me, "What would you do if I were to kiss you?" My eyes widen and I step back with no hesitation, "That won't ever happen, so I don't have to think about what I would do. Why would you want to kiss me anyway? You have a pretty girl like Hannah as your girlfriend."

I walk pass him and look over my shoulder, "Can you get the drinks?" He is still staying in the same spot I left him at seconds ago, without looking at me he answers me, "I'll be up there in a few. I'll grab a few more things so we don't have to make any more trips."

I look at his back for a few seconds longer and then turn around and head back to Shane room. As I'm walking to Shane room I think to myself.

Why would Ian even ask a question like that?
