The sunlight peeked through the white curtains Oikawa has in his room—perfectly hitting his face. Ever since he moved in this apartment, this has been his own alarm clock when he didn't need to wake up earlier.

However, it wasn't in his plan to wake up like usual since it's his day off. Originally, he and his friends were planning to go clubbing, but he suddenly missed you and lost the previous energy he has. That's why he has been spamming you with "I miss you" and "I wish you were here" messages.

[I miss you, Y/N-chan! I just woke up and have nothing else to do. Are you busy? Please call me~ ('ρ')]

Oikawa was really lonely that he stayed in his bed and stared at his phone, waiting for your reply. It was 6 in the morning in Argentine where he is, so it should be around 6pm now in Japan. He presumed that you were still awake and maybe cooking dinner; so Oikawa waited for around 30 minutes.

But no matter how long he waited, even when he decided to wait while he eats breakfast, you never replied or even read his text. He's not trying to be dramatic and gave you the benefit of the doubt, but the lack of attention from you has been happening frequently.

Although you were still the same when you do get to his messages; still, this could not stop Oikawa from overthinking.

First of all, he was your first love from high school—which was a time for confused teens. It's not guaranteed that you're sentiments for him won't change; and second, you two have been in a long distance relationship ever since third year high school. Even if you did meet a couple of times by staying a week or two in each other's apartments when the other is in the country, the chance of you meeting another guy and falling out of love with Oikawa, was still higher.

Out of frustration, he messed with his hair and tried to be calm. He told himself multiple times that he should have faith in you even though a voice in the back of his mind kept telling him to just confront you.

At the same time, Oikawa was scared to wrong you. He wanted to trust you, he really does, because that's the foundation of every relationship. But his insecurities crept up again.

Then a loud sound pulled Oikawa from his train of thoughts. He blinked slowly before realizing that there was someone in front of his door, ringing the doorbell.

The guy hasn't fully recovered out of the energy consuming thoughts he just had, so he was still dazed when he look at the intercom to see who it was who came to see him.

The first thing that caused his eyes to widen, was your familiar, gentle smile. Then your eyes who still had this kind look that he adores, and then he noticed that you had changed your hairstyle.

Oikawa was taken aback. He immediately unlocked his door and swing it open, revealing your familiar figure and two huge suitcases beside you.

"Phew! I didn't know how hard it was to drag big suitcases all the way here from the airport," you flashed him a teasing grin, "Surely, we'll hire a moving company when we finally have our own house, right?"

Without answering to your advances, Oikawa lifted you in a hug and you two twirled in front of his apartment. You two were alone so no one paid attention about public display of affection. In fact, Oikawa actually likes showing everyone that you are his person; you on the other hand, only gives him satisfaction half of the time since you like to tease him.

"You're here, Y/N-chan..." He murmured in your shoulders, his voice sounding weak and like he's about to cry.

"Yes, and I'm staying here with you from now on, Tooru."

"You...Do you mean it?"

"Of course!" You replied before you reached to touch his face and affectionately move his hair away from his face.

"Do you know the hardships I went through just to get a permanent visa here? Luckily, a company that was partnered with the previous place I worked at, offered me a job here. It was also difficult to keep it a secret from you because I was so excited," you added.

Hearing your explanation, Oikawa assumed that the reason why you had less internet interaction with him was because you were busy arranging documents in order to complete your application for permanent visa in Argentina.

He remembered what he was thinking just before you came and he felt ashamed for doubting you when all you did was to find a solution so you can be with him. Oikawa blushed in embarrassment and averted his gaze from you.

You gave him a skeptical look and you tone was firm when you remarked, "Okay, what are you thinking? I hope it's not that I've left you for some other man, is it?"

He backed away in shocked at you finding out the thing that he exactly thought of moments ago. Clearly he tried to say excuses from all the inaudible sounds he made, but nothing came out and he just lowered his head in the end. Looking at his pitiful appearance that screamed "I'm a wounded puppy", you couldn't help but sigh.

"I know you don't mean to doubt me, but like I had told you a couple of times, I have eyes only for you." You softly reminded while grabbing his wrist and gently pulling Oikawa towards you. Your hands wrapped around his waist, and alternately, his hands on your back.

"I haven't forgotten that, but I'm still scared. You're too pretty, Y/N-chan." He whined, earning a chuckle from you.

"And I'm sure a lot of other great guys have their eyes on you too," he added.

"Oh yeah, there are plenty of them," you hummed in agreement, without hesitation. Removing your head that leaned against his chest while still maintaining the hug, so you felt when Oikawa froze. This resulted your beaming laugh, and soon, Oikawa realized that you were messing with him.

You looked like he was going to cry, but you laughed harder in response. The fact that this guy is considered to be one of the most intimidating volleyball player and yet, he becomes so soft and such a crybaby when it comes to you—is hilarious. However, this is also a part of him that you love.

"I'm not kidding though, Tooru. I have met lots of amazing men, but none of them caught my heart and never will," you paused as you locked gazes with him, "Because I have the most wonderful and amazing boyfriend."

"Don't ever think it's strange that I'm still with you after all this time, because you're all I could ask for. The only person that I love so much in this world, is you, okay? That will never change."

His lips parted along with his softened expression. Oikawa know that you never lie when you're with him, because you're afraid of misunderstandings. After hearing you console him again—even after telling him always that he's the only one for you—Oikawa felt his worries fade. Perhaps it was because you said you were gonna live with him from now on.

"So, can I come in now? I'm really tired..." You giggled light-heartedly when he got frantic about his hospitality. But overall, he was smiling eye to eye knowing that your long distance relationship is finally over. Oikawa even hummed a happy tune and laughed to himself multiple times as he brought your luggage inside his apartment.

"Now that I'm here again, don't you think it's too small for building a family?" You asked nonchalantly, referring to his apartment. Oikawa hummed in agreement at first, before realizing what he just agreed to.

The man blushed furiously as he stared at your playful grin...

"My heart is really delicate, Y/N-chan! I should be the one proposing to you!"
