MIA

"Isla!" I yelled.

Isla didn't even bother turning around and just started sprinting. She ran around a corner and I ran after her.

At the corner I was abruptly stopped by the boys blocking my way.

Will, Finnegan, Mcallister, O'Connor, Davis One and Davis Two stood tall, blocking the entire hallway so that I couldn't move past them. Bea, Matt and Beth were there as well blocking the small spaces in between some of them.

"I need to talk to her please guys," I begged.

"You hurt my sister twice," Will said. "I don't hit girls but you're really tempting me to break that. No one hurts my little sister, not even me."

"My sister cried for you," Matt said. "So if you dare come after us I assure you that Beth and Bea will beat the crap out of you. Now leave her the fuck alone."

They turned around and started walking down the hallway and my feet were forced to remain planted.

"You're what?!" Macy yelled.

"I'm quitting," I said. "Q-U-I-T-T-I-N-G quitting."

"You can't do that!" she said.

"You told Isla," I said. "I was going to tell her the truth. How you blackmailed me but, now she thinks I just cheated on her because I could. I loved her, I love her and you just ruined it all."

"She took my boyfriend," she said. "I love him."

"She doesn't like guys you unintelligent buffoon! And just because your ex was an asshole doesn't mean you have to piss on everyone's parade! I lost my girlfriend because of you! I hope you're fucking happy."

I walked away and I heard Macy mutter. "I'm sorry, Mia."

"Maybe one day I'll forgive you, just not today."

"Isla I know you hate me," I said. "But I also know that you're too nice to delete this before you hear what I have to say. Macy blackmailed me. She told me that if I wouldn't be with her I'd be off cheer so I had to do it. I don't know where the picture was from. All I can think of was when I passed out and couldn't remember what happened the next morning. I know that I never slept with her."

That day you came to my house dripping from the rain I knew I was in love with you. And I know you don't hurt the person you love so I cut it off with Macy. I was going to tell you I just never expected you to find out the way you did. I'm so, so sorry but I know sorry isn't enough. I've tried everything, I apologized, I put a huge sorry note on your bike, but nothing worked, so I quit cheer."

I love you Isla Maria Hawthorne. And I'll be waiting here if you want me back in your life."

I ended the call and prayed to any god that would listen that Isla would somehow forgive me.
