Katherine Gilliam hates reading. Her only concern is passing chemistry, finding a way to survive the last few months of high school before graduation. Life has always seemed dull and meaningless to her. Having a teen mom and an entirely absent father makes things more complicated. But then Kat meets Roland, the guy who works at the bookstore.
