we are writing the summer of 1986. You are an 18 years old high-school student, in your freetime you spend your time outdoors as much as you can trying to get away from home as long as possible. Your parents are constantly fighting then come crying to you about how awful the other is while you just don't want to deal with their fighting, you don't want to pick someone's side. So to get out of the situation you are usually in the woods, taking pictures of everything. After school you help out at the shelter since you love animals, although some of their stories are breaking your heart, but sadly, you can't adopt them all. This summer you took a job at camp lakewood somewhere in the middle of nowhere, spending 6 weeks of watching the campers and doing activities with them. You used this as an opportunity to get away from home and get some money together for that trip to Europe you've been planning for a while now. You always wanted to see the world and once you have your money together it will be just you, your backpack and Europe.
