Orhan locked her brother Kasim in kafes and exiled her mother, and then he decided Neslihan as only female Sultana by birth in the dynasty could do something that would bring him a favour. Instead of continuing the war with Crimeans, he decided to give his cousin Neslihan to Khanzade Mehmed Giray, who just ascended throne, as a wife. Crimeans knew she was jewel of Ottoman dynasty and accepted it to end the war.
Mehmed Giray's life changed completely. He had to abandon woman he loves just because he had a duty to marry Ottoman Sultana who was of higher position than him. He had to abandon his harem and have her as his only wife, even though that was the last thing he wanted. He had to marry a woman to save his country, but that decision would only affect him.
How would Neslihan and Mehmed handle the decision that was made by someone who has higher authority than them? Will they find their way to happiness beside everything, or will they live their life desperate because they are forced to be with someone they don't even know?
